Bang's Blogs: Junko Enoshima vs Springtrap
“Every murderer is probably somebody’s old friend.” -Agatha Christie
Junko Enoshima, the Ultimate Despair of Hope’s Peak Academy.
Springtrap, the Undead Agony of Fazbear Entertainment.
These cunning serial killers scheme in the shadows, behind the curtains of the plot to strike where no scream can be heard. Masked by their anthropomorphic identities, they stained their companies with their sadistic acts towards innocent youth, orchestrating a series of murderers for them to feed off of and harness negative emotions with no consequence. But the curtain of blood must be unveiled, and only one can survive the slaughter. Will Afton have another mask to wear, or will Junko fashion herself a new broken robot? Punishment time is open for business in this DEATH BATTLE!
Before We Start…
Both of these two are more complicated in terms of material than you’d think, so we’ll talk about what has been used for both.
For Junko, games such as the original Danganronpa, its sequel, and the spinoffs Ultra Despair Girls and Kirigirisou were used. In addition, we looked into all of the mangas (feats from gag mangas will be discounted) as well as the animes and all the novels - the novelization of the anime, Zero, the Togami novels (despite their dubious canonicity), the Kirigiri novels, Beautiful Days, and the Makoto Naegi Secret File - and even the stage plays. We also will be including Danganronpa V3, mainly for the Monokuma side of it. Its use in the debate will be addressed in Before the Verdict. However, we will not be using either Danganronpa S or Ultimate Talent Development Plan and the abilities Junko gains from this. Danganronpa S is pretty explicitly not canon to Junko in any way and she wouldn’t get any of the equipment, and Ultimate Talent Development Plan’s abilities it gives Junko are completely incongruent with any depiction of her and other Danganronpa students, not to mention that they are just there for a fun RPG side mode. They aren’t intended to show what the characters can canonically do, as it doesn’t make sense that every single Danganronpa character has death hax, considering the nature of the series. As a result, they will not be used.
For Springtrap, notoriously things are pretty messy. But for the most part, our main focus will be on the main canon of the games. However, of course there’s a lot more with the series than that. We will also be looking into the many novels. This will be elaborated on further in a Before the Verdict, but in short some of the books (Like the Silver Eyes Trilogy) are meant to fill in blanks on certain things with the games - As Scott Cawthon said, look to the novels to fill in some blanks to the past! So we will have to just look into them regardless, even if Scott has commented on them being separate canons. On another note, a good portion of the other novels and even a few side games are in a grey area on whether they’re directly canon or not and as a result for simplicity sake, we will be compositing Fazbear Frights, the novel trilogy, the CYOA novels, the games, and the film’s depictions of Afton. And finally, we will be ignoring the “Fanverse” just to keep things as simple as we can. Sorry to those who wanted to see if Afton scaled to Flumpty. As for a couple other important things, FNAF World is obviously being ignored (It’s probably a dream??) and Dead by Daylight is just a non-canon crossover, so it will mostly be ignored.
Quick Disclaimer
Over the years there have been a few Springtrap blogs, in particular there is another Junko vs Springtrap blog that exists out there, likely planned prior to this. We just wanted to come out and say that this blog is by no means meant to be a counterstrike or ‘response’ to the other Junkotrap blog, nor is it made in any way to spite anyone who has made an Afton blog beforehand. This blog was conceptualized over a stupid bet over Wile E. Coyote vs Tom (fuck you Tru) and we didn’t really know another blog was being worked on for this, so please don’t come into this thinking we had some grand agenda. A few of their members of the blog were kind enough to help guide us in the research process and where to look for the most key things, and we greatly appreciate them for that.
Oh and of course for both of them, preemptive spoiler alert! Especially for a series like Danganronpa where it is built upon mystery and suspense.

Background
Junko Enoshima
Despair is a narcotic. It lulls the mind into indifference. But in the case of Junko Enoshima, indifference was just the tip of the iceberg.
When she and her sister Mukuro Ikusaba were young, they lived in terrible conditions and were eventually homeless. Because of this, Junko felt like her own birth was nothing but a mistake. Rather than stay hopeful for her future, she quickly relished in the feeling of despair as she saw it as something unpredictable and nothing her analytic skills could predict. Thus, Junko began planning what she called “The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event In Human History" and took it upon herself to refer to herself and Mukuro as the Ultimate Despair.
Junko would grow up to become a fashion model and became one of the most beloved idols across Japan. With this fame came an invitation to the well-renowned school for many talented students known as Hope’s Peak Academy, attending alongside the rest of Class 78 as the Ultimate Fashionista. However, becoming a student at the academy only aided her in her quest to drown the world in never-ending despair. She convinced Izuru Kamukura to assist her and Mukuro, brainwashed all of Class 77-B into becoming members of Ultimate Despair through the death of Chiaki Nanami and even trapped her own classmates inside Hope’s Peak.
