“Imagination creates some big monsters.” -Oliver Martinez
King Ghidorah, Emperor of the Cosmos and Rival to Godzilla.
Deathsaurus, Emperor of Destruction and Rival to Star Saber.
No planet in space is safe from these dragon-like giant monsters of death and destruction. If they seek to conquer, they will. If they seek to destroy, they will. And now, six heads will clash in a terrifying fight that will tear the universe asunder. Will King Ghidorah bring a new meaning to the word terror, or will Deathsaurus crush the three-headed worm with his bare hands? The Emperors will step down from their throne in this DEATH BATTLE!
Before We Start…
King Ghidorah and Deathsaurus come from two very complex franchises in terms of media. Godzilla and Transformers have many shows/cartoons, movies, comics, manga, video games, and even weirder properties such as action figure lines and TV magazines. Both are characters that have a lot of versions of themselves in different forms, so the compositing process for both is a soft-comp situation. Where we’re using a majority of their versions minus a few distinct ones. Let’s talk about both of them in-depth.
For Ghidorah, we’ll be going over pretty much everything except for two versions of the character, due to almost every version of him being similar to each other in nature or in terms of King Ghidorah and his power sets, designs, and origins. Movies across the Showa, Heisei, Millenium, and Monsterverse eras are obviously on the table, along with any of their tie-in comics and guidebooks. Comics from the IDW line will also be used, along with novelizations of the various Monsterverse films, as they are canon to the movies. In terms of the video games, everything from Godzilla Vs 3 Giant Monsters to Godzilla Domination! will be included, and even Godzilla Battle Line. Despite being a mobile game with crossovers with the likes of Shin Ultraman, Gamera, Evangelion, and Shin Kamen Rider, it should be fair use due to being heavily made with the premise of being a licensed Godzilla game first and foremost.
One Ghidorah you may be surprised to see us use is Void Ghidorah from the Netflix anime movie trilogy. Most versus discussions with Ghidorah exclude this version and for understandable reasons, however we believe he should be fair game and will elaborate more on why in Before The Verdicts. The two Ghidorah incarnations we will actually be excluding are Desghidorah and Keizer Ghidorah. Desghidorah is a different character to King Ghidorah, but given they’re both members of the Ghidorah race, Desghidorah will naturally be used for scaling purposes. Keizer Ghidorah will be excluded for similar reasons, given in Godzilla Final Wars he’s explicitly referred to as a different Ghidorah. In the movie’s theater program, he’s called a "trump card of the Ghidorah clan" who "possesses far more power than King Ghidorah." Thus, it will not be included in the blog. Also, no we will not be including the Marvel crossovers with Godzilla lol
Now moving onto Deathsaurus, a semi-composite will be used for the blog. Our primary source is the JG1 Continuity as it is where the original Deathsaurus is from, along with alternate versions of the original Japanese series like the Masterforce and Victory Manga, as they take heavy inspiration from the original Toy Line bios.
As for other media, we would also be taking a look at the mobile game, Transformers: Earth Wars and Timelines, as they also take inspiration from the original toy bio.
Background
King Ghidorah
The year was 1954, it was an average day in post-war Japan when suddenly, from the aquatic depths of the sea, the King of the Monsters, Gojira appeared. Or as he’s better known as “Godzilla”. Godzilla laid waste to all who stood before him, until Dr. Serizawa took out the beast with his Oxygen Destroyer, killing himself alongside him…but sadly, there was another Godzilla. This newer Godzilla fought off a mutant ankylosaurus, an alcoholic ape, and an oversized moth. He was in the middle of clashing with the monster Rodan, when from a fallen meteor, his arch nemesis would appear, the Emperor of the Cosmos, the Golden Demise, Monster Zero, the Three Headed Monster, King Ghidorah! It took the might of Godzilla, Rodan and Mothra to send him flying off with his twin tails between his legs. But he’d show up again to team up with Gigan and would be killed for good when there was an attempt to Destroy All Monsters…
But King Ghidorah, being Godzilla’s arch rival, would appear throughout Godzilla’s 70 years of existence. And he would gain several different origins throughout the years. From being the product of time travel sci fi bullshittery, to a guardian spirit of Japan, to a world eating eldritch horror beyond human comprehension, and back to his space alien origins, King Ghidorah has always shown up to be the Big G’s greatest foe. A lot of the time it takes Godzilla to team up with other Monsters to stand up to King Ghidorah, let alone beat him. He’s called the Emperor of the Cosmos for a reason, and he’s a ruler without the very concept of mercy.
There have been several different Ghidorah variants throughout the ages alongside King Ghidorah. From the (literally) prehistoric Cretaceous Ghidorah, to the cyborg-ified corpse of the future Mecha King Ghidorah, to the vile and vicious DesGhidorah, the adorable and helpful Chibi King Ghidorah, and the MMA fighter meteor, Monster X, aka, Keizer Ghidorah. So remember, when the King of the Monsters starts stomping around with a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound as he’s tearing those spitting high tension wires down, his only real challenger to the throne is none other than The Devil with Three Heads, King Ghidorah! After all, peasants should learn to bow to both their Emperor, and to their apocalypse.
Deathsaurus
The year was 1984, humanity had found themselves entangled in an ongoing civil war between two factions of alien mechanical beings. The Decepticons, led by the tyrannical Megatron. And the Autobots, led by their red and blue bot scout himself… Convoy?! Yeah… Japanese G1 started off pretty similar to its American counterpart barring a few name changes etc. However at some point, the continuity started to diverge completely. To go in behind the scenes, in the original Transformers cartoon, the final season ended with “Rebirth”, a 3 parter that concluded the cartoon in an unsatisfying way. Japan was a different story, as the Rebirth never aired there, they created multiple anime original seasons like Headmasters, Masterforce and Victory as a way to continue their own version of the Cartoon.
Flash forward to the current time in Victory, aka 2025, the Greatest Swordsman in the Universe, Star Saber, became the new Autobot Leader. Whereas for the Decepticons, surpassing the previous leader, the new Emperor of Destruction was: Deathsaurus. This Decepticon wanted to claim that title thousands of years ago, so they created a mighty fortress, capable of destroying worlds. However they were stopped by Star Saber, who would seal it away in the Dark Nebula, and from then on, the two would become mortal enemies. Deathsaurus would become leader of the Decepticons and part of his own sub group known as the Breastforce (yes, that’s their official name), traveling across the solar system but mostly Earth, to collect the energy needed to unleash the Planet Destroying Fortress. Despite the Autobots’ best efforts delaying the inevitable, they lost respected members of their cause, like Ginrai who Deathsaurus himself killed.
In the end, Deathsaurus would collect the energy needed to reawaken the Fortress, releasing it from the Dark Nebula and setting his sights on Earth. Unfortunately one obstacle stood in his way, Star Saber. In one final battle, Deathsaurus would lose the fight against Star Saber, but with one final effort, he sent the Fortress to crash into the planet. However he was not able to potentially witness his enemy's defeat as he passed away from his injuries and drifted into space. Regardless of his passing, unfortunately his plan failed to come to reality, thanks to Star Saber and his ally Victory Leo. Despite his defeat, Deathsaurus still proved why he was the Emperor of Destruction and should he ever return from Death, may the universe tremble in fear.
Experience & Skill
King Ghidorah
Three minds, one body, King Ghidorah isn't as simple minded as many would believe especially when it comes to his problem solving skills and combat. He's able to adapt and counteract to opponents with greater fighting styles like Godzilla, who's adept in Wrestling, Boxing, Judo throws and is a black belt in Karate. Being mightier than other lifeforms would make him more skilled than Ebirah, who's so skilled to where he, in quote, “Puts Miyamoto Musashi to shame”. When he gets cornered as seen in King of the Monsters, the hydra bit down on an electrical transformer (ha..) to gain an instant boost to at least stun Godzilla and is also good at sneak attacks. Ghidorah can utilize his telepathy and cosmic awareness to locate lifeforms across the cosmos and may perhaps be the “Super-Intelligence” of the universe, but that's up for debate, and even has the knowledge to pilot a mech??? In Get Going! Godzilland, King Ghidorah is one of the smarter monsters on the island, already having knowledge on Hiragana and counting before Mothra's lessons; Mothra was canonically the only adult in the series which just boasts Ghidorah’s basic intelligence even as a child. His collective minds make himself nearly unstoppable, that is when their heads aren't bickering with each other. Void Ghidorah can use complex mathematical calculations to communicate with the Exif through the technology called Gematron Calculations.
Deathsaurus
As Emperor of Destruction, a title that applies to the current leader of the Decepticons, Deathsaurus is the highest ranking Decepticon which is often a consistent title for him throughout the G1 Continuity.
In JG1, Deathsaurus has been around for 500,000 years, with it being said that he's been battling with Star Saber during it, with each eventually surpassing their previous leaders. Deathsaurus frequently combats Star Saber, who is considered the greatest Swordsman in the Universe by many. Not only that, Deathsaurus has been able to make precise shots to knock down flyers. He’s also quite a scientific genius, having created many dangerous devices, which includes the Planet Destroying Fortress, a dangerous fortress capable of housing thousands of Decepticons and would be used to conquer the entire universe. Not only is he an inventor, but he's also a brilliant strategist, planning multiple schemes involving stealing energy, including stealing the energy of Atlantis and causing worldwide tidal waves as a result. Create gadgets like the Disruptions machines, something he himself created to mess with high tech spaceship technology and bring the ship to his crew so they could drain their fuels and create energy alloys; which are powerful energy sources. Use a giant drilling machine to take energy from the North Pole, knowing that humans haven't touched the energy deep underground. Use insect species from another planet to mess with the Autobots, create an automatic satellite that would drop a massive nuke with super-smart missiles inside that would blow up 4 different places at once, with a tracker to stop Star Saber from even trying to get there and so much more. So it's easy to say he's a genius in all regards.
In the G1 Wings Universe, Deathsaurus was a genius who rivals the greatest minds of Cybertron, making experiments on the body structures of the Transformers and theoretical work of combinations which would lead to inventing Combiner Technology. Throughout the universes of G1, Deathsaurus is often regarded as a bot who gets results, such as in Earth Wars, when he planned a Combiner of his to break him out, with Megatron saying that he knows Deathsaurus’ arrogance is often backed up with tangible results. In the same arc, Deathsaurus would quickly be capable of mastering The Dark Star Saber, which is impressive seeing as it can deny the user and also possess them. But he also figured out a lot of its powers, such as it being able to bring things from the past and its ability to protect its user from all harm. He also made several plans to get the Forge of Solus.
Equipment
King Ghidorah
Crystal Power Surges
Energy Crystals generated from SpaceGodzilla's rampage that unlock elemental abilities and boost general stats such as Speed; which makes the monster run and attack much faster and jump higher or boosts Ghidorah's regeneration. The rest of the surges are elemental based, different ones either increase the monster's durability, add fire or even more electrical damage, negate regeneration, or even completely nullify and absorb projectiles. The more he holds on to this power the more passive the effects become. Would also grant total invulnerability for nearly thirty seconds. If the said monster absorbs all seven surges, they unleash all their power into destructive shockwaves that paralyze their enemies. Fire, electricity, radiation and so forth are stronger than before.
Other Power-ups (Domination)
King Ghidorah has access to a variety of items from Godzilla Domination, these items can be used for self support or used against his enemies. They all either amplify statistics, heal, increase rage power, inflict minor mind manipulation and negate attacks.
Even More Power-Ups (Destroy All Monsters/Save the Earth)
In the 3D fighting games Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee and Godzilla Save the Earth, each character has a chance to pick up certain power ups that boost them in battle.
Health Power-up - Restores health upon pick up.
Energy Power-up - Restores a Monster’s energy upon pick up. Increases recharge rate and makes their attack speed faster.
Air Strike Power-up - When picked up, either Mothra, Battra, the Gotengo, or the Super X3 comes to their aid and rains hell down upon their foes. This is considered more of a Summon than Outside help since any Kaiju can pick these up like Godzilla, Destoroyah, Baragon, etc etc.
Rage Power-up - Makes the Monster whoever picked it up go into a “Rage Boost”. Their normal attacks get a 120% power increase, their knockback is intensified, their attack speed is boosted as much as an Energy Power-up, and they can even unleash a super powerful attack that deals devastating damage to whoever is unlucky enough to be hit by it. But it only lasts for 25 seconds before running out.
Prism
A human hand-sized prism Ghidorah took control of to drain the sun's energy by enveloping the celestial body in gas.
Dome
King Ghidorah can create a dome that allows things to pass through but has a corrosive effect when trying to leave, in addition to the dome's exterior being laced with tentacles. Living creatures inside the dome will slowly have their life-force drained and transferred into King Ghidorah.
Effect Pieces & Facilities
In Battle Line, King Ghidorah has access to equipment pieces if the battle goes south or for extra support. He can use multiple at once but only one each per piece until they're ready to be used again.
Markalite Cannon - Fires a powerful ray at nearby enemies.
JSDF Air Base - Produces AH-64D units every 6 seconds.
Energy Refueling Base - Recovers additional energy for the player.
MBAW-93 Unit Base - Produces MBAW-93 units every 7.5 seconds with their stun time being 0.4 seconds.
Godzilla Tower - Fires a steady blast at nearby enemies that deals damage every 0.3 seconds that increases in damage the longer it's active, dealing 10% of max for 1 seconds, 20% until 2 seconds, 40% until 3 seconds, 65% until 4 seconds and 100% thereafter.
Freezing Sonde - Slows enemy units within a circular area for 15 seconds.
Missile Strike - Damages enemies units within a circular area from an attack that hits multiple times.
Psychic Chorus - Heals your units up to five times every 2 seconds within a circular area.
Dimension Tide - Draws in nearby enemy units before a damaging blast hits the field.
Moguera '57 - Creates a burrowing damage effect to a specified location, which a Moguera unit then appears.
Unmanned Train Bombs - Damages enemy ground units along a horizontal line for first strike and then ground and aerial units for second strike.
