  “Rocks and minerals: the oldest storytellers.” -A.D. Posey Basil Karlo, the ultimate Clayface. Flint Marko, the sinister Sandman. Being a criminal means not getting caught, to steal in the night but walk during the day as someone else and continue to go unseen.. But for these two, they take being someone else to the next level. After exposure to the gradation of sand and clay, these two malleable shapeshifters became some of the strongest and most dangerous enemies that Gotham or New York City have ever seen, capable of towering over buildings, imitating their enemies, growing multiple limbs, and became some of the most dangerous enemies to Batman and Spider-Man. Along the way however, they really did become someone else, finding redemption in being a hero when given a chance to do the right thing, becoming a part of the Gotham Knights and Avengers, proving that not just their appearances can be changed, but their hearts as well. But what happens when you mix together clay and sand?