While the outside world went up in flames caused by her own desire for despair, Junko’s classmates were forced into a killing game that she conducted while they were left unconscious inside the building. She was able to hide her true identity as the mastermind behind the Killing School Life with Mukuro taking her sister’s identity whilst Junko herself took control of her very own mascot of despair, a robotic teddy bear named Monokuma. After many gruesome murders and even more gruesome executions for each culprit, Junko was eventually revealed as the mastermind by the Ultimate Lucky Student and Ultimate Hope Makoto Naegi which led to her own downfall. Driven by the despair of her own defeat, Junko took it upon herself to take her own life by enduring the Ultimate Punishment where she soon died.
While the Killing School Life may have come to an end, Junko’s influence continued to spread across the globe even after her death. She still had her followers and more importantly, her AI. She had prepared to make one of herself ahead of time had she perished. This AI was a perfect replica of Junko’s personality and it had the same goal as before, she would continue to spread despair across the world. As her followers began to dissipate, there was still a way to turn this all back around, the Remnants of Despair. Class 77-B was still out there and Izuru Kamukura had the idea of implanting the AI into the entire class.
So in a crazy move, the Remnants of Despair allowed themselves to be captured and be put in the Neo World Program. While this program was intended to cure them of their despair by replacing their memories of Hope’s Peak with their time on this virtual island, Izuru had infected it with the AI of Junko for a different purpose. The Remnants had been restored to their original selves back in Hope’s Peak but Junko had interfered once more in the virtual world to host another killing game. She forced the class to kill each other just like with Class 78 and eventually have enough bodies to upload herself in and spread herself across the world to show that despair can never truly die. However, in a fitting twist of fate, Izuru now reverted back as Hajime teamed up with Makoto to fight back against her plan and put an end to reign once and for all and destroy the AI Junko for good. The chaos and sorrow she caused had finally been brought to a close with the combined efforts of the remaining members of Class 78 and Class 77-B, the two classes she had brought the most misery too. Even so, Junko Enoshima made a huge impact on the world with the despair that she caused and she won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
Springtrap
“You may not recognize me at first, but I assure you, it’s still me.”
America. The land of the free. A country where the dream of success, riches and fame can be yours through nothing but your hard work and determination. With endless ambition and a burning desire to make that dream come true, William Afton left England for the USA, but pride comes before the fall, and only shattered dreams would lay in the wake of the monster who would terrorise the souls of children for decades.
A shrewd businessman, the young father would go into business with animatronic expert Henry Emily, and together they would found Fredbear's Family Diner. With magic and fun for the whole family where you could eat affordably, alongside singing animals and actors in suits to entertain the kids, the business was a rousing success! But William's keen business sense was overshadowed by Henry's magic touch with machines. Their signature springlock suits were revolutionary for the time, but Henry's goals were set on greater heights, and Afton grew envious of his partner's genius.
Envy that grew to jealousy, then to anger, and spite. As events in the timeline begin to get a little hazy, the partners expanded out into Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, but one day William's oldest son, Michael, would play a horrifying prank upon his younger brother. Putting the terrified crying child's head into the Fredbear suit's mouth, his tears caused the springlocks to snap shut, crushing his head and leading to his death. While Michael was traumatised and wracked with guilt for the rest of his life over it, William's grief turned to all consuming rage, and mixed with his hatred of Henry Emily, he lashed out in anger, murdering Henry's innocent daughter Charlotte just to make him feel what the loss of a child was like. It was William's first act as a cold blooded killer, but it would be far from the last.
With a taste for murder, Afton started donning the Spring Bonnie Suit in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, luring children into the back rooms and stuffing their bodies into the animatronics. Their business was suffering, but William was on a high, and Henry was drowning in grief. Yet William began to notice something strange one day. The animatronics which hid the bodies of the dead children were beginning to act a little... strange. Like they were possessed, which in fact they were, with the lingering souls of Afton's murder victims. This sparked a fervor within William, studying this new form of life within the soul that persisted in metal after death. With the possibility of immortality and the chance to put his son back together, his research into Remnant saw countless children sacrificed to fuel his mad aims.
But the souls of his victims longed for his death, years after the fact, and they would eventually get the chance to take their vengeance, forcing William into the Spring Bonnie suit to try and protect him, but his haven would become a death trap; the locks springing shut and driving themselves into him, drowning the madman in his own blood. As the monster lay dying, haunted by the ghosts of his victims, he stubbornly clung to life in any way he could, and through the body of William Afton would be nothing more than a rotting corpse, his soul would bond to the suit, coming back as he always does, reborn as Springtrap.
Locked behind a wall in the sealed ruins of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, he laid there for 30 years until he would eventually be uncovered in its renovation to become Fazbear Frights, and who else would he find but his son, Michael, who had spent his entire life trying to destroy all of his father's creations and burn down his evil, piece by piece, until the slate was all wiped clean. And though Springtrap would survive the first building fire, one final plan set into place by his son and old business partner would see all of them, and everything left of William's hatred, locked into a labyrinth with no exit; a maze with no prize. Together, they all burned, as fires cleansed the Remnant of his tortured victims, Henry, Charlotte and Michael finally found eternal rest, and William was swallowed up into the darkest pit of hell, left to eternal torment at the devil's hands, never to return.