KIDS - Teleports one of your units toward the opposing leader which takes 7 seconds.
Void Ghidorah - Deals a percentage of the enemy unit's max HP as damage each second to every enemy unit on the map, excluding leader. With it at full power it can deal 9.50% damage per second.
Operation Taba - Deals ranged damage in two horizontal rows with the first attack inflicting stun, although leaders are immune to this damage and the stun effect for 1.2 seconds.
Shobijin - Grants a secondary shield bar of health to ally units, facilities and leaders in the area of effect.
Deathsaurus
Spiked Flail
One of his most well-known weapons, his Spiked Flail is able to be used for short and medium distance fights, with its chain seemingly able to extend to a massive degree, which you can blame on inconsistent animation. It also has a blade at the end
Deathtailer Sword
His Signature melee weapon, Deathsaurus can summon this weapon to battle the likes of Star Saber, being able to clash with the Saber Blade.
Deathtailer Shield
His main defensive weapon in close quarters combat, despite being constantly broken multiple times, it's still pretty useful as a way to block attacks.
Breast Animal Partners
Eagle Breast
Eagle Breast is one of Deathsaurus's breast plate partners who's fully faithful to him. He transforms into a laser weapon for his master. Besides that, he can fire missiles non stop from the shoulders, and can act on its own.
Tiger Breast
Like Eagle Breast, Tiger Breast is another one of Deathsaurus's loyal partners. He turns into a bow weapon for his master with the arrow that he shoots through him having weird homing properties. The arrow is sharp enough to pierce through Cybertronians and once it strikes its mark it can suddenly disappear. Tiger Breast can fire Lasers from its shoulders and similar to its fellow breast, can act on its own to attack.
Firearms
Just like many Transformers he also comes packing up with a guns! Such as miniguns. Or this light blue laser rifle as shown above.
Blade Missiles
In his new resurrected body in the Wings Universe. Deathsaurus gained a new weapon. He now has gained a pair of swords that can launch their blade missiles through a pressure mechanism, packing a mean punch. He’s also capable of combining these two swords into a large double-blade weapon. These blades are also equipped with a sensor that allows no one but him to use it.
Doriya
A Species of insects from another planet, these were used by Deathsaurus to destroy the Autobots. They are attracted to heat and eat the Living Metal of Cybertronians. Squashing them doesn’t help either, as their acid is capable of burning right through their victims. Even ignoring the Cybertronian natural resistance to them.
Living-Metal-Destroying Cannon
This cannon is the personal weapon of the Emperor. For maximum destructive effect, the cannon links up with Deathsaurus's own systems and runs on his personal energy supply. A fully-charged blast erodes any metal, even the living metallic cells (metals such as Bio-chanic, proto-matter, techno-matter, sentio metallico, birth metal, cyber-matter, Sparked Metal, elemental metal and Transformium) of super-robot lifeforms, leaving any opponent dead or dying. It's even left Star Saber paralyzed for at least a few minutes. Just a graze from this weapon is able to cause massive damage. However weirdly enough, this cannon doesn’t just destroy metal, He was also able to use it to cause Energon to blow up and create several massive explosions. Explosions strong enough to cause Atlantis to go back up into the surface.
Living-Metal-Destroying Bomb
A Time Bomb which destroys living metal. Deathsaurus used it as a way to weaken Star Saber.
The Thunder Arrow
While the Decepticon Space City was imprisoned within the Dark Nebula, Deathsaurus has the Thunder Arrow as his backup starship vessel. The Thunder Arrow is equipped with four main cannons on the snout and guns mounted on deck and the sides of the ship, energy tunnels which allows them to enter an enemy ship while absorbing energy. The ship also comes with a Magnetic Field, which allows it to travel through intense areas like the Dark Nebula.
Orbital Satellite
In episode 30, Deathsaurus had enough of the Autobots continuously attempting to stop his troops from gathering energy, so he decided to build a new ultimate weapon. This Satellite launches a dud missile which upon impact, shoots out multiple smaller missiles to seperate locations at extremely high speed. Deathsaurus first showcased this weapon, by bombing Kathmandu in the north, Calcutta in the east, Bay of Bengal in the south and Deccan Plateau in the west, all at the same time. And no matter how fast they were, the missiles would always hit their targets before the autobots could have done anything. These super smart missiles that he himself had developed, would automatically be aimed and fired at the would the Autobots intervene with his plans.
Tracker
And to have made sure his plan would’ve worked, he himself also created a tracker that would follow Star Saber’s every movement, with its time lag being calculated perfectly.
Neutron Bomb
What’s with this man and explosives? Anyways, to succeed with their plan of stealing a 100,000 ton tanker filled with oil to get their Fortress out of the dark nebula, they decided to set up a neutron bomb that would be strong enough not only to destroy the entire city, but also kill the Autobots. The nuke can be activated with a simple press of a button through a remote.
Disruption Machines
They don’t really give these machines a name so I'll just name them what they do. In the episode; A fierce battle!!! The Asteroid. Deathsaurus created several machines that spread extremely thick gas across an entire asteroid belt which would cause a huge chain of spaceships to go missing. Thanks to this occurrence the belt was named “Devil Space Triangle”. According to Star Saber, what this powerful Gas does is that it makes the spaceships’ computers malfunction and makes them unable to be operated again. It was even powerful for Star Saber as well, It also caused the communication between Star Saber and his crew to get cut off before the smoke even reached him. After they are disrupted, the machines create a magnetic pull through electricity to pull the victim’s spaceships down towards them, so that they can use them for fuel.
Energy Alloys
Again in the episode A fierce battle!!! The Asteroid. The Decepticons were using the spaceship's fuel to create something called an Energy Alloy. A powerful substance that would be greatly used as a power source for the Decepticons. Besides using it as an energy source the Alloy can also be used as highly strong explosives. Deathsaurus stocked up a ton of these little bricks.
Drilling Machine
In the episode; Fight to the death! Antarctic Battle. The Decepticons created a drilling machine that allows them to drain the energy in Antarctica, which causes it to slowly get destroyed overtime. The energy is so strong however, it continuously creates electric blasts that destroy the area around the machine and creates electromagnetic radiation. And it gets stronger and more destructive overtime.
Planet-Destroying Fortress
The flying fortress is a massive structure created by Deathsaurus as his ultimate weapon to conquer the universe, and definitely lives up to its name as a planet destroyer. According to the official TV Magazine for Victory, the Fortress is 150 kilometers wide and 250 kilometers long. The dark fortress is mounted with bombs and laser cannons; a giant one for planet annihilating, which is a 15 kilometer sized Super-Gigantic Metal Life-Form Destroying Cannon, and other cannons that are deadly to even the Combiners. The fortress was so mighty that Star Saber couldn't handle being in its way. The Fortress also comes with meteors that can attack planets, causing massive damage on them. His wife Esmeral also lives there, along with his entire crew's family.
Battle Boosts
In Transformers Earth Wars, Battle Boosts can be cast in the middle of battle only once, but can increase the offense or defense of your team in battle.
Incendiary Barrage - Rain down an artillery battery of Incendiary shells on the battlefield dealing medium damage
Orbital Strike - Summon a powerful Orbital Strike from above dealing massive damage.

Prime Cores
In Transformers Earth Wars, the Thirteen Primes buried their Prime Cores in a desolate pocket dimension, but little did they know was that they'd break through said dimensional barriers through sheer force and crash land on Earth. Once discovered, it was a scrambling battle between the Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals, Terrorcons and more whether the Decepticons tried to claim their power and the Autobots trying to stop them. In lore, they have the power to manipulate and destroy the universe during the 2018 Falling Stars chapter, and as stated by Megatron himself that they wield “power beyond their imagination” during the Warpath and Skullsmasher Saga.
The Cores can corrupt others and be corrupted themselves, or can be turned into a force for life and growth. The Vector Prime Core can bend time and space, throwing those like Menasor in quantum resets by a few seconds and warp those through time like so with Goldfire; the Alchemist Prime Core can convert different metals and other elemental properties; Alpha Trion's core grants wisdom; Onyx Prime's boost stats; Liege Maximo's inflicts mind control by stripping away free will; Prima's Core is light, freedom and justice that can undo damage; Amalgamous and Micronus Cores can heal damage near instantaneously; the Megatronus Core burns those who wield it and is one of the most dangerous cores. But there is a cost in a way, holding all 12 will corrupt the user and that user is used as a vessel to unleash Unicron. As one of many playable characters in the game, Deathsaurus is no exception when it comes to using one of these. However he can only use one at a time, but that's more than likely a game mechanic. These are also what the Prime Cores do gameplay wise:
Liege Maximo: Grants hacking and hacking immunity for Deathsaurus for 15 seconds.
Micronus: Restores ally health every 5 seconds with regeneration rate being 2.4%.
Alchemist Prime: All of Deathsaurus's attacks heal him, draining health by 15%.
Alpha Trion: Deathsaurus gains 1 Ability Point every 35 [or at max level: 16] seconds.
Solus Prime: A turret is created every 15 seconds that has a percentage of Deathsaurus's health and damage lasting for 12 seconds.
Onyx Prime: Boosts Deathsaurus's attacks by 37% and reduces damage by 37%.
Amalgamous Prime: While in his Dragon Mode, all of Deathsaurus's attacks and restores health every 0.5 seconds.
Quintus Prime: Similar to the Solus Core but it's a Sharkticon which lasts for 7 seconds.
Nexus Prime: If you deploy before your Combiner deploys, your Combiner will deal a percentage of additional damage with all attacks. When the bot is equipped in battle, Combiners on defense now receive additional damage.
Prima Prime: Enemies hit by Deathsaurus's basic attacks take extra damage from all sources by 25% for 5 seconds.
Nemesis Titan
So in Earth Wars there are these beings named; Titans. Titans are large companions that help you take down an enemy base. As Deathsaurus is a Decepticon commander and Titan's are treated as accessories to the main bots he should be able to summon him. Though in the story they also have some weird powers. You see Titan’s are capable of passively creating Time Vortices just like the one Nova Prime can. These Time Vortices are able to send its victims far far away trapped forever just like it did with Optimus and Megatron. These Time Vortices can also influence your Temporal Molecules, which would make it so that the ones infected would not be able to go back to the past or future. It showcased The Ark (also a Titan), using Quantum energy to teleport into quantum space and straight up punch a hole into the fabric of space and time, which also allowed them to travel backwards or forwards in time. Besides all that Crazy Jumbo, The Nemesis Titan the Decepticons got is extremely helpful in combat. Here’s the list of abilities it has;

Zaur/Slugfest: Has health and can cause damage per second. Every 10 seconds, he fires a mini orbital strike, dealing 400% of the bot's DPS to enemy defenses.
Insecticon Clones
Deathsaurus would gather genetic codes from the Insecticons, Dirge and Buzzsaw, and create an ‘endless’ army of Virulent Insecticon clones for galactic domination. The clones are considered weaker than the cons they were clones from, however this was only the first batch,
The Forge of Solus Prime
One of the thirteenth named; Solus Prime’s very own weapon. This weapon has been described as a fusion of science and mythicism. The main ability of this hammer- besides beating the fuck out of people with it, is it’s ability to basically make anything out of anything. While its power is that of a miniature neutron star, its real power comes from the imagination of the user themselves. Whatever they believe in, they can make it happen, they can make the impossible possible (GASP SIMON THE DIGGER). Another big power this hammer has that it actually can draw any matter in just like a magnet! Then it can use said matter to mold it and give it a new form. Oh and another neat feature is that it’s actually completely protective of its user, So if you die in battle it’s capable of rejuvenating your very own spark (aka their soul).
In Gameplay Deathsaurus is one of the few Cybertronians who’s actually compatible with this forge, while using it in battle, Deathsaurus deals much more damage to his enemies, he also receives immunity to hacking and any emp shenanigans. He can also use it to slam down on the area dealing 150% DPS, stunning his opponents for 2 seconds and gain 25% healing of the damage he dealt on others. And just like how in it’s bio it said it could rejuvenate sparks, In gameplay it revives the both with 60% health when they're extremely close or are dead. While in game it’s only once per turn, that’s likely a game mechanic as normally you can revive with it much more times.
In lore things get a bit more spicy. You see Nova Prime created a huge time vortex that was causing time to unravel and would collapse all realities and timelines, remove all the borders and would create the great resetting. Making a single for Nova Prime to mold how he sees fit. With the Titans also somehow creating these vortices. These Vortices were going to be a massive problem however both Autobots and Decepticons had an idea. Legend has it that there was a certain weapon in Prime’s time that could do pretty much anything your imagination could conjure, sounds familiar? Yes it was the Forge. And it was going to work, however the Time Vortex continued expanding more and more, to the point it started resisting the forge and grew even bigger. So they summoned several Primes and Megatrons to use their very own imagination and seal all the time vortices and dislodged all the Titans. While it took all the Primes and Megatrons, the vortex would’ve been closed normally with the forge if the Time vortex didn’t get stronger and Nova intervening.
The Dark Star Saber
Fitting seeing how his main rival and archnemesis is Star Saber himself. The Dark Star Saber is a powerful sword that is the mirror of the legendary Star Saber, forged by the blood of Unicron himself, also known as Dark Energon and the Forge of Solus Prime. This blade is said to have a semi-sentience and is capable of possessing you even when you don't have the blade anymore, this blade also capable of choosing who is and isn't worthy of wielding it. Despite this, Deathsaurus is able to wield this blade without being controlled by it. The Dark Star Saber rips holes in Space and Time to summon Optimus Prime and Megatron from the past with 100% of his health. The Dark Star Saber can make massive strikes that are increased by 1.5x of the bot that is equipped along with increasing normal strikes by 32%. Besides that, the Dark Star Saber constantly generates a passive energy force field that blocks the wielder and their allies from all harm, may it be physical attacks like Flamewar's Inferno arrows or even esoteric powers like Tarn's outlier powers.
Similarly to what the Star Saber does, its power protected Metalhawk from dying inside the void, even after he threw it into a space-Time Portal and casted it out of the universe it still kept him alive through the void, meaning the saber's help and protect their users even when they don't have it with them. Oh it also gave him weird almost godlike powers after just wielding it once.
Now back to what Tarn's outlier power does is that it allows him with just his voice, to completely shut down sentient and non-sentient machinery. By speaking he can also simply make them explode, completely destroy their sparks or telekinetically rip them apart. All abilities that would ignore force fields and his durability yet the Dark Star Saber protected Deathsaurus from it even working on him.
Obviously The Dark Star Saber can do more than protect its user from all harm and some funny possession. It has been stated that it can pull anything they wanted from the past (and likely future) through simple thought. It's capable of cutting through space and time to create wormholes, launching energy slashes capable of launching others away, shoot out large beams of dark energon energy, make energy constructs and even though Starscream was seen unworthy by the blade, he was still able to send out a large blast of AoE using several bolts of Dark Energon to knock everyone out. The Dark Star Saber can also sense others, such as when it knew where the Star Saber, its opposite, was located The Star Saber itself was also able to sense what the Autobots seeked, The Forge of Solus. Something that was very well hidden.
It helps that the Dark Star Saber constantly powers the wielder's power and their combat skills up through simply just holding the damn thing. Obviously being made out of Dark Energon, it is also capable of causing Dark Energon poisoning but more on that later. It also helps that the blade is extremely powerful, being capable of splitting entire pyramids. Starscream has stated that with the Dark Star Saber he could conquer entire galaxies and it has been stated in Earth Wars to have accelerated the destruction of Metalhawk’s universe, with Metalhawk later confirming that Bomb-Burst (who was possessed by the Dark Star Saber) destroyed his entire universe, turning it into not just the void but it also was revealed that Metalhawk’s universe thanks to the DSS has been turned into a dead universe/Un-space. A place no living being can exist in (Except for a few, including Metalhawk due to the Star Saber).
Prima’s Star Saber, which is the DSS’ counterpart, was a powerful artifact wielded by Prima, it had been stated to be able to crust entire planets to dust and explode entire stars and the Dark Star Saber is even more powerful then this mighty blade. Makes sense as it in Prime was not only capable of breaking it, but also turning it into dust. Being not only this blade’s mirror but also its superior, it should be able to have the same abilities. The Star Saber is also capable of cutting right through atoms with keen accuracy and also sunder entire mountains. Just like the Dark Star Saber, it's capable of twisting other's mind to serve it, but not just that, it's also capable of consuming the wielder's spark if used wrong or simply trying to insinuate in one's spark. And if not trained right, the Star saber can leave a master scar on your soul. It's likely not just against the user though, it's possible the Star Saber and in return the Dark Star Saber, are both capable of damaging and destroying/consuming the souls of their opponents as well. Which does come inline with what Dark Energon can do.
Well enough beating around the bush, as we all know The Dark Star Saber is made out of Dark Energon and is capable of releasing blasts of it or infecting others with it, poisoning them badly. Dark Energon poisoning does several things; It’s capable of completely sapping away their victim’s strength and is able to weaken and damage their arsenal, such as armor. Prolonged exposure to it can cause extreme weakness and even death. It’s even more brutal to organic beings, the slightest interaction with it can cause them to be near death. It can also corrupt other energy sources, things like Energon can get darkened and turned into more Dark Energon. It’s been stated several times that Dark Energon destroys anything it touches, even a small portion was capable of causing an entire station to explode. Even when a civilization tried to harness the power of some Dark Energon, their planet got destroyed, which makes sense seeing how it was stated that Unicron’s essence (which is dark energon), can completely destroy physical existence. Dark Energon also causes Entropic side effects, eating away any substance it comes in contact with, it also doesn’t help that it also affects every single molecule in your body.
The poison of Dark Energon, doesn’t just mess with your physical body however, it’s evil also affects your mind, capable of turning you into a mindless brute. It also messes with your perception badly, making you see things that’s not there or mess with your perception of time and space, making you think you’re in a loop, a different area or think items have disappeared out of nowhere. Lastly, it's also capable of infecting your soul and those who have consumed too much of it, forcing their soul to not be able to go into the afterlife and keeping them tied down to Unicron’s Dark Spark. Oh and it can also create souls and stuff.
So it’s obviously an extremely handy blade to have, and seeing he mastered it, should have no problem using it.
Abilities
King Ghidorah
Daikaiju Physiology
Being said Daikaiju, King Ghidorah by default is gifted with vast superhuman strength, durability, senses and speed; being highly resistant if not immune to conventional weaponry and being more destructive than real world natural disaster. King Ghidorah is able to freely manipulate energy whether it be absorption or firing energy beams of destruction. King Ghidorah proudly stands as one of the largest Godzilla kaiju, standing over one hundred and thirty meters tall and weighing up to 141,056 tons. Naturally fitting as an alien, has a much more unique biology compared to other kaiju; coming with a stomach potent enough to digest entire stars and comets to convert them into energy, horns that act as a radar to detect lifeforms from lightyears away and can utilize telepathy, an anti-gravity generator, poison gas bags, and an internal “battery” that lets Ghidorah freely manipulate gravity, space-time and can create black holes even as a Dorat. It also helps that King Ghidorah’s necks and tails are almost snake-like, with him being able to wrap his necks around other Kaiju to strangle them. His tails meanwhile can be used to rattle like that of a Rattlesnake to act as an intimidation display and are even prehensile, Ghidorah being able to use them to wrap around, grab other Kaiju with them or just slash them open. His neck muscles are so strong that in the video games Godzilla Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla Save the Earth, and Godzilla Unleashed, he can use his two necks and heads like arms to lift other Kaiju over his head to toss them around like they weighed nothing, or if he feels like getting more physical, just straight up punching stuff with them, that must give a major headache. And lastly, in his depiction in Godzilla King of the Monsters, his body is somewhat composed of gold, which allows him to absorb electricity, and in Unleashed it makes all attacks “splinter” against his skin. His extraordinarily large wings generate anti-gravity and hurricane winds strong enough to blow away Godzilla and Zone Fighter.
Gravity Beams
What good would a massive Space Dragon be without some serious firepower? King Ghidorah’s most iconic power is his famous Gravity Beams. While they may look like your ordinary lightning beams and whilst they have electrical properties, they do much more than just give anything that looks at him the wrong way a Kaiju-Sized taser shot. They can destroy molecular bonds and like their name suggests, he can use them to mess with gravity itself. Such as being able to pick up buildings and fling them around with ease, or if he wants to apply it more destructively he can destroy a target's own gravity, or accurately target much smaller victims. Without gravity holding the target's body together anymore, they’d pretty much just fall apart. It’s been shown in multiple incarnations that these beams can rival Godzilla’s very own Atomic Breath in terms of power, and if that’s not enough he can cross the beams into one big powerful blast. In Godziban, Ghidorah's beams can grab targets and throw them similar to his Keizer counterpart.
Electrokinesis
If zapping enemies with beams isn’t enough, Ghidorah has a couple other ways he can manipulate electricity in a battle. He can shock opponents with his bites, release lightning all around him, and release a large explosive energy sphere known as the Big Spark Ball. Ghidorah is also bio-electrical in nature.
Magnetism & Gravity Manipulation
Certain versions of the space monster has complete control over magnetism. As previously mentioned, the Gravity Beams are beams of purely concentrated gravity in energy form and being able to do what gravity does in its namesake. In his debut film, while he was inside a meteor, metal pickaxes were naturally attracted to him. In Zone Fighter, King Ghidorah warped gravity as well as magnetizing his surroundings resulting in floating cars shown above. In Godzilla Domination, Ghidorah emits a magnetic field to pull in and damage enemies when coming in contact with Ghidorah. As an alternative for the Gravity Beams, King Ghidorah would also fire magnetic beams as an attack. He too can emit anti-gravity. Like a wise man once said, “Magnets, how do they even work?”
Fireballs
King Ghidorah in his Cretaceous state can spew explosive fireballs. Don’t ask why he never uses this power again though.
Allergen Blast
Aller-Ghidorah can emit a cloud of allergens from his mouth. Ignore the part where he looks nothing like an average Ghidorah.
Poison Manipulation
King Ghidorah can inflict toxins on his foes with either numbing fangs, poison gas bags which can drive one insane and/or his venomous scales alone.
Energy Absorption
One common ability amongst several different incarnations of King Ghidorah is his energy absorption powers. When he clamps down onto anything with his three heads, he can absorb energy from his target and transfer it to himself for a power boost. He’s used this ability whilst trying to strangle Godzilla during 1991’s Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, whilst lifting the colossal Godzilla Earth during Godzilla Planet Eater as Void Ghidorah reverted Scarlet Godzilla back to his normal form, and when he was trying to take the absorbed power Mothra gave Godzilla to use for himself during Godzilla King of the Monsters. He doesn't have to just bite targets to steal their power, King Ghidorah’s scales by themselves can absorb energy, and his liver and stomach can decompose and convert cosmic energy to bioenergy for himself, which would also actually happen when exposed to a city busting electro-bomb and used its power to oneshot Godzilla.
Forcefield
Ghidorah has had many force fields across his years of media. In Rebirth of Mothra 3, Ghidorah's scales manipulate light from projectiles to form a barrier. In GMK, Ghidorah gained the ability to generate an energy barrier around himself. He can also shoot this barrier at an opponent like a giant fireball, offense is the best defense after all. In the Godzilla Vs Evangelion: The Real 4-D Universal Studios ride, King Ghidorah has a passive invisible barrier that deflected Shin Godzilla's photon beam and would have an identical shield in the 5th Godzilla Fest short film.
Possession
After his death in GMK, Ghidorah’s spirit was able to enter Godzilla and drag him down into the ocean allowing the humans to defeat him. In Godzilla Vs Kong, Ghidorah managed to hijack and possess Mechagodzilla with his spirit's rage overriding the entire system through telepathy and electrocuting Ren Serizawa in the process.
Teleportation
King Ghidorah can teleport others around his vicinity into another location like his Dome for example by the thousands. Ghidorah did this by kidnapping thousands of children to feed off their lifeforce.
Invisibility
King Ghidorah can briefly become invisible by shaking his wings at a high frequency, allowing him to evade an opponent's attacks and catch them off-guard with his own. Only downside is that he's still tangible.
Regeneration
Fittingly for a hydra, King Ghidorah has shown many examples of regeneration. Showa King Ghidorah immediately heals his necks after Zone Fighter broke them. The MonsterVerse King Ghidorah could regenerate his entire head when it was bitten off in a matter of moments, and can regenerate holes in his wings in the blink of an eye. He has also regenerated from being impaled by Destoroyah's horn, which destroys molecules. But his regeneration doesn’t stop there. When Cretaceous Ghidorah got his tail blown off by Mothra Leo 64,000,000 years ago in the Cretaceous period, King Ghidorah regenerated from said blown off tail piece and flew into modern times, despite having been erased from history at this point. This same Ghidorah can reform from just a severed wing as stated in the Rebirth of Mothra 3 Super Complete Works.
Flight
Wow, holy crap the dragon with big ass wings can fly (shocking I’m aware). With his wings King Ghidorah is a master of flight, being able to fly with ease throughout both Earth’s atmosphere and space. If he’s feeling daring that day, King Ghidorah can invite himself onto your planet whilst either being encased within a Meteorite or a giant Diamond.
Alpha Call
After Godzilla was knockin on death’s door during the middle part of Godzilla King of the Monsters due to the Oxygen Destroyer, King Ghidorah became the Alpha Titan and with a mighty screech from atop an erupting volcano, commanded all the other Titans around the globe to start destroying and causing havoc across Earth. These titans included the likes of Rodan, Tiamat, Behemoth, Scylla, and several others. However, other Alpha Titans such as Mothra and Kong were unaffected by the Alpha Call and thus weren’t under King Ghidorah’s beck and call.
Telepathy/Mind Manipulation
Showa Ghidorah uses telepathy to locate planets. In Rebirth of Mothra 3, King Ghidorah installs minor mind control, although it mainly works for those with soft of hearts. The MonsterVerse Ghidorah, although dead during Godzilla Vs Kong, triggered a ‘Psychic Rage’ that transcends space-time, overpowered the AI and hijacked Mechagodzilla regardless of it having an active pilot or not.
Possible Illusion Creation
Titans of the MonsterVerse have bizarre effects in their environment causing things like hallucinations and maybe more.
Atmokinesis
King Ghidorah simply existing too hard can manipulate and screw with the weather. Him flapping his wings can create country-spanning storms throughout the world itself as well as create a localized Category 6 Hurricane wherever he goes. His electroreceptors being part of his biology causes water vapor to overheat, thus creating said storms. In the Godzilla King of the Monsters novelization, it was stated that this alone would’ve caused the extinction of the human race without the other titans as the Stratosphere would be torn open by otherworldly tempests of thunder and lightning.
Time Travel
Ghidorah flew millions of years into the future as seen in Rebirth of Mothra 3.
Resurrection
In Godzilla Defense Force, when King Ghidorah dies, another Ghidorah will return to battle through space-time vortices and replace the previous Ghidorah that's fallen in battle due to his presence throughout history, even when they're supposed to be completely vaporized they will resurrect stronger than before. This applies to every other monster in the game. The game features monsters from different eras/time periods with the EDF questioning on how these monsters keep showing up. The limit on how many times Ghidorah can revive is unknown.