Thus, it ended for all of them, and the memory of everything that started this could finally fade away, as the agony of every tragedy should.
Or at least, that’s where the memory should have faded. Even with William gone, his horrific legacy carried on. Be it through agonizing ghouls or rouge ai, others would take on his form and ensure the pain that he caused would leave a stain on the world that could never be erased. Whether it be William himself or not, the yellow rabbit always comes back.
Experience, Skill & Intelligence
Junko Enoshima
Upupupupu, While she may not be used to physical combat for the most part (though she did beat the ultimate boxer in a fight), Junko is in actuality a genius. Junko is very versatile when it comes to making everyone crumble under the pressure of despair. She excels in scheming plans to put her targets in a position where they feel they have no hope of winning. This can be seen with her capture of the 78th class and forcing them all into a killing game, pushing the entire class to their breaking points and setting off a good amount to kill each other. This was also shown when she introduced the 1st killing game to Student Council, making them kill each other while putting all the blame onto Izuru Kamukura, which would worsen the reputation that Hope’s Peak once had or when she used Chisa Yukizome to execute Chiaki Nanami and caused despair to spread on the Class 77-B students and used them to spread despair even further across the world, completely destroying Hope’s Peak reputation.
She also is a master in manipulating people’s emotions or actions to fit her goals, using their weakness for herself. Such was when she coerced Juzo Sakakura to plead her innocence so she would avoid being apprehended. Manipulating the warriors of hope into believing she loved them when they were just pawns in her grand plan. Even as an AI, she was able to provoke the kids and adults to be pitted against each other in order to spread despair and attempt to lead them into a full on war. She would even incite riots such as when she manipulated the reserve course to overrun Hope’s Peak Academy and kill the students in the main course. She’d used Izuru Kamukura’s curiosity to have him work for her and convinced him to help her take over the Neo World Program by having him upload her AI into the simulation. She used Sonia Nevermind and The Ultimate Imposter to create Nuclear threat to other countries which eventually caused global panic. Despite being around the age of a high school student, the depths of her manipulation and scheming is quite impressive. Which supposedly makes sense. Makoto claims she has much more charm and influence than any other high school girl in their country and Izuru states that she’s an expert at controlling people.
And now probably the scariest feat that showcases her intelligence, planning and manipulation, is that she was the one who staged The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History… And succeeded. And what she had done through it was horrifying; She nearly caused the total destruction of human history, shook the entire foundation of society to its core, caused people’s shock for their actions disappear and regressed the world into a more uncivilized era where senseless death and murders were the complete norm, her plan forced people all over the world to murder each other overflowing the media with death reports, people got so used to it that they would watch them while simply enjoying a nice meal. People became completely insane. Her movement spread across the internet and created a massive following through this too, being followed by not just students, but people from different races and nations started to join her as well, not just in the internet, but it was also eroding the real world. It caused tech-savvy people to create software to spread despair around. It influenced people like Monaca to create millions of Monokuma units just to meet her expectations. She caused Terrorism and coup d’etats across the world and caused war to happen globally, not a war that happened because of greed, ideals or religions, but simply for pure war and chaos. A war simply for despair. Everyone was simply stuck in the palm of her hands
She didn’t just manipulate regular people however, she caused the key members of society to use their influence so that they could brainwash the masses, made the powerful and influential to create new values and morals to spread more despair, she indirectly caused horrible atmospheric pollution that made almost the entire planet uninhabitable if there wasn’t a company that effective air purification systems, however the truth was, that the same company had contributed to said pollution just for some extra profit, and lastly she caused governments all across the globe to stop functioning properly and made the government’s authority ineffective. Even after her death, the devastating effects of the tragedy never left the world. Her mere influence indirectly caused mutual killings between the Future Foundations members and through her suicide video she caused the fear of there being a serial killer on the loose, which there wasn’t. Which caused even more panic and in-fighting. Even though she was defeated, she gave the world a nasty scar that would’ve never healed. Very impressive for a highschool girl!
Springtrap
Even before becoming Springtrap, William Afton has always been a cunning and intelligent foe, with Scott Cawthon even referring to him as a “Snake Oil Salesmen” to further push just how cunning he is. He’s said to be even more brilliant than Henry Emily and he’s gotten away with multiple killing sprees and could not get convicted due to lack of evidence, but a key part in this is Afton’s genius scheming and inventing abilities. Being the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment, Afton is quite skilled in making state of the art robotics, having contributed to the revolutionary miracle of springlock suits at the time, and being the inventor of many sets of animatronics such as the Funtime and Twisted Animatronics. He’s even created weirder inventions like the S.C.U.P.E.R., a machine that can inject remnant into someone and a microchip that can disguise someone’s appearance.