King Ghidorah’s True Nature
In truth, King Ghidorah comes not only from beyond our planet, but beyond our dimension. Long ago, Ghidorah evolved past the need for a physical body, and thus became a being of pure energy. This new Ghidorah now unbound by a body was also unbound by our measly three dimensions, and found a new home in a higher plane of reality. With this new power came new limitations however, since the true form of King Ghidorah could no longer interact with our lower dimension, he has to send down avatars of himself to get the job done instead, these avatars are forced to abide by the physics of the dimensions they enter but are nonetheless still powerful foes. Their mere presence within our dimension warps the fabric of space, time, and gravity along with eroding reality. These avatars can be infinite in size with the true Ghidorah seemingly being larger than infinity, which is surely useful since they consume not only planets, but stars and eventually the entire universe. Additionally, as with most true forms, killing the avatars won’t accomplish much, unless the real King Ghidorah is defeated, it’s avatars conquest of the universe will never stop. With that let’s discuss the abilities these avatars and naturally their true form would have.
Shadow Consumption
King Ghidorah is able to use its shadow to consume the shadows of others. Through doing this, the damage inflicted via shadow is reflected on the victim’s body, ignoring their durability entirely.
Space-Time Manipulation
King Ghidorah’s mere existence is enough to warp the very fabric of Space and Time and corrode reality itself. He can use this space manipulation to deflect attacks, like when Godzilla Earth’s planet busting atomic breath warped around it due to King Ghidorah’s Super Gravity. Ghidorah can also mess with time as well as space, creating time loops and causing time to flow out of order. This ability also allows it to manipulate and make technology go haywire.
Interdimensional Travel
Using the singularities he creates, Ghidorah can travel across dimensions consuming planets and energy. With the assistance of its cult and specific stones, Ghidorah is able to keep its higher dimensional physics when interacting with lower ones. However, without said assistance, its avatars will adjust to the physics of whatever dimension he is in.
Super Gravity
King Ghidorah can freely control gravity and beyond; swallowing and destroying thousands of stars through super gravity. Super Gravity for instance is a field theory on the combination of the principles of supersymmetry and general relativity. A unique force that exceeds the dimensional laws of the universe. In other words Ghidorah is able to warp 4th dimensional framework at the bare minimum.
Resistances
Radioactivity - King Ghidorah is constantly exposed to extreme radiation of the universe (and Godzilla), eating them or weaponizing them.
Extreme Temperatures - King Ghidorah has been shown to be able to survive in the harshest conditions in the universe, from icy wastelands, to volcanic wastelands, and literal space. Was able to withstand absolute zero attacks and the heat of many stars.
Electricity - King Ghidorah is resistant if not outright immune to electrical attacks (I know, insane). Not only does King Ghidorah naturally emit lightning, but he also gets fueled by it, the more electricity he absorbs, the stronger he gets.
Poison - Was unaffected by Anguirus's poisonous spines.
Corrosion - Unaffected from being touched by Hedorah who dissolves targets with simple touches.
Mind Manipulation - Resisted mind control from Mallory and Minette, who were strong enough to telepathically burn out an army of soldiers with a thought and enslave Rodan and Battra. Xillian mind control devices would take advantage of everyone else including Godzilla, but Ghidorah was immune and could only be kept at bay with a “secure frequency”.
Void Manipulation - Void Ghidorah’s true form can move freely inside one.
Anti-Matter(?) - Resisted energy attacks from SpaceGodzilla whose crystals are stated to contain “antimatter black hole energy”.
Durability & Regeneration Negation - Across many stories, Ghidorah has encountered and has taken hits from Destoroyah, who possesses the abilities of the Oxygen Destroyer which isolates oxygen molecules and splits them, completely dissolving both living beings and inanimate objects almost instantly. In the MonsterVerse he too was exposed to the Oxygen Destroyer and was left entirely intact. King Ghidorah took hits from his own Gravity Beams and was fine. He usually tanks Godzilla's heat ray which also works on a sub-atomic state, and survived Kiryu's Absolute Zero Cannon. Lastly, the super monster's ability to create black holes and travel through them shows he's immune to their effects; black holes tear matter down to its most fundamental sub-atomic components. They also consume information of things they devour known as the ‘Black Hole Information Paradox’, by real life scientists, it is impossible according to quantum research as information should be impossible to be created or destroyed in the universe. Void’s black holes would also tear down space-time. King Ghidorah being the mightiest would just make him upscale them, which means he has resistances to Gravity Manipulation, Corrosion, Matter/Molecular/Atomic Manipulation & Destruction, Spatial & Quantum Manipulation.
Deathsaurus
Cybertronian Physiology
Cybertronians are a species of Robotic Aliens, with some continuities depicting them as biomechanical, but in the original cartoon, more or less robots. Cybertronians are powered by Energon, an energy source that's found on their home planet Cybertron, which powers them and their technology. It can be consumed in many ways, including eating and drinking. Cybertronians are also powered by Cybertronium, which is a material that allows them to function properly.
The most important part of Cybertronians however are their sparks. Though the specifics change from continuity to continuity, a spark is for all intents and purpose, the soul of Cybertronians. It's what separates Cybertronians from mere machines, as characters have gotten their bodies destroyed but under very specific circumstances were restored after preserving their spark, showing how this is the most fundamental aspect of their being.
Throughout Transformers, there's different types of sub-factions which are identified by what kind of bot they are. For Deathsaurus in particular, he's a part of the Breastforce, a faction that's equipped with a Breast Animal that they can unleash from their (sighs) breasts. Besides that Deathsaurus’ body has a few neat little features. He’s capable of launching his wings out of his body like cutters and instantly regenerate them back, He’s capable of extending his wings or other body parts to attack his opponents, he’s also able to launch missiles from his body, shoot lasers from the tip of his tail and obviously being a dragon, breathe fire.
Flight
A very common thing to not just flyers like Deathsaurus, but Decepticons in general as they originally were meant to be the faction that's able to fly though constantly ignored throughout the og Cartoons. Deathsaurus can fly whether it’s in robot mode or beast mode. A unique ability to Deathsaurus is that he can use his Wing Cutters to convert sunlight into dark energy that can corrode any type of metal and plunges it into his enemy
Subspace Storage
You ever wondered how a character can just pull a weapon or tool out of the air or their ass? Well in Transformers, there's a canonical explanation in the form of Subspace Storage. The idea was originally a fan-made concept explaining how Transformers can summon weapons out of thin air, but it has since been made a canon explanation during the 2000s. Subspace Storage is a form of the usage of transwarp. Subspace Storage allows Transformers to “store” their items in a pocket area of reality called Unspace. Transformers use transwarp to summon their weapons, with it being connected by their energy that keeps it there. Deathsaurus uses Substance Storage to pull his weapons out of thin air.
Energy Absorption
Not just a Deathsaurus exclusive ability, Cybertronians in general are able to absorb energy via energy absorbers, which allows them to refuel themselves. Deathsaurus himself has been able to absorb energy from that of a forest fire, but other Cybertronians have been able to absorb electricity, lava, and plasma energy from an exploding planet.
Fire Manipulation
Fittingly for a robot dragon, Deathsaurus can manipulate fire. Not only can he absorb fire, he can also create a fire blast to attack foes with.
Wormhole Creation
Deathsaurus is able to create a wormhole to travel across long distances, which is also able to leave people in shock for how fucking awesome it looks.
Creation
Deathsaurus literally doesn't do this ever again but can just randomly create things like food and toys with a lift of a finger as seen above. He’s also a Nintendo fan apparently, which is based…depending on who you ask…
Electricity Manipulation
Deathsaurus is capable of controlling lightning to fry any worms who dare stand up to him, he can even have it emit from his sword as seen above.
Blazing Storm
In Earth Wars, Deathsaurus charges in and releases a huge energy burst stunning enemies for 6 seconds while dealing damage.
Resistances
Biological Manipulation - Due to being a robot, besides diseases that are meant to affect machinery, Cybertronians are immune to biological effects.
Mind and Soul Manipulation - Resisted the temptations of the Dark Star Saber, which was still able to hold lingering effects on previous users
Possession - Was unaffected by The Dark Star Saber trying to possess him.
Minor Antimatter - Cybertronians have survived a Antimatter Bomb
Gravity Manipulation - Scorponok and other Decepticons are able to act normally next to a black hole
Matter Manipulation - Cybertronians like Ginrai and Grand Maximus have been able to survive Black Holes
Corrosion - Cybertronians can endure Pyra Magna’s Corrosion Cannon, which can weaken enemy armor’s molecular structure and bring their gears to a grinding halt
Electricity Manipulation - Skrapnel’s electric beam is described as not being able to do much damage to Cybertronians
Fire and Heat Manipulation - Fellow Cybertronians in Earth Wars can endure Slug’s fire, which is stated to reach up to 3,000 degrees centigrade plus and can reduce enemies into molten slag
Acid Manipulation - Several Cybertronians, such as Mixmaster or Viper, can fire off acid that Cybertronians can endure the pain of.
Forms
King Ghidorah
Dorats
Bioengineered to be the future's perfect pets, these buggers would eventually become the vile King Ghidorah after an attempt to erase Godzilla from history proved fruitless, accidentally leaving three Dorats on Lagos Island just when the nuclear tests ensued; once drenched in radiation, the Dorats gained the ability to fuse into Ghidorah. They don't really serve much in the movie, but in other media like Godziban, all three can individually travel through time for only three minutes and are surprisingly extraordinary fighters (or meat shields) in Godzilla Battle Line. They can sense emotions, utilize psychokinesis and unleash a bolt of lightning known as the Dorat Beam. The Dorats could just transform into their Ghidorah form at any time.
Tyrant/Critical Mass
The Tyrant of Godzilla Unleashed is a powered-up status that gives the monsters more damage and endurance with the cost of reducing defenses. King Ghidorah reaches critical mass when he's absorbed more power than he can handle from the Crystal Power Surges. His size would be doubled and power increased threefold. Tyrant Mode would become Ghidorah's new base form during his Tyrant ending of the game. Normally Tyrants usually last for about a minute, but if Ghidorah continues to inflict more damage to enemies this form will last much longer, even in gameplay. All Tyrants would still utilize the Power Surges’ special abilities the same as before.
Mecha-King Ghidorah
After being defeated in a battle with Godzilla, the gravely injured but still living King Ghidorah was brought to the 23rd century to be healed and outfitted with body armor and a brand new head in order to save Japan from Godzilla’s rampage in the past. In addition to having the time machine KIDS embedded inside his body. He is also equipped with multiple long range cables that can grapple onto his opponents and give them a good shock of electricity. His armor is also durable enough to take multiple hits from Godzilla’s atomic breath although it does eventually give out and Mecha King Ghidorah would yet again be blasted into the ocean by the giant nuclear dinosaur. At least he took Godzilla for a swim with him this time!
Mecha-King Ghidorah is equipped with MASER Cannons, rockets and other forms of blasters; the Machine Head, a massive arm emerging from Ghidorah's chest to paralyze his opponents; a forcefield as seen the Pipeworks series; can teleport in the Banpresto arcade; total invincibility in Save the Earth; eye lasers that shrink targets in Monsters & Protectors; and with KIDS, he can of course time travel through time warps. The cyborg dragon has anti-gravity armor bits on his legs that let him fly, not his wings funnily enough. They serve as solar panels letting him stay airborne even after his wings are badly damaged. In the Shogakukan manga adaptation of Godzilla Vs Mechagodzilla 2, Mecha-King had his own “virus” which hijacked and took control over Super Mechagodzilla resulting in the Mecha disemboweling Godzilla. In Godzilla Domination, Mecha King Ghidorah drove the Earth's monsters into madness from spreading magnetic waves from his meteor. Including King Ghidorah…don’t ask.
Mecha-Dorat
They have the same stuff as Mecha-King Ghidorah and can fuse to become him, and yes this thing is real.
Deathsaurus
Dragon Mode
He may look like an intergalactic space chicken, but this form should not be underestimated. Transforming into a bird-like dragon, Deathsaurus is still able to use his weapons, can launch his wings as projectiles, extend his back parts to use for attacking, fire Lasers from his tail, and breathe fire like a continuous beam.
Kingsaurus
In the manga Transformers Victory Issue 8: “Victory Saber is Strong!”, after being humiliated by the combination dubbed Victory Saber in a violent battle, Deathsaurus sought out a way to get payback; he built a giant Cybertronian-sized Mecha for Solon called ‘King Solon’ to let him feel like a true Decepticon. King Solon and Deathsaurus would combine and become Kingsaurus. Kingsaurus's power was mighty as it was able to match Victory Saber in combat whereas Deathsaurus was previously treated more like a joke in comparison. Their combination's true source of power, as explained by Star Saber, comes from familial bonds, like with his relationship with Victory Leo, and Deathsaurus with his cyborg son Solon.
Wings Universe Body
In Transformers Wings, Deathsaurus’ body is a redeco of the 2001 Robots in Disguise Megatron body. This body gives Deathsaurus a total of 6 modes to go into: Robot Mode, Vehicle Mode, Jet Mode, Dragon Mode, Gargoyle Mode and Hand Mode. This body allows his wings to convert light energy to dark energy, which corrodes any type of metal.

Scaling
King Ghidorah
Godzilla
King Ghidorah is the King of the Monsters’ uncontested archenemy, as the Emperor of the Cosmos is near-universally portrayed as physically superior to the Big G in their numerous brawls. Even the times where King Ghidorah is Godzilla’s inferior, such as in GMK or Godzilla VS Kong, the gap isn’t that big to justify him not scaling. Thus, scaling Ghidorah to Godzilla is a no-brainer.
Destroyed Hell's version of Earth in a beam clash with SpaceGodzilla, which was confirmed by IDW officials to be another layer of Hell.
A single cell from Godzilla was able to survive a full trip inside a black hole that later created SpaceGodzilla.
Either stalemated or defeated Yamata No Orochi and Utsuno Ikusagami in an official battle simulation, who both can destroy planets from battling Godzilla and Tsukuyomi broke Ikusagami's Time-Space Sky Wave with his fire breath.
Blasted through a space-time barrier between the surface and the Hollow Earth with his heat ray in Godzilla Vs Kong (611,841 Zettatons of TNT)
Tanks the gravitational forces of the Hollow Earth and Axis Mundi Vile Vortex which were described as eruptions of real Gamma Ray Bursts and Black Holes. His Evolved state would only eclipse the vortices even further as its energy levels were the strongest ever recorded.
Godzilla survived SpaceGodzilla landing on him like a meteor.
His meltdown was compared to the Big Bang.
Mothra and Other Divine Moths
Outside of the Big G himself, the foe King Ghidorah just loves to run hands (or in this case heads) with are Mothra and other members of the Divine Moths. There are numerous continuities where King Ghidorah or a member of the Ghidorah race are shown to be stronger then Mothra/Other Divine Moths. Such as in Godzilla King of the Monsters, King Ghidorah annihilates Mothra with little effort or when Monster X mopped the floor with Mothra, so on and so forth.
Mothra:
In Mothra’s Larval form, their silk can apprehend Godzilla in several incarnations.
Heisei Mothra and Battra were strong enough to either redirect or blow up a planet destroying asteroid.
Heisei Mothra could fly beyond our Solar System in 2 years.
Battra:
His larval form survived being slammed into the Earth’s crust by Godzilla so hard they caused underwater volcanoes to erupt.
Mothra Leo:
Uses the energy of the universe to seal away Desghidorah (Universal)
Mothra Leo can knock the 17,000 ton Dagahra out of the sky.
Mothra Leo uses his Light Speed form to travel back in time through sheer speed (Immeasurable)
MechaMothra:
Fought a horde of Ghidorahs in an alternate future, enduring their attacks at once and killing at least one until eventually getting overwhelmed by both Desghidorah, Keizer Ghidorah and the rest of the horde.
The Moths’ battle against the Ghidorah Clan nearly wiped out all life on Earth in the Rebirth of Mothra trilogy. They had to use universal power just to seal Desghidorah away.
The Ghidorah Clan
King Ghidorah would be deemed the universe’s emperor, but there would be other members who may also be deemed superior, whether they're more fierce or actual leaders, enter Desghidorah and Monster X. Even in the King of the Monsters novelization, King Ghidorah was once claimed to be the runt of the litter. However, this doesn't mean that King Ghidorah is a pushover compared to the two; he's battled Desghidorah and matched him, and has also bested foes who've gotten stronger overtime like Rainbow Mothra and the Godzilla from the IDW Trilogy, putting him above that version of Keizer Ghidorah as well.
Desghidorah:
He was so powerful that his fight between the race of Mothras wiped out the dinosaurs and most of the Elias race. The shield of Elias can gather energy of the universe.
While well fed, Desghidorah can destroy the universe. It's stated that if he drains Earth of its life, which Earth's life holds the energy of the universe, he'd immediately gain that power (Universal)
Monster X:
Possesses cosmic power and created a massive explosion from a beam struggle between Godzilla and SpaceGodzilla.
Wipes out the dinosaurs with his meteors.
The MechaGodzillas and SpaceGodzilla
It’s not only the natural version of Godzilla that King Ghidorah will gladly battle it out with, King Ghidorah has battled multiple variants of the Big G’s mechanical doppelganger, MechaGodzilla and even Godzilla’s out of this world counterpart, the almighty SpaceGodzilla! Ghidorah should have no problem scaling to SpaceGodzilla since he's personally had beef with him and had no difficulty injuring him in the past, not to mention some cases where Ghidorah was declared superior anyway like in Unleashed.
SpaceGodzilla:
Was born from a Godzilla cell that fell into a Black Hole and was bombarded by Supernovas.
His birth also resulted in illuminating the universe.(293-587 quadrillion c)
Even while wounded, SpaceGodzilla could toss the 160,000 ton MOGUERA with his tail.
Tanks Kiryu’s Absolute Zero Cannon, which freezes targets on a Molecular Level.
Would also control supergravity (at least 4D)
MechaGodzilla (Showa, Heisei & Kiryu)
Showa MechaGodzilla held his own against Godzilla and King Caesar tag teaming him for a while.
Super MechaGodzilla paralyzes Godzilla with his harpoons.
Kiryu’s Absolute Zero Cannon easily froze a Trilopod version of Baragon and incapacitated Destoroyah.
Battle Line (Debatable)
Currently Toho's only successful mobile game, Battle Line, as mentioned before, had numerous collaborations with other IP's and counting, like any mobile game. Everyone in the game are heavily based on the original versions they're based on through their bios/seasonal events like Evangelion, The Mysterians, Singular Point, The MonsterVerse, the Gamera series, and so forth. Since this is solely an officially licensed Godzilla game only, it should still be somewhat valid for King Ghidorah to scale with said guests and the rest of the roster who he’s rarely met before.
MonsterVerse Titans:
Shimo freezes half the world during the last Ice Age and is treated as a world ender.
Skar King's Ape Army nearly kills Godzilla. Apes, together, strong.
Gamera:
Unfazed from colliding with an asteroid (Showa)
Destroys Atlantis, with said city being so large it's visible from space (Heisei)
Pierces through the moon with his Orylium Beam (Rebirth)
Evangelion (Rebuilds):
Shinji/Eva-01 nearly starts the Third Impact which would have killed all life on Earth.
Matched Eva-13 who dove across a huge amount of the Anti-Universe in seconds.
Shin Ultraman:
With the Beta Capsule, transferred Zetton's fireball heat creating a 6th dimensional black hole to the Planck Brane dimension in a millisecond with Lipiah getting dragged into it (6D)
Ultraman's power is stemmed from the Planck Brane dimension, which is a 5th dimensional space which all users of the Beta System utilize including those like Mefilas and Zetton (5D)
Zetton's Trillion Degree Fireball would've erased 200 lightyears of 3D space in a single attack (168.42 PetaFOE)
Shin Kamen Rider:
Hongo creates a big explosion from just jumping off a plane.
His Cyclone created a miniature black hole, deleting most of Kamen Rider Zero's throne.
Him and Ichimonji tanked a barrage of black holes right before the final fight.
Other Toho Reps:
Varan can crush buildings with his weight.
The GOTENGO pierces the Xilian mothership whereas Godzilla couldn't before.
Godzilla Ultima is a higher dimensional singularity that would destroy the universe, with his Archetype denying the universe’s existence through paradoxes (Universal+-4D). (Note that this is specifically from the anime of Godzilla Singular Point and not the novelization)
Misc. Adversaries
Being one of the top tiers in the Godzilla catalogue means that King Ghidorah should scale to several other Kaiju that can perform some insane feats, such as…
Gigan can uproot mountains and dry up Lake Riwa with his eye laser (16.93 Teratons)
Gigan could fly from Space Hunter M Nebula to Earth within minutes on more than one occasion (81.319 million c to over 640 million c)
Zone Fighter disposes of Dorola, who is a 4th Dimensional reality warping Terror Beast that can create 4D spaces through his gasses (4D)
Zone Fighter flies into 4D space via Astro Dash (Immeasurable???)
King Kong shook the Earth's axis in his fight with Godzilla, ended up rocking the Japanese Archipelago during their climax.
Orga could pick up and tear the 160,000 ton MOGUERA in half.
Orga's spaceship form can keep up with the Vortaak carriers (179 thousand c)
Deathsaurus
Star Saber
Star Saber is one of the most powerful Autobots to grace the G1 World, one who has clashed with Deathsaurus so often that they’re very much archenemies. In addition, Star Saber is one of the very few Autobots that will cause Deathsaurus to get up from his throne and enter the fight, further proving that he should scale. He's also almost killed Saber before, only being stopped by an outside force or just running out of power
Has taken down multiple Decepticons in a single hit
Can gather the energy of an entire planet into his blade (Planet Level)
Victory Saber is a combination of Saber and Victory Leo
Victory Leo has bullets that can create Black Holes
Survived an explosion that was going to destroy ⅓ of a planet (Small Planet Level)
Survived blowing up the Planet Destroying Fortress
Barely survived a planet exploding (Planet Level)
Travels to another Galaxy (5.26 Trillions c)
Autobot Leaders
Deathsaurus has directly killed an Autobot Leader, that being Ginrai, and he's frequently on par with Star Saber. Star Saber directly defeated an opponent that Optimus and Primal struggled against as Victory Saber. Saber is also said to be superior to Ginrai. Star Saber also fights Lio Convoy, who has an Energon Matrix
Optimus Prime Convoy/Star Convoy:
Combining his power with Megatron, was able to destroy a Black Hole that was summoned by Starscream
Unleashed the Matrix's energy, which traveled across the galaxy in a short timeframe (73 Trillions C)
As Star Convoy, is powered by the Zodiac, which is equal to the big bang (Uni+)
It's also equal to the Silver Matrix, which can create universes (Multi-Universal At Least)
It's also stated to be greater than the Matrix
While as Optimus Maximus, was able to launch Unicron's head
Unicron at this time was implied to be tough enough to survive the collapse of the multiverse (Multi+)
Rodimus Prime Convoy:
Opened the Matrix of Leadership inside Unicron's body, which caused him to blow up
In TF Cloud, the explosion was confirmed to have shook the universe
In Kiss Players, the blast sent Unicron's fragments across Space Time, including the Future (Immeasurable)
Fortress Maximus:
Master Sword was able to match a Plasma Energy missile which caused an explosion
Survived Mars’ explosion (Planet Level)
Survives the energy of Five Death Towers which threatened the planet (Planet Level)
Ginrai:
Survived the detonation of a Black Hole (See Scorponok Section)
Has greater power than Solar Energy as Super Ginrai
Fire Convoy/Super Fire Convoy/Fire God Convoy:
Was able to freeze the top of a volcano
Survived a drop that cratered the ground
Almost Each Autobot Leader was able to power up Optimus to Star Convoy in order battle Dark Nova, who had the Zodiac (Multi+-5D)
Decepticon Leaders
Deathsaurus was stated to be the strongest Decepticon Leader during his time, he has defeated Greatshot, who in Legends turns out to be an upgraded Sixshot. Sixshot could fight Ultra Magnus, who directly fought Galvatron. Deathsaurus has killed Ginrai who's fought Overlord. For scaling to later leaders, established before, Deathsaurus is able to battle Victory Saber, who's able to match Lio Convoy who had an Energon Matrix
Megatron/Galvatron:
Created a massive explosion with a single shot of his Fusion Cannon
Survived an explosion that pushed Cybertron out of orbit (137 Yottatons of TNT)
Blows up Planet Thull with a single shot (4.12 Ronnatons of TNT)
Survived Cybertron blowing up
As Golden Megatron, he threatened to merge the multiverse into one (see Before the Verdict)
Scorponok/Zarak:
Transtector's claws can destroy mountains (Mountain Level)
Destroyed Planet Zarak while it was powering up
Threatened to destroy the Universe with a Black Hole by detonating it (Uni+)
Created a Black Hole that was sucking in stars (26.5 FOE to 28.8 GigaFOE)
Devil Z:
Survived a blast from the Harmony
⅔ of the Harmony is able to shake a city
The Harmony is able to destroy meteors in outer space
The Harmony is also one of the causes of temporal anomalies, which is affecting space and time
Gigatron
Was able to create an earthquake that caused lava break to through the Cybertron-Net walls which threatened to destroy it
The Cybertron-Net is a global highway that's connected to everywhere around the world
Survived a massive explosion during a clash against Fire God Convoy
Final Clash with Fire God Convoy made an explosion visible from space
Combiners
Combiners have been consistently depicted as superior to normal bots, however Star Saber has directly fought Combiners as either regular or Victory Saber. He’s fought the likes of Liokaiser and Dinoking, the formerly mentioned has defeated multiple combiners in the Victory cartoon like Road Caesar. Deathsaurus is comparable to Saber so it's quite obvious why he scales. Saber himself has also survived a Planet explosion caused by Devastator and other Decepticons, who's superior to when he first appeared in the Original cartoon.
Autobot Combiners:
Machtackle can shake the axis of the earth with his Multi Spin Tornado Attack
Landcross destroys a meteor
Build King caused an oil explosion that he survived
Sixtrain's clash with Sixwing shakes the Earth
Decepticon Combiners:
Devastator, and a few other combiners, in Zone are a few of the Great Demon Generals
They are capable of destroying planets (Planet+ Level)
Devastator himself was able to stop a drill from reaching the Earth's Core which threatened the planet
Menasor jumps Bruticus which creates a crater
Dino King is able to alter a planet
Rairyu can create underwater earthquakes
Combatrons cause an explosion at a military base
Beast Era
This one is very simple, Star Saber has directly fought the likes of Lio Convoy, Beast Wars characters have consistently been depicted as on par with their predecessors despite their smaller size
Maximals:
Rhinox farted so hard that it creates a shockwave that can be seen from space (24.6 Zettatons of TNT)
Tigerhawk flew from the Vok Nebula to Earth in a short time frame
The Vok Nebula is on the other side of the Universe and in a different plane of reality (5.05 quad c)
Cheetor got struck by lightning, which can crumble a mountain
Silverbolt and Blackarachnia survive an explosion that caused a massive tornado
Lio Convoy was able to shield his allies from a Angolmois Explosion

Its strongly implied that Galvatron II had created a mini black hole
Hydra survived the destruction of Planet Porcupine (17.457 Zettatons of TNT)
Earth Wars
Deathsaurus is in Earth Wars, a mobile game that's about multiple characters dimension hopping for major events. In Game, Deathsaurus is a Special Class ranking and in story is regarded as a powerful threat that's equal to Megatron
Hound can scan an entire terrain in nanoseconds (FTL)
Strafe and Nosecone were able to search a trillion universes in per nanosecond (2.93 Duodecillions c)
Lightspeed can scan a decillion universes per femto-second (2.93 Unvigintillion - 947 Quintrigintillion c, see Before The Verdict)

Metalhawk survived the matter of a universe being consumed by Unicron (Uni+)
The combined efforts of all the Optimus Primes and Megatrons stopped Nova Prime’s Time Vortex from erasing all timelines (Multi+)
Other Continuities
Alright so this is a long one, this is essentially a scaling section for what's outside of the Japanese G1 Universe. In Transformers Cloud Galvatron II while being powered by Angolmois Energy, is able to fight Cloud Megatron, who was powered by SARA. In Transformers Superlink, Grand Scourge was able to fight Energon Optimus Prime, who was superior to their Armada era. Armada Starscream was able to fight Cloud Starscream, even able to cut off their arm. Grand Scourge was able to fight Scourge/Black Convoy in the Unite Warriors Manga. This is all important as Armada Megatron crossed into the Legends World where he survived hits him Ultra Magnus. The Japanese version of G1 Megatron survived an assault from multiple Skids, including the Binaltech version.