While Afton has never actually thrown hands with someone, he's a proficient killer and a master of stealth being in the game for ten to twenty years. In the novels he'd use fake aliases to stay under the radar and has easily snuck up on several people to deliver a killing blow. He may not be the best at in-the-moment decision making, but he's carefully formed long term plans to achieve his goals in every canon. On top of being a brilliant engineer and being an overall pretty stealthy dude, he's a mad scientist at heart. He's experimented with Remnant and the emotions that power it, all in an attempt to unlock immortality... which with all things considered was technically a success!
Equipment
Junko Enoshima
Knives
Junko has wielded a multitude of knives across the series, most notably switchblades, kitchen knives, steak knives, and a specialised hunting knife with a serrated edge that she planned to kill Makoto with. Needless to say, she’s very at home with these weapons.
Disguise
In order to keep the true nature of her identity hidden from the remaining body of Hope’s Peak, Junko put on a disguise of a lab coat and Luchador Mask in order to knock out Naegi, attempt to kill him, and raid a hidden room Kyoko had hidden Alter Ego.
Emergency Override
A button Junko has, which, in case of emergencies, could open up Hope’s Peak and release the cast from the killing game. She doesn’t use this in canon for obvious reasons.
Ice Pick
An ice pick she carries around, it has a thin blade useful for stabbing. Or, y’know, cutting ice too I guess.
Baseball Bat
A baseball bat Junko has for busting kneecaps.
Taser Gun
It may seem like a regular taser gun but Junko had modified its electric currents so that it packed more of a punch behind each shock.
Grenade
She’s just a lil wacky and silly.
Poisonous Lipstick
As you can expect, a lipstick that has been tainted with poison. It doesn’t kill anyone but it’s enough to paralyse anyone with a kiss.
Firearms
In order to keep everyone within the Trigger Happy Havoc cast in line, she has a variety of gun turrets lined up around the school. There’s a set in front of the doors to guard against anyone who may try to open up the doors to Hope’s Peak. There’s also some by the locker rooms which will turn you into swiss cheese if you attempt to go into the opposite gender room.
Brainwashing Technology
With the help of Ryota Mitari, the Ultimate Animator, Junko was able to manipulate her way into getting videos that would be motivating enough to infect those who watch said videos with despair. By using a variety of video making techniques to influence the viewer’s experience watching it, these videos can let Junko have near complete control over anybody’s actions by exposing them to it, even if they’re unwilling to do so. These videos were even able to corrupt not just Chisa Yukizome and Class 77-B but even Makoto Naegi, the Ultimate Hope himself, who nearly took his own life before he was snapped out of his trance. These videos are also capable of making people commit suicide, just like what she did to the reserve course students by driving them to unbearable despair.
Danganronpa 1 Monomono Machine Items
In the Daily Life of Danganronpa, you can pick up a variety of items from the Monomono machine, mainly so you have something to give your classmates during the free time events. Now while Makoto is the one who collects them, Junko is the one who stocked up the machine in the first place. These items include, but are not limited to:
Executions
For those who know even a bit of Danganronpa, you are very likely aware of the insane and over the top executions that lie in wait for those who blackened their souls and took the life of another, while also getting caught in the act during the Class Trial. And it’s not like it's just a simple execution, as there is a special, and specific execution for each person who is put up on the line for executions.
Blast-Off!
Ah the very first ever execution in Danganronpa history, used to take out the headmaster of Hope’s Peak, Jin Kirigiri. The victim is shoved into a rocket and is flown very high up into the sky, reaching space… before coming all the way down, being reduced to a skeleton from the G-Forces.
In the Second Ignition variation used on Kaito Momota, the rocket was able to drill through the underside of the massive spaceship, replicating as if it were drilling through the planet itself by going through a ton stone, a lava filled center, through the ocean until it finally reaches out of clouds and into the sky.
Spears of Gungnir
(This is Mukuro in disguise as Junko, just to clarify)
Named after the Norse God Odin’s legendary spear, the Spears of Gungnir are a barrage of sharp metal spears Junko calls down to skewer her target. As seen above, it was used to execute Mukuro Ikusaba, Junko’s own sister.
In Danganronpa: IF, an alternate version of the events of Trigger Happy Havoc where Makoto is shocked into regaining his memories at the start and saves Mukuro at the expense of taking one spear through the gut, just that one was nearly lethal, and required immediate medical attention, including several blood transfusions, just for him to survive. Junko has upwards of 10 spears to throw at once; potentially more!
The 1,000 Blows
Here is the execution Junko had ready for Leon Kuwata, the Ultimate Baseball Star. In this execution, the victim is tied to a pole in the middle of a batting cage, and once the baseball machine rises, the victim gets pelted by an endless stream of baseballs while a participating Monokuma bats away the ricocheting balls. The machine won’t stop until it fires off 1,000 balls as the name suggests.