CLOUD:
Optimus and Megatron's original clash shook the Cloudworld
Cloudworld is what manages the Spacetime World (Multi+-5D)
SARA is a being who maintains Cloudworld
Megatron before coming back was stated to match SARA'S original power (Multi+-5D)
Starscream has threatened to destroy a universe (Uni+)
Unicron Trilogy
Nemesis Prime has the Doomstone, which threatened to wipe out all life on a planet (Country Level)
Armada Starscream was going to release all his energy to stop Legends Windblade, who was being charged with enough power to destroy the Legends World (Uni+)
Despite dying afterwards, Armada Optimus Prime was able to block a blast from the Hydra Cannon, which can destroy ⅓ of the planet (Small Planet Level)
Energon Optimus Prime survives an explosion on Cybertron that's visible from space
Survives being in the Super Energon Gas, which is able to destroy planets and potentially the Universe (Planet Level to Potentially Uni+)
Weaknesses
King Ghidorah
The cosmic hydra's proven to be a physical definition of an unstoppable force even to the likes of the kaiju king, but even then he's not completely unbeatable. Although he's been described to be invincible in space, stronger than any creature in the universe and furthermore, King Ghidorah has been bested and even killed by a collaboration of Earth's mightiest monsters a few times before. For King Void, the avatar is guided by the Garbetrium bead, and if it's destroyed, Void Ghidorah's avatar will succumb to the universe’s laws and become physically vulnerable to damage. As well as King Ghidorah’s heads are prone to be either sliced, torn, ripped or bitten off in several continuities. His regeneration while helpful also isn't a perfect defense as it can be overtaxed by a more powerful foe which is what happened in his final fight with Godzilla before Ghidorah lucked out by absorbing all of Boston's energy.
Deathsaurus
Despite his capabilities, Deathsaurus is far from invincible. Releasing his breast animals may give him advantages in numbers, but it leaves his chest vulnerable as they were the only thing protecting his flatness. Not only that, but if he uses too much energy then he won't be able to access Subspace to bring his weapons as they are directly connected to his energy.
Before The Verdicts
Why Are We Using Void Ghidorah?
For those unaware, Void Ghidorah is the version of King Ghidorah from the Netflix anime trilogy of Godzilla movies. This version of King Ghidorah is a bit different then the ones that came before it, being energy-based and from a higher dimension entirely, one unbound by the laws of physics and treated as a god-like entity. In many King Ghidorah power-scaling discussions, Void Ghidorah is usually tossed to the side compared to other versions due to how different it is. However, after much discussion, we decided to use it for a couple of reasons.
First off, Void Ghidorah could only really be argued as a version of Ghidorah that differs in its abilities, the original idea of Ghidorah being an invading monster summoned from space is still there, this just turns him into a more extreme version of that concept. In most ways from design to story, he’s still very similar to the other Ghidorah's we know and love, his shown design is actually misleading as his full body looks far more similar to typical King Ghidorah designs. The only real differences you can call out here are his powers, which in the grand scheme of the character is pretty unimportant to consider for compositing. When compositing a character, the primary focus is typically on whether the version fits in line with how the character usually is portrayed, Void Ghidorah's more wacky abilities in this version don’t make him any less Ghidorah then the others, in fact we can prove it. In an interview with the director of the movie, Hiroyuki Seshita, he confirms that Void Ghidorah is actually a King Ghidorah that evolved into what it is now, abandoning its physical body for a form of pure energy, showing he’s still the same ol King Ghidorah.
Which leads to our next point, that being the compositing logic we are already using in the first place. If we want to use Ghidorahs from different timelines/continuities, it would be interesting to examine as many versions as we can that don’t cross into any contradictory territory (which Void doesn’t), and given past blogs such as Sadako vs Slenderman have extended leeway to using more out there versions of Sadako and Slenderman respectively, it would be a bit inconsistent to suddenly turn a 180 on how we go about compositing bigger characters. At the end of the day however, this will not please everyone. Void Ghidorah in lots of Godzilla circles isn’t well liked for a variety of reasons, whether they be power-scaling or character reasons, so if you are not a fan of this iteration of the character and its inclusion, then…wah wah wah.
Are Guidebook Stats Usable?
A frequent “trope” of sorts in Tokusatsu media is that guidebooks, theatre programs, and other supplementary material will oftentimes give various statistics for their characters, often in conveniently power scaling-friendly terminology. Things like heights, weights, top speeds, and even attack potency. That said, there are oftentimes inconsistencies with these stats compared to the on-screen characters, one of the more notorious instances is Kamen Rider placing a rhythm game character higher than a literal deity, and Godzilla is no stranger to similar inconsistencies.
To start, the actual scaling of the stats themselves can sometimes be a bit wonky. For instance, the Gorosaurus seen in Destroy All Monsters is clocked in at 35 meters even though it’s the same height as the 50 meter tall Showa Godzilla, and the Gigan seen in Godzilla: Final Wars is supposed to be 95 meters despite being taller than the 100 meter tall Godzilla in the same film. The stats themselves also can be inconsistent depending on the source, with the King Ghidorah of the Heisei era being a particularly infamous case, where even contemporary sources released alongside his film can’t agree on his height and weight. All this pales in comparison to arguably the biggest points against guidebook stats, the speeds. Pretty much all of these guidebooks severely underestimate just how fast the Kaiju actually are, with most netting anywhere between Mach 400 and relativistic speeds in space despite numerous instances of Kaiju very blatantly moving countless lightyears in relatively short spans of time. In short, while the stats are pretty blatant as a source, it’s best not to treat them as gospel.
Godzilla Multipliers
Throughout his numerous appearances, Godzilla has naturally gotten stronger and stronger over the course of his history. With these jumps in strength often came multipliers stated by either characters or guidebooks, this section essentially just exists to give a nice clear list of all the multipliers he’s gotten over the years. First thing that needs to be addressed, the King Ghidorah in 1991 is actually a far superior clone of his Showa counterpart as the Futurians traveled back to when Destroy All Monsters took place and stole his DNA to make the Dorats as stated in the Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah Super Complete Works and the movie's official novelization. The two eras exist in the same universe but obviously in separate timelines, both the Showa and Heisei Eras and most of the Millennium Era share the same origin point being the original movie from 1954.
Now onto the major multipliers, we’ll be focusing on the Heisei era here. First up, Toho had numerous guidebooks gloating that Godzilla just in the '84 movie alone would be far superior to the EoS Showa Godzilla by 200 times. In the direct sequel, Godzilla Vs Biollante, Godzilla encounters a super weapon dubbed the Super X-2 which had a Fire Mirror made from synthetic diamond mounted in its front, its purpose was to deflect Godzilla's heat ray back at him with an increased firepower of 10,000 times. Godzilla barely gets grazed by the reflected beams and immediately melts the ‘heat proof’ mirror with his atomic ray. The next movie being Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah gives Godzilla his first power boost. The aforementioned failure to erase him from time actually caused him to get caught in a nuclear submarine crash, this second nuclear disaster granted him his Supercharged state amping Godzilla by another 200x stat boost.
Jumping to Vs MechaGodzilla 2, Godzilla is amped by Fire Rodan by absorbing his soul, boosting his already insane strength twice fold and melts through Super MechaGodzilla’s advanced version of the previous Fire Mirror with his Spiral Ray and his presence alone. This would give us at least another 10,000x scale. Vs SpaceGodzilla would deliver the updated version of MOGUERA, with it being 5x stronger than Super MechaGodzilla as quoted by Koichi Kawakita in the Godzilla Vs G-Force Superweapon Manual, which is fitting as Toho deemed it as the ultimate Anti-Godzilla superweapon. SpaceGodzilla amps himself with huge doses of cosmic energy from the universe and can absorb an endless supply of cosmic energy. Both Godzilla and MOGUERA overwhelm SpaceGodzilla with Godzilla finishing him off with a barrage of heat ray spams.
Now let’s put these all together, ‘84 Godzilla clearly upscales the Showa version so we’ll use that as our starting line. Showa Godzilla scaling to Dorola creating 4-D dimensions should put them safely around the universal range. From there we just add up all the multipliers he got through the Heisei movies, bringing us to a whopping 40 trillion times universal, which Godzilla should also be upscaling. But as absurd as that number is, we can potentially go even further.
Enter Burning Godzilla, who’s Infinite Spiral Heat Ray is stated to fittingly increase in power “infinitely per use”. However this is a very big maybe, because the truth is, we don’t know if this is actually stated. Let us explain, basically wikis support this idea that the ability increases infinitely each time it’s used and source the same guidebooks, those being the 1954-1999 Super Complete Works and Heisei Chronicles from what we can tell. The issue then is we have no way of actually getting our hands on these books, they haven’t been uploaded online anywhere, no scans of the statements could be found(the one vsbw uses is bad), and we’re not gonna make a member spend over forty dollars on a book they can’t read to find a statement that might not even be true. So unfortunately we can’t confirm if these statements are accurate and thus won’t be using them for the blog, but we did still want to acknowledge them for completion's sake.
Lightspeed Scaling
One of the fastest feats in not just Transformers, but in all of VS, the autobot Lightspeed from the Earth Wars Mobile game was able to search a decillion universes per femto-second, which makes you think a vs debater wrote it once you read the dialogue. Now for a while most have accepted this feat, but we don't think this is overall applicable to anyone. To start, we need to discuss the overall context of this feat. In Earth Wars, both factions are specifically looking for their allies, Chromia for Autobots and Starscream for Decepticons, where they were each trying to find which universes each are in. They eventually find them but this is where both differ, they each were looking around the same time but Lightspeed showed up to help the Autobots, where he specifically called out how long it was taking to find Chromia. He then starts the process of searching a decillion universes per femto-second, whereas before the Autobots were searching a trillion universes per nanosecond, which is likely how the Decepticons were searching for Starscream as well. However when Lightspeed showed up, he was able to find Chromia quicker than the Decepticons were able to find Starscream.
The implication that he calls their search process slow implies that he's faster than the average Autobot and Decepticon, along with being even faster than the likes of Strafe, who along with Nosecone, were the ones doing the universe scanning. Strafe is also an autobot who's acknowledged for his quick reactions according to his Earth Wars bio. This is also further backed up for how Lightspeed in his bio considers everything too slow for his liking, along with having a hyper-speed processor which allows him to interpret things a lot quicker than most. Overall, Lightspeed being considered a speedster according to the story mode and his own bio backing it up means that no one likely can scale to him searching a decillion universes per femto-second.
Golden Megatron Scaling
By far one of the most well-known feats in Transformers. In the Generations manga, Megatron becomes a Golden version of himself which states that he would threaten to merge the multiverse Past, Present, and Future. This feat is often mixed with some agreeing with it and others not so much, so we'll be discussing if the feat is usable for the JG1 Cast.
First Question: Is the statement actually referring to the multiverse? There's multiple translations regarding the feat, however we believe the statement itself is referring to the multiverse. To start, the different translations for the Manga do refer to Golden Megatron being able to merge something into one, but what he's merging changes per translation, but it's likely referring to the multiverse for each one. Let's go at a basic level to start, with using just a basic Translator like Google Translate and Deepl. Though they're a rough Translation overall, they still indicate that Megatron is referring to multiple universes. Now we move on to another translation, that being the one listed on TF Wiki. The Translations given in the script version and lettered version both refer Megatron to merging worlds, past, present and future. The term world often refers to a planet or society of a planet, but the context for this manga is likely using world as a way to refer to universes. Then we got the next major translation from Tet's Toys Blog, which refers to merging the multiverse. Overall the feat is referring to Megatron threatening to merge the multiverse.
Next Question: Wasn't this feat done with the characters amped? A major question, and to that, yes. Megatron was amped by 2 Silver Matrices merging, with additional forms he had before like Golden Form. However this is where we get to the interesting part, Star Convoy wasn't amped. SC explicitly lost the Golden Power while fighting Megatron, however he was still able to defeat Golden Megatron with the Star Rod, which was able to damage him and de-merge the Golden Matrix. So while Megatron himself was amped, Optimus Prime/Star Convoy wasn't. Star Convoy did end up losing the Silver Matrix which powered him, but Convoy did get something regarded as powerful if not more, that being the Zodiac, which means the feat is still applicable to him.
For the next Question: Was Megatron's statement just a hyperbole? This is the more obvious question, that being: was Megatron just hyping himself up? Now this is pretty straight forward, Megatron was specifically powered by 2 Silver Matrices merging. Despite being constantly said its able to create a Universe, a single Silver Matrix is stated to be actually capable of creating universes. Considering that the Golden Matrix was created from 2 Silver Matrices, it's more than likely that it's able to affect at least multiple universes at once which does insist that Megatron is likely not being hyperbolic
For the last question: Wouldn't this feat be an outlier? Short answer would be no, long answer would be there being multiple feats on the same level the cast would scale. Although it's weird that multiple characters would scale to an amped feat like this, it's not the most out there level for JG1. In the Unite Warriors Manga, Unicron was threatening the multiverse by summoning too many foes at once, however there's a big indication that Unicron would likely survive the Multiverse being destroyed, which made the Autobots and Decepticons focus on taking him down before trying to stop the multiverse from collapsing. With characters breaking his limbs, and Optimus launching his head. There's also how far weaker characters like Chromedome and Fortress Maximus have been able to survive Black Hole detonations that threatened the Universe, meaning that JG1 Transformers are consistently cosmic in terms of feats. Then there's the factor of multiple characters being able to scale to the Transformers Cloud cast, like early on in Cloud, Armada Starscream was strong enough to cut off Cloud Starscream's arm. Later on in Cloud, Galvatron from the Beast Wars II Cartoon was able to directly keep up with Cloud Megatron who at the time was super amped by most of SARA's power.
Overall, Golden Megatron's feat to us is applicable to use not just for Deathsaurus but for the JG1 Cast as well, at least the ones with an Energon Matrix as established in the Autobot Leader sections where they were able to power up Optimus to Star Convoy

Physical Stats
In terms of physical stats, King Ghidorah and Deathsaurus are both incredibly powerful, with both easily being able to have enough power to destroy the entire universe and beyond it. At King Ghidorah’s peak (without using smelly Battle Line scaling), he is an astounding 40 Trillion times Universal (thank you Heisei Multipliers my beloved), not to mention that Void Ghidorah it outright stated to be a 4th Dimensional entity as well as scaling to the likes of Zone Fighter, who could disperse Dorola, a 4th Dimensional reality warper whose gases can create 4D Spaces, helping to make this 40 Trillion Times Universal King Ghidorah seem more reasonable. While incredibly impressive, Deathsaurus actually has King Ghidorah beat in terms of raw power. Deathsaurus could be scaled to that time where every Optimus Prime and every Megatron joined forces and stopped Nova Prime from annihilating every single timeline in the Transformers Multiverse, making Deathsaurus Multi+ in terms of power. Not to mention the likes of Golden Megatron who threatened to be capable of merging the Infinite Multiverse of the Past, Present and Future. As well as being able to match SARA, a being that contains Cloudworld, Megatron being able to match SARA means he alongside Deathsaurus should be 5D or 5th Dimensional. Which would make him technically infinitely times more powerful than King Ghidorah at his peak (once again, without going into Battle Line shenanigans). So in terms of raw power, Deathsaurus triumphs over King Ghidorah in this aspect.
However when it comes to speed, things get a whole lot more interesting. King Ghidorah could obviously scale to massively faster than light characters such as Godzilla, Gigan and Orga. However that doesn’t really matter because King Ghidorah should be able to scale to Mothra Leo, who could move so fast that they pull a Flash and time travel via sheer speed and Zone Fighter, whose Astro Dash can move so fast that they can enter 4D Space (wtf???). King Ghidorah scaling to these two means that he should comfortably be Immeasurable in speed. As for Deathsaurus, he can very similarly be scaled to massively faster than light characters such as Starsaber, Nosecone, Strafe, and Tigerhawk. However, Deathsaurus could scale Rodimus Convoy, who opened the Matrix of Leadership inside of Unicron, blowing him up and sending his fragments so fast that they broke Space and Time and they ended up landing in the future, quite frankly this Immeasurable speed feat should be something Deathsaurus should easily be scalable too. Meaning that for speed, King Ghidorah and Deathsaurus are equals in this aspect of the battle.
So, to make Physical Stats a long story short, both are absurdly powerful and fast. In terms of speed, both King Ghidorah and Deathsaurus are equally as immeasurable as one another, however Deathsaurus being the physically superior of the two means that Deathsaurus wins the physical stats category.
Abilities
However, their abilities and overall arsenal are a lot more complex. King Ghidorah’s arsenal includes stat boosting, mind control, summoning (like bringing in another Void Ghidorah apparently) and other things, but some of the most potent are the Crystal Power Surges. The surges give Ghidorah a plethora of extra abilities like even more stat boosting, regeneration and damage cancelation, speed boosts, paralysation and total invincibility. Their abilities would become more passive over time like with the Fire, Electrical, Speed, and Radiation surges. Now let's go over his actual powers. The super monster's biology alone gives him damage nullification and the ability to manipulate gravity and space-time, create black holes and absorb energy just by interacting with his scales. He has free magnetism at his disposal, electrokinesis, storm creation, can time travel, regenerate from body parts to avoid time erasure, and give allergies (better watch out). Easily one of his most dangerous abilities are his Gravity Beams, which can completely destroy the gravity of its targets, and lastly his shadow consumption. The damage inflicted on said shadow happens to whatever is casting the shadow in the first place, bypassing conventional durability and acting as almost a “Insta Win” move if he uses it right. He has potent resistances to gravity, antimatter, black holes, extreme temperatures, mind manipulation and so forth.
Deathsaurus is no pushover either, as he has pyrokinesis, energy manipulation, wormhole creation, electrokinesis, full-on creation, and thanks to his Cybertronian nature he can pull weapons and other useful items from the Subspace and him being a Transformer makes him incredibly versatile in battle. A whole walk-in closet full of equipment whether it be armies of Insecticon Clones, BATTLE Bots, Titans, or his more dangerous ones like the Living-Metal-Destroying Cannon, which kills living metal; the Forge of Solus Prime, literally weaponizing imagination and capable of destroying time, reality and seal time rifts; the Planet Destroying Fortress that can blow up whole worlds; Prime Cores and the Dark Star Saber, but more on the Dark Star Saber in full detail later. He's also resistant to soul/mind manipulation, fire, corrosion, electricity, gravity, antimatter, etc.
In comparison, King Ghidorah's powers and Deathsaurus's weapons are almost equally matched, even sharing some abilities such as Electricity Manipulation, Energy Absorption, Flight and so on. Their energy manipulation capabilities counter each other's since they can just take it back. But the sheer variety and versatility of abilities Ghidorah has would be capable of putting Deathsaurus down for good. Deathsaurus has resisted gravity forces but not anything specific like having his gravity being destroyed to where he'd fall apart. He's never countered magnetism which not only Ghidorah has but has them as straight up projectiles substituting the Gravity Beams, letting Ghidorah control his movement at any time. Ghidorah can time travel and he just naturally has time powers on the fly. But his biggest advantage is his high evolutionary state as Void Ghidorah with his shadow consumption as mentioned before, super gravity which can manipulate higher dimensional framework and has used it to crush targets, which all were performed just by the avatars. Even just trying to touch him would prove difficult, given he can passively warp time and space or bend reality to make attacks miss him. His true form can potentially wear out Deathsaurus by spamming avatars should he keep losing them, not to mention Ghidorah’s ability to just revive through space-time portals which judging from on-screen showings, they're seemingly instantaneous and pop up out of nowhere. Now, while the Forge of Solus could cause these space-time portals to vanish…nothing is stopping King Ghidorah from just opening them up again and again and again. The Forge of Solus never states that it ceases all portals from being opened afterwards, so the Forge of Solus will not stop King Ghidorah coming back for good. All this together gives him a huge advantage of controlling the battlefield to his will, being able to freely control Deathsaurus’ actions and warp the battlefield how he pleases. The only other thing Deathsaurus can really counter is Ghidorah’s possession through the Dark Star Saber, which again will be covered soon.
In short, while Deathsaurus is able to match him in a couple abilities, Ghidorah’s sheer versatility and other surprise abilities like shadow destruction, gravity destruction, magnetism, reality warping, regen and attack negation would give King Ghidorah the edge when it comes to abilities. Seems like Deathsaurus would have a lot of trouble with Void, which that leads us too…
Void Ghidorah vs The Dark Star Saber
Ultimately the main thing this debate comes down to is whether Deathsaurus can utilize the Dark Star Saber (DSS for short) to beat Void Ghidorah and more importantly its true form, in which case we think it’s a fairly blatant no. The Dark Star Saber has a lot to cover so let’s break this down example by example, first off.
The DSS can summon people from across the multiverse, couldn’t it just force Void’s true form into the fight?
Firstly, the DSS has only ever been able to summon characters from universes on its same level, it has never brought in a being from a higher dimension and to say it’d be able to would be a complete assumption. More damingly however, Void’s true form cannot coexist with the normal 3D dimension, that’s the entire reason it was stuck into 4D space and had to send avatars down in the first place. If it was brought into Deathsaurus’ 3D, at best it would just immediately go back into the fourth dimension as it can’t exist there. At worst, it would just destroy all of reality considering its passive universe destroying super gravity and reality corrosion. While the DSS could protect him from the universal destruction similar to Metalhawk, this would likely destroy all of his equipment save for maybe the DSS and it still would have no answer to Ghidorah just going back to 4D space. To be very clear, this is Deathsaurus’ only possible way of actually reaching Void’s true form. The DSS and his kit as a whole lacks any other way of reaching other dimensions, especially higher ones and he has no way of actually physically entering the dimension as the portals made by the DSS have only ever been used to bring others to him than vice versa, and again it’s never been able to create these portals to higher dimensions in the first place.
The DSS can affect souls, wouldn’t that be an easy way to end the fight?
Let’s start by establishing that Void Ghidorah’s avatars even having a soul is debatable since they are just avatars, but for the sake of fairness we’ll say they do. First off, while the DSS could corrupt Ghidorah’s soul with long enough exposure to its dark energon, this does literally nothing to help him. Sure it’d tie Ghidorah’s soul to Unicron’s spark, stopping him from entering the afterlife upon death, but it does absolutely nothing to help make Ghidorah actually dead in the first place and is effectively a useless ability here. As for its other options against the soul, it doesn’t really have any? It’s been stated to be able to influence the wielder's soul to manipulate their minds, but not only has it not done this to people besides it's weirder, but Ghidorah resists mental manipulation such as this in the first place. As for it being able to damage and destroy souls, this is a complete assumption with little to no evidence backing it up. At best it’s counterpart the Star Saber has been stated to “leave a scar on the soul” which given what the Saber usually does, is likely referring to how it affects the mind. Aside from that there is zero examples of it ever being able to directly harm a soul and to say it can do so off of abilities that exclusively focus on corrupting and influencing the mind is shaky at best, and even if we want to say it could damage souls, there is nothing supporting the idea that it could completely damage one.
Could the DSS corrupt Void Ghidorah’s energy into dark energon?
Void Ghidorah abandoned his physical body in favor of one entirely made of energy, so the DSS being able to convert energy into dark energon would be an instant win right? Against his avatars maybe, the avatars probably have physical bodies considering Earth could hit them physically once the stone was out of the picture. But since Ghidorah can just keep sending avatars down, even if it did work(which it likely shouldn’t), it wouldn’t be able to end the fight, he’d need to be able to do it to Void’s true form. Now given that the DSS has corrupted higher dimensions like Unspace, if he reached Void Ghidorah’s higher reality he’d likely be able to do this fairly easily. But that requires him actually reaching that dimension, which as established earlier he has no way of doing without giving Deathsaurus generous assumptions.
Can the DSS protect Deathsaurus from Ghidorah’s hax?
So Deathsaurus has no way to reach Void’s true form, but can Ghidorah get past the DSS’ defenses? To most of Ghidorah’s answer yes! But most of Ghidorah’s kit wasn’t going to work anyways due to the AP gap, more importantly we have to see how the DSS stacks up against his options for bypassing durability. Ghidorah's gravity beams would fail since they’d either be blocked by the forcefield. Super Gravity is more debatable as it would get past the forcefield by just spawning on Deathsaurus, and while the DSS has defended users from universal destruction and effected higher dimensions, it’s never stopped gravitational attacks like this so it’s questionable if it’d protect Ghidorah from just crushing Deathsaurus into a can. However while gravity might be debatable, the DSS has no counter to Ghidorah’s best wincon of shadow consumption. Because it happens via shadows it would sneak right past the forcefield, and while it has defended from durability negating attacks before, durability negation itself isn’t an ability, it’s an umbrella term for different abilities that are able to do such. Stopping some forms of durability negation wouldn’t make you immune to other forms of it, and since there is zero evidence or examples of the DSS or Deathsaurus ever encountering a hax like this, it’d be a very generous assumption to say it’d be capable of defending against it.
So let’s summarize. The Dark Star Saber has no way of actually reaching Void’s true form, its potential wincons rely on iffy assumptions or reaching Ghidorah’s true form, which it cannot do, and it has no defenses against Void’s more potent haxes like shadow consumption. Simply put Void Ghidorah outclasses the DSS in pretty much every way, and the only way to have it beat Void is giving it the benefit of the doubt with no real backing such as saying it could destroy souls or drag in higher dimension. Furthermore, it should be noted that ALL of Deathsaurus’ potential options for defeating Void’s true form are things he himself has never done and are only things other characters or alternate versions of the weapon have done. Further furthermore, this is all assuming Deathsaurus is even aware that Void’s true form is a thing, something he has literally no way of knowing. Considering Deathsaurus has no way of knowing the true form exists and no way to reach it even if he does, he simply has no way to ever actually end this fight and kill Void Ghidorah for good.
But let’s say for a second that he could, let’s go with the assumptions and say that he could reach Void’s true form. He still would not win as Ghidorah is ultimately still more likely to land his winning moves first. Again Deathsaurus has no way of knowing the true form exists so he wouldn’t be able to instantly go for it, and that’s bad when he’s going to be struggling against just an avatar. Ghidorah’s space time warping could be bypassed by the Dark Star Saber cutting through space-time, but it has only ever done this to create wormholes and is unlikely to be able to end the fight. Even if it did, Ghidorah’s regeneration would require him to cut him down into damn near nothing and aside from this ability of the DSS, Deathsaurus has zero ways past his space bending forcing all of his attacks to miss. So their wincons become:
Ghidorah: Use shadow consumption which Deathsaurus has zero counters against to win the fight near instantly.
Deathsaurus: Use the singular ability he has that can bypass Ghidorah’s hax numerous times to kill just the avatar, somehow realize that the avatars are coming from a higher dimensional being, and then use the hax he has never used before to reach and kill Void’s true form.
You can very clearly see the difference in ease here, Ghidorah’s wincon is just far more readily accessible and easy to accomplish and realize. And remember, this is all assuming he even has a way to reach and kill Void Ghidorah’s true form, something that requires generous assumptions and abilities he has never used before.
Ultimately King Ghidorah simply has Deathsaurus beaten in all possible ways when it comes to their big wincons.
Conclusion
“These legends. What did they call him?”