The Cage of Death
The execution used for Mondo Owada, the Ultimate Biker Gang, where Junko straps her victim to a motorcycle driving around an electrified cage until they literally melt into butter (and we mean literal, actual butter).
I can’t believe it's Mondo butter.
Burning of the Versailles Witch
The execution used for Celestia Ludenberg, the Ultimate Gambler. Junko traps her victim and burns them alive at the stake, a fitting death for those who hold themselves in high regard… but then they just get hit by a fire truck instead.
Excavator Destroyer
The execution used for the AI created by Chihiro Fujisaki, Alter Ego. Junko controls an excavator to repeatedly bash and crush the victim until they’re reduced to just a metal ball.
After School Lesson
The execution that was intended to be used for Makoto Naegi (or Kyoko Kirigiri in the game’s bad ending). Junko traps her victim to a school desk as they’re slowly sliding backwards towards a giant crusher which will kill them violently and brutally. Her victim is forced to sit helpless and writhe in despair and fear of their imminent demise before suffering a truly gruesome fate.
The Ultimate Punishment
The execution used on Junko herself once she lost the final class trial and Hope triumphed over Despair. It’s a lightning round of every single previous execution one after the other, which Junko survived without a scratch until she was crushed to death by the After School Lesson.
Chiaki Nanami’s Execution
In order to make some despair-obsessed henchmen out of Class 77-B, Junko traps Chiaki in a maze-like execution filled to the brim with numerous traps such as spikes in the floor, iron balls and boomerangs. She did make it to the exit…but she was quickly killed with a spear and tons of spears from below.
Der Flohwalzer
The execution for the initial protagonist, Kaede Akamatsu. The victim is dragged by the neck by a long cable and is hung around a giant piano. Using the victim’s body, they are dragged around the piano as they play Flea Waltz to a giant crowd of Monokumas. As they continue playing it, the victim slowly suffocates being swung around until eventually they aren’t able to breathe any longer once the song is completed. Now fully hanged, the victim’s body is left to be crushed by a giant pillar of spikes, smashing them completely in a gruesome end.
Strand of Agony
Made for Kirumi Tojo, this execution sees the victim climb a long thorn covered rope all the way to the top in order to escape. Bleeding from the hands as the victim struggles to climb up, they are met with several saw blade traps that slice the victim all over and severely injure them. And the reward for the victim at the end of the rope is met with a cruel twist of fate as there is no escape. The thorn rope snaps and the victim lands all the way back down, dying to the heavy impact of the fall.
Cultural Melting Pot
Made for Korekiyo Shinguji, this execution has the victim be spun around on a rope until the rope is sliced by a katana, leading the victim to be dropped into a melting pot. The fire intensifies as the victim begins to be cooked alive until the melt. Now dead, the victim may find some peace as a spirit… Only to not even have that as Monokuma rains down salt at the victim and their spirit begins to melt until no trace of the remains. (Tbh kinda deserved)
Wild West Insecticide
Made for 😢😢😢😢😢…Gonta Gokuhara, this execution has the victim chained up to a wooden pole as Monokuma lines up wild west style and aims his gun towards the victim. The bullets however are robotic bees, which he shoots a whole flurry of them at the victim, stinging them greatly. Until randomly a giant insect creature comes out of nowhere (you don’t wanna know) and impales the victim. Monokuma then burns both the creature and the victim with a flamethrower, leaving them in a fiery blaze.
Flashback Lights
While initially believed to restore memories, these flashback lights are used by Monokuma to implant false memories into their respective targets. The exact specifics on how they function is that they can send light waves into the brain. These light waves are converted pieces of information which leads to the target to experience a deja vu effect, making it appear as though this information had occurred in the past. This was used on the Ultimate Academy to form their entire personality, their own talents which are about on par with those from the main academy and all of their life’s memories. It should be noted that it can only add new memories and cannot restore old memories.
Body Swapping Charm
In one of the side mangas, Monokuma slips a charm onto Toko’s notebook that, after a scuffle with her and Byakuya, causes them to swap bodies. Now while the effect may be permanent, it will reverse back if the two swapped bodies collide again. Interestingly though, it can also affect alternate personalities of those who are swapped, as Genocider Syo was swapped during the swap back between Toko and Byakuya.
Springtrap
Spring Bonnie Springlock Suit
The iconic suit William used for his murders. He would be forced into it after being cornered by the spirits of his victims. Originally, these suits doubled as an Animatronic as well, but with the new function to have their insides compressed and make room for the wearer. The only catch is that they’re ridiculously sensitive, with even the most minor of faults causing the entire thing to just crush the wearer and that’s exactly what happened to Willy here. Now trapped in the suit forever, his soul would bond to the metal with Remnant as his corpse rotted inside. This thing is actually pretty tough as it shielded Afton from bullets in both the books and the movie. Being a co-founder/owner, William has access to plenty of suits, which he’s used to entrap people in the novels. The Springlocks themselves are strong enough to tear through bone and snap broom handles.