“Ghidorah. The One Who is Many”
Advantages:
Equal in speed if Immeasurable is used
Far superior versatility and control of the battlefield
Void Ghidorah makes it impossible for him to be beaten physically
Shadow consumption is a nearly guaranteed wincon
Deathsaurus has no way to ever reach True Form Void Ghidorah
Regeneration makes King Ghidorah hard to put down for good not even accounting for his resurrection powers
Void Ghidorah could spam avatars to wear down Deathsaurus
Has shown up in more than 4 things lmao
Is in Gigabash
Disadvantages:
Weaker in terms of power
Can’t possess Deathsaurus
Energy Absorption could be countered by Deathsaurus’s own Energy Absorption
Would be vulnerable to the Dark Star Saber/Dark Energon’s effects if his True Form is somehow reached
Minilla victim
Loses his heads…a lot
Gen Urobuchi fucking sucks
So ultimately, despite both of these cosmic calamity causing dragons being incredibly powerful, the ultimate victor of this clash will no doubt be King Ghidorah! Despite Deathsaurus’s superior might to this Three Headed Terror, it didn’t matter much due to the fact that Deathsaurus didn’t really have any means to end or kill King Ghidorah for good.
In terms of speed both are equally immeasurable, however with King Ghidorah’s superior abilities, he had much more control over the battlefield and thus would likely land a fatal blow first before Deathsaurus could, meaning that even without considering Void’s true form, Ghidorah is still more likely to land his win conditions. Even if he did land a blow, Deathsaurus couldn’t kill King Ghidorah and make sure he stays dead because when he dies, he’ll just make a portal and come back if his regeneration fails him. Even with the Forge of Solus it wouldn’t be able to stop Ghidorah from coming back into the fight, as the Forge was only ever stated to be able to seal vortexes, not stop them from being created outright. Additionally, he has no means of actually reaching True Form Void Ghidorah, which gives Ghidorah plenty of time to use his several means of ending this fight. From using Super Gravity to crush Deathsaurus apart, to just wearing him down via spamming Void Ghidorah avatars, and most effectively, using his Shadow Consumption to completely bypass Deathsaurus’s durability and take him out that way.
Deathsaurus was definitely no pushover and would’ve given King Ghidorah the fight of his life. But despite his superior power, King Ghidorah’s equal speed, more versatile abilities and True Form Void Ghidorah’s unreachability would show Deathsaurus who the True Emperor of Destruction is in this clash of titans!
Ultimately, it appears that the Emperor of the Cosmos had a Golden way to dethrone this Emperor of Destruction as King Ghidorah was simply a three head of the game. Sadly for Deathsaurus, his chance at winning would be left null and void as he had a Monster Zero shot in hell at victory!
The Winner is King Ghidorah!
Team Deathsaurus
Stats
The Three-Headed Monster is one of the most powerful Kaiju in all of Godzilla, being able to rival the King himself. In terms of direct feats, Ghidorah is considered a casual planet buster to the point he does it for fun, capable of creating black holes, and with Super Gravity is able to destroy stars and potentially the Universe overtime. In terms of scaling, Ghidorah is on par with many Kaiju throughout the verse. His rival, Godzilla, is able to blast through a space and time barrier. In terms of other Kaiju, Mothra Leo was able to use the energy of the universe to seal away Desghidorah, Desghidorah himself being stated to be able to destroy the universe when well fed, Dorola who's a 4th dimensional being, etc. Overall Ghidorah is consistently at a universal level but that's not the limit as we have to get to multipliers! Using the multipliers established in BTV, Ghidorah would be 40 Trillion × Universal! So at his best, Ghidorah would be around Uni to Multiversal.
Moving on to the Draconic Bird-like Decepticon, Deathsaurus' own direct feats are nowhere near as impressive as Ghidorah’s in terms of AP, but luckily he's given plenty of direct scaling thanks to his rival Star Saber! To start, Star Saber has consistently been depicted as a planet level character, being able to draw energy from an entire planet into his blade or directly surviving a planet explosion. In terms of scaling overall, Deathsaurus himself has been stated to be the strongest Decepticon Leader in history at that time, meaning he's superior to the likes of Scorponok, who threatened to detonate a Black Hole which would've destroyed the universe. Moving on to the Autobot side, Deathsaurus being considered an equal to Victory Saber puts him at the level of Lio Convoy. Lio Convoy has an Energon Matrix, five of them were able to power up Optimus Prime to Star Convoy, the very same form that defeated Golden Megatron, who could merge the multiverse. The Multiverse into Transformers is considered infinite which would put Deathsaurus at Multi+, however in terms of finite numbers, the Transformers multiverse has at least a decillion universes. Divided by 5 and we would have a number of 200 Nonillion. With this in mind, Deathsaurus would be Multi to Multi+.
Overall Deathsaurus would be, finite wise, 5 Quintillion times stronger than Ghidorah. And using the infinite end for both, Deathsaurus would still be an infinite multiverse level of power, which is beyond the power of Ghidorah. Deathsaurus takes Strength!
Speed wise is not as clear cut compared to the previous statistical category. To start on Ghidorah's end, he's comparable to the likes of Mothra, who could travel outside our solar system in about 2 years. For better feats, Ghidorah is depicted as superior to Gigan, who could fly from Space Hunter M Nebula to Earth in just a few minutes, a feat calc'd at 81 million to over 640 Million times the speed of light. For a even higher number, there's Spacegodzilla illuminating the universe with his birth, which has been calc'd from 293 to 587 Quadrillions times the speed of light, but it's very dubious if Ghidorah could scale to this in the first place as this came long after he died in the Heisei era. For speed beyond measurable, Ghidorah is comparable to the likes of Zone Fighter, who could travel into 4th dimensional space while still in 3rd dimension via speed. Then there's Mothra Leo being able to time travel via sheer speed. With that in mind, finite wise, Ghidorah would be Millions c to dubiously Quadrillions c and higher ends would put him at immeasurable levels.
Moving on to Deathsaurus, his very own Fortress was able to launch meteors from space to Earth in under a minute, which has been put at 313 Millions c, considering that bots and cons were able to react to the meteors coming to earth, it's likely that Deathsaurus can be put on this level. Moving to higher levels, there's Star Saber being able to travel to another galaxy in 15 seconds, which has been put at 5 Trillions times the speed of light. And then there's Tigerhawk, who was able to travel from the Vok Nebula to Earth in a very short timeframe, which has been put at 5 Quadrillions c. Deathsaurus would be overall 5 Quadrillions c but that's only if we're just using cartoons. Using Earth Wars, Deathsaurus can scale to Strafe and Nosecone, who can scan a trillion universes in a nanosecond, a feat worth 2.93 Duodecillion times the speed of light. In terms of higher ends, Deathsaurus scaling to the likes of Golden Megatron, who was not only affecting universes but Past, present and future, could potentially put him at an immeasurable level of speed. But that's not the only speed feat left, as in Transformers Kiss Players, the Matrix was able to send Fragments of Unicron not just across the universe, but into the future which means it traveled through time, which puts him at a level of immeasurable speed. With this in mind, Deathsaurus would be Millions to Duodecillion times the speed of light finite wise, and Immeasurable at his best.
Overall, finite wise, evening when using SpaceGodzilla illuminating the universe feat, Deathsaurus would still be over 4 sextillion times faster than Ghidorah. In terms of higher ends, both are at the level of immeasurable. So this category would be equal in speed.
Abilities
Now let's get the obvious out of the way, Ghidorah has far more inherent abilities then Deathsaurus. While Deathsaurus does have useful ones like Flight and being able to breathe fire, Ghidorah simply has that and more. Fortunately for the Decepticon commander, his equipment more than makes up for it. Deathsaurus has a wide plethora of weapons that he can use to keep Ghidorah at a distance. However most of the weapons in his arsenal come from the game Earth Wars.
In the mobile game Deathsaurus’s arsenal expands to include Power Cores which lets him increase his already immense strength, Micro bots which let him summon allies to join in the fight. Then there are the Prime Cores, small bots who grant the powers of the original 13 Primes. Though the game only lets you equip one Prime Core on a bot, Characters in the story equip multiple at a time and even all twelve at the same time (though that has a consequence of summoning Unicron himself which wouldn’t help him). The Prime Cores grant healing, life draining, manipulating time and putting others in time loops, revive the user and move themselves back in time a few seconds, or just manipulate time so that previous events won't happen. It also makes the user of a prime core immune to the effects of the same prime core in gameplay, making many of Ghidorah’s hax useless.
One way is via using the Titan Nemesis. He can reduce damage taken from physical attacks, lower the speed of opponents, weaken opponents, and reduce damage from electric attacks (feels pretty handy in this case). But that’s not the most important thing it can do. What it can do is their control over space and time. They can punch a hole in time and space with Quantum Energy, which would counter Ghidorah’s attack dodging via bending space time, or prevent you from traveling in time by altering your temporal molecules. They can passively summon a Time Vortex that can trap others far outside of time, as it did with Optimus Prime and Megatron, which would be a good method of keeping Ghidorah duplicates from coming via effective temporal BFR, something Ghidorah has no answer to. It also helps that the Titan is much stronger than Ghidorah and many of his forms. Making Nemesis capable of just bulldozing through anything the daikaiju throws at him.
Another weapon that Deathsaurus is able to wield is the Forge of Solus Prime. A hammer used by the ancient Prime that can create anything from any matter. Powered by imagination, it makes for a powerful weapon with many uses, there is one especially useful in this debate. The ability to seal off the Titans and their time vortexes, while the details are fuzzy, the Forge was able to prevent any new tears in space time from happening and spreading across the multiverse, which is extremely similar to Void Ghidorah needing to send in vessels into the universe via similar methods. Though Deathsaurus himself has never used this power he is extremely knowledgeable on Forge and has no reason not to know how to do that. This grants Deathsaurus a way to win via BFR, but that isn’t the only means he has to achieve victory against Ghidorah.
THE DARK STAR SABER vs VOID GHIDORAH
Given the power of this blade, saving this for last feels fitting given the sheer power and versatility of it. The big question is if it can be the final nail in the coffin against Ghidorah, and from our research, we believe that it is, in fact, a resounding yes. Now the Dark Star Saber does have a few things to cover, so let's go over them.
But Void Ghidorah exists in another plane of existence, would Deathsaurus even be able to reach him?
Now as you may have seen, the Dark Star Saber is fully capable of summoning others from across the Multiverse itself. However, its capabilities are much further than that as it could cut into and corrupt a universe into a Dead Universe, and then turn it into Unspace, which is described as “Beyond Mathematics” and above normal space time, quite similar to Void Ghidorah’s realm, meaning he could simply travel into the realm without much risk to his own universe.
Would Void Ghidorah even be affected by the DSS?
Given the sword’s ability to cut through space and time, this would very much help it bypass Void Ghidorah’s defenses and affect the true form of the Kaiju. There’s also the matter of the sword itself and how it affected the Unspace, as when exposed to Dark Energon, it turned into a dead universe, which means simply cutting into the verse would begin to affect Void Ghidorah, via either destroying the Void itself through corrupting it with Dark Energon, which, speaking of…
Could the DSS corrupt Void Ghidorah with Dark Energon?
Simply put, yes.
For the longer answer, the DSS is something that is fully capable of leaving a mark on your very soul, or even corrupting you on that level, as shown with the Aligned version of Megatron’s experience with Dark Energon, which would effectively put him under its control or simply destroy him completely. Void Ghidorah does have plenty of nifty hax and tough resistances but nothing is guarding him from soul corruption.
Can the DSS protect against Ghidorah’s hax?
We believe this is pretty clear cut with saying yes, given its shown to defend passively, as demonstrated with guarding users from abilities such as Tarn’s Outlier ability, which operates by Tarn simply talking, meaning simply holding it would protect against Ghidorah’s abilities. However Deathsaurus doesn’t even need to hold it to gain its protection. Remember Metalhawk was able to survive the effects of the void even after he threw away the Star Saber. Meaning even if he doesn’t use the blade, he would be fully protected from any of Ghidorah’s more nutty powers
It would also be more than capable of protecting against Supergravity, given it operates on a similar level of effectiveness as Void Ghidorah’s realm, since it acts on the 4th dimension. It’d also defend against the Space-Time Manipulation as its blocked attacks of similar ability, and going back to Tarn’s outlier ability, it also defends against abilities that corrupt and destroy technology.
Conclusion
"For empires to rise, that which they are built on must first be destroyed"
Advantages:
Superior AP
Faster with the Finite ends
Equal in speed if Immeasurable is used
Can resist being possessed by King Ghidorah
Healing items can keep him in the fight
Forge of Solus Prime can potentially BFR
Dark Star Saber cutting through spacetime helps bypass Ghidorah’s defenses
Dark Star Saber helps him resist against most of Ghidorah’s abilities
Dark Energon could affect King Ghidorah’s soul by tying it to Unicron…
His Haslab figure sold more than Star Saber
Has a hot wife and a cute kid
He can summon Unicron…
Disadvantages:
Is vulnerable to shadow consumption
Wouldn’t immediately be aware of Void Ghidorah’s True Form if at all
…but would need to reach Void Ghidorah’s True Form first
Energy Absorption could be countered by King Ghidorah’s own Energy Absorption
Who is this guy?
…why the hell would you wanna summon Unicron???
Because he's goated???
With everything in mind, despite the Three-Headed Monster’s best efforts, the Emperor of Destruction reigns supreme in this battle. His superior strength and numbers grants him multiple ways to overpower Ghidorah, while countering many of his abilities due to his equipment, along with having gear that Ghidorah has no counters to. In the mind of Void vs Dark Star Saber, Deathsaurus would be able to counter Ghidorah's more weird abilities, while being able to directly travel into the Void's dimension via being able to survive similar dimensional realities like the Unspace. So in conclusion, The Emperor of the Cosmos is more than a worthy opponent, but every head must bow eventually.
The winner is Deathsaurus!