Knives
As an expert in the art of killing, William naturally has knives for stabbing. There’s never been a single kind that he’s used. Seemingly just whatever he can get his grubby mits on. In Dead by Daylight, he specifically uses a pizza cutting knife, although in the movie it’s just a typical kitchen knife.
Sound Illusions Discs
In the novels, these are explained to emit a sort of high-pitched signal. Making a target feel ill and changing their perception of something (In this case, animatronics.) Essentially making your brain play tricks on you. By making it fill in the blanks with preexisting memories of how something should look. These devices emit five sound waves in an erratic pattern that vary in frequency, sometimes matching each other but swifting mismatching. The tone fluctuations happen so fast that they can only be detected through the subconscious and immediately overwhelming the mind. It’s essentially the opposite of white noise. In one short story, Lucky Boy, suggested through the use of an Illusion Disk was able to make a guy mutilate himself and "appear more attractive”.
Purple Lambo
A purple car that William owns, we first see it in during FNAF 2 when he executes his drive-by murder of Charlotte Emily. He also uses it during the Midnight Motorist minigame in FNAF 6. He could probably run someone over if he wanted to. In the movie, Afton drives a Ford Futura specifically. Also we still haven’t solved Midnight Motorist… (We’re never going to tbh)
Life Support Wheelchair
In the Fourth Closet, Afton while outside of the suit zips around in a mechanical wheelchair with all sorts of stuff hooked up to it to help with his pain.
Remnant Syringe
Kind of self explanatory. During his experiments using Remnant, Afton would extract the very substance and inject it into animatronics…. And people.
Fredbear Plush
A small plush toy given to the Crying Child as a seemingly comforting gift. It has a radio or something in it for Afton to communicate through and it is just kinda cute. If you're brainrotted enough, you can argue it teleports too. He’s here, he’s there, he’s everywhere…
The Scooper
While Afton isn't gonna be lugging this thing around, it is his creation and at least warrants a mention. It’s a device that Afton invented to be able to both inject and extract Remnant from a subject. It can also scoop out the indo skeletons of the Funtime animatronics… and was used to punch a hole in Michael Afton’s stomach to make room for Ennard to pilot him, like a fucked up Voltron. It would also seem that Fazebear Entertainment would actually go on to later improve on the Scooper, as seen when it incapacitates The Mimic in the Ruin DLC.
Nightmare Gas
Likely used during his experiments with Remnant, Afton has used hallucinogenic gasses on kidnapped children within a fake house to experiment with fear. This is specifically brought to light in the Dittophobia novel where Rory perceives what are actually just limp robots as vicious monsters attacking him, not only distorting his vision but also his other senses as well, such as him being able to feel his room shake during their pursuits and even hearing them. It even distorts the environment itself to an extent and even made Rory look 10 years younger than he actually was. This is seemingly directly tied to the fourth game where William does essentially the same thing to Michael. The hallucinations brought on by a special gas was also revealed to have been used on many other children before Rory, seemingly happening for around 10 years, if not more.
Abilities
Junko Enoshima
Ultimate Talents
Within the world of Danganronpa, the title of “Ultimate” typically refers to a talent or field that a person may excel in, such as Ultimate Detective, Ultimate Musician, or Ultimate Nurse. Junko is such an example, although she is a rare case as she has more than one Ultimate talent.
Ultimate Fashionista
The Ultimate Talent that Junko learned to become in order to fool Hope’s Peak into enrolling her. Though it was for an ulterior motive in the end, she is genuinely considered the Ultimate Fashionista, and had several photoshoots, interviews, magazine covers and articles, etc. all in pursuit of this. A very thorough and deep cover is only made foolproof if it’s genuine.
She did have that shit on tho as the kids would say nowadays.
Ultimate Despair
Her true Ultimate Talent or so she says. Junko can cause anyone to fall into despair through manipulation and detecting her target’s weakness thanks to her skills as an Ultimate Analyst (more on that in the next section), crushing their hope in the process. She also happens to be capable of sensing both despair and hope in those around her such as when she sensed how much hope Makoto had. However this despair stuff isn't some kind of game to her, it's her lifestyle, in fact, she can think of exactly 20,264 ways to give someone a despair-inducing surprise! Have you ever given someone despair with your life on the line!
Ultimate Analyst
Underneath all that makeup, clothes, and despair lies Junko’s actual true talent as the Ultimate Analyst, which gives her the near perfect ability to analyze any information and predict how any events will go down. She’s able to analyze anything instantaneously like it’s just data with just a simple glance, allowing her to determine her target’s personality, ability, skills, thoughts, history and how she could use this for her own benefits without having any prior knowledge of the person. Even just simply passing by Ryota, she instantly recognized he would be essential in her goal despite having no prior knowledge of him.
This talent is frankly absurd with what she can achieve. She can predict the future and has borderline precognition, almost as if she was writing and looking into the script of the world itself. With the Ultimate Analyst, she’s capable of predicting what a person is going to do, what a person is going to say (such as her saying Makoto was correct before even stating his answer), predicting how they're going to react to certain things and predicting what their next thoughts are. She can analyze your thoughts, actions and movements to accurately predict the next move you’d take and if you try any countermeasures on her talent, she can predict those too. She can also accurately predict and set trends, which is how she became the ultimate fashionista! Some of these feats were done while she was an amnesiac known as Ryoko Otonashi, showing how her talent’s imbued in her. Of course, her talent is crazier than just that as she used this talent of hers to predict the entire sequence of events of Danganronpa Zero, including all the actions her love interests Yasuke Matsuda would take, every action herself, while she was Ryoko Otonashi, would take and every action everyone else in this story would take which includes; Mukuro Ikusaba, Makoto Naegi, Kyoko Kirigiri, Yuto Kamishiro and the entire steering committee. She was even able to plan out her own brainwashing and the events which would lead to her breaking free of it, with full certainty that it would come to pass. Finally, as we all know, she has used this talent to predict the tragedy in explicit detail, knowing all the events that would have happened in it. She knew everything in such perfect detail and predicted it so well, she got bored of the entire tragedy.
This talent of Analysis granted Junko super enhanced senses. Even through simply meeting Izuru Kamukura, she was able to recognize that he also had the ultimate analyst talent and figured out that he knew that any attack against him would be completely useless. She was able to use this talent to sense potential in Ryota by just walking by him and was able to sense and feel the incredible strength Makoto had at his core by looking in his eyes for just a moment, even though moments earlier she saw him as completely average and thought of him as someone with a weak presence.
However, her Ultimate Analyst doesn’t end with her insane prediction and knowledge of her target as due to her analyst ability allowing her to analyze surroundings and take data at incredible speed, it also allowed her to learn the skills and abilities of others and use said knowledge for herself! She essentially copied their whole flow, such as when she analyzed Ryota’s video making techniques instantly, how she analyzed Chihiro’s talent to be able to create her own Alter Ego AI, or how she analyzed and took Yasuke’s techniques of his Neurologist talent to be able to manipulate the mind, their emotions and their memories. Speaking of her AI, Alter Ego Chihiro stated that Alter Ego Junko was behaving in a way that she already knew what Alter Ego Chihiro was about to do, showing that even as an AI, Junko has this stupid power.
So this talent is much more powerful than one might think, no wonder she got bored with life because of how she knew and predicted every second of it.
Ultimate Neurologist
After killing Yusuke, the real Ultimate Neurologist, Junko stole his research in neurology and gained more extensive knowledge on the brain and nervous systems as well as some methods on manipulating another person’s memories. She would use this newfound research as a way to erase her classmate’s memories from the past two years of attending Hope’s Peak Academy and brainwashing Class-77B, turning them into the remnants of despair.
In the Virtual World (more on that later), she would once again use this technique to manipulate the memories and emotions of Class-77B, only in the form of the WORST plot device EVER, The Despair Disease. This disease caused the victims’ personality to do a complete 180°, turning them the polar opposite. Unfortunately for Pittheswordmaster, this disease also affected Mikan, who instead of getting her personality turned into the polar-opposite, forced her to remember her time as a Remnant of Despair and make her lose her mind.
God, Chapter 3 is SUCH a good Chapter!!!
Ultimate Programmer
While she isn’t as skilled as Chihiro, thanks to her talent as an analyst, she was able to become an incredibly skilled programmer by picking up his techniques and skill. With these programming skills, Junko was more than capable of creating an AI of herself that would come in handy for taking full control of the Neo World Program, a digital world that was made to bring Class 77-B back to their original state that would quickly turn into a brand new killing game courtesy of Junko’s Alter Ego corrupting the digital world long past her death in the real world. Besides that, Junko was able to use this Ultimate Talent to take advantage of and use Ryota’s Brainwashing technology for her own sake.
Resistances
Electricity: Junko survived the Cage of Death execution, which electrocutes the victim, unharmed.
Extreme Pressure: Another factor of surviving the cage of Death was enduring enough pressure to turn your body into liquid, which she was unaffected by afterwards.
Fire: As she was making her way through the Ultimate Punishment, Junko was able to endure the heat when sitting in a pit of fire during The Burning of the Versailles Witch.
Extreme Pain: Junko was able to endure the onslaught of every previous Execution up to the After School Lesson entirely unscathed, when they’d killed her fellow classmates and headmaster.
Springtrap
Remnant
Ever wonder why spirits can be attached to smelly old robots? Well here’s your explanation. Essentially, when fueled by any multitude of strong emotions and past experiences, a stubborn enough (or unlucky enough) soul can latch or be attached onto a specific object. In this case, a Spring Bonnie Suit. While William is just one of many people to be in this situation, he's the only one to have extensively studied it in and out.
Typically, Remnant appears as a ghostly ball of light. But, more importantly here, it becomes a liquid through either exposure to heat or when it possesses an object. Which can be used in a multitude of ways. Like in the Special Delivery game, it's specifically used to enhance animatronics and make them tougher. A similar case occurs with Eleanor in the Fazebear Frights novels, not only using Remnant to gain more power, but it's also said to be able to heal fatal wounds. It’s even insinuated to grant the memories of others and as shown in the novels injecting one person with another’s remnant will basically allow you to see their soul, with William seemingly having done this himself. Afton spent years tinkering with this stuff and even building things able to extract it. Which led him to the conclusion that it's basically the key to immortality and to the realization that Agony is the strongest emotion.
Agony (See Before the Verdict)
In the world of Five Nights At Freddy’s, it is not simply the ghosts of the undead that have power. The very concept of human emotions has power and no other emotion can contest the raw power of agony. The emotion of agony is unique among the rest as it can not only be used for energy, but it can also be attuned with Afton’s paranormal abilities to be used in a variety of ways. Here are a few ways that agony has been used not just by William, but by other beings within his world:
Soul Splitting: By manifesting the positive energy of his best memories, Jake was able to separate Andrew and Afton’s souls from each other, allowing (and essentially forcing) his friend to finally move on to the afterlife.
Pain/Soul Manipulation: Spirits can latch on to souls causing them immense pain, likely to the same degree Andrew did to afton making him endlessly “die.” In addition, Afton can stab someone and infect them with his soul, leading to extreme pain and potentially death. However, it is still his soul, which means it can be cured if the wound experiences contact with a high enough temperature.
Data Manipulation and Consensus Forming: Matt's collective negative emotions (agony) caused the Springtrap.exe character to become sentient and eventually became real. It’s implied Afton's agony was used to make Glitchtrap (Debatable, see Before the Verdict)
Electric Shocks: When infected by Andrew’s agony, a battery was able to deliver electric shocks that could instantly kill a man, completely drying them up and leaving disgusting black goop leaking from their eyes.
Memory Manipulation: The Stitchwraith could read a person’s memories simply by making physical contact with them, giving him their whole life story in an instant. If he focuses hard enough, he could force them to focus on a specific memory and mess with their mental state. Though he used it for a much more positive reason than Afton would use it for.
Hallucinations
Fitting for a ghostly slasher like him, Springtrap is able to create hallucinations to mess with the heads of his victims. The most iconic of these hallucinations being none other than the Phantom Animatronics from his debut game:
Phantom Freddy: A phantom of the star of the show, Phantom Freddy limps around Fazbear’s Fright. Once he jumpscares a victim, he causes them to black out and messes with the ventilation system.
Phantom Chica: A watermelon phantom of the lady of the group, Phantom Chica can be seen hiding in an arcade machine ready to strike. Once she is spotted, she jumpscares the poor soul who spotted her and causes them to blackout before messing with the ventilation system. Sounds familiar?
Phantom Foxy: A phantom of the captain of Pirate’s Cove, Phantom Foxy randomly spawns in front of his victims when least expected and jumpscares them. Once jumpscared, his victim blacks out briefly and he messes with the ventilation system. I think I see a pattern…
Phantom Balloon Boy: A phantom of a forgotten member of the Fazbear family, Phantom Balloon Boy waits for his victim to open the cameras before striking. Once spotted, he jumpscares them the moment they pull the camera down. I think you can guess what happens once he does that.
Phantom Marionette: A phantom of the animatronic that failed to save Afton’s very first victim, Phantom Puppet waits for her victim to spot her. Once they do, she teleports in front of their face, blocking their view for ten seconds. She also disables a certain system. Take a wild fucking guess as to which one.
Phantom Mangle: A phantom of a forgotten version of the fox, Phantom Mangle waits on cameras for her victims. Once he is spotted, they MESS WITH THE VENTILATION- wait they don’t do that? Instead, Phantom Mangle appears in front of her victim and lets out a loud and annoying screech that causes an audio error.
However these are not the only types of hallucinations that Afton has. He also has more general hallucinations that take from both the memories of his victims and the surrounding environment to ensure that they’re vulnerable and make it easy for him to strike. Here are a few examples of what he did to a poor night guard named Hudson.
He caused Hudson to hallucinate, punching out one of Springtrap’s teeth.
He replicated the voices of multiple people in Hudson’s past, including his old algebra teacher and his step dad.
He caused a similar memory experience except it was even more potent. Hudson nearly drowned himself in a toilet from hallucinating a bad memory with his former bullies. However Hudson didn’t even put his head in the toilet. The entire experience, down to the scent of urine in the toilet was an illusion.
He caused Hudson to hallucinate various animatronic parts coming to life and assaulting him, also using the voices of people from his past. (A specific example being a chica prop that latched onto him and using the voice of a woman he went on a date with recently)
He caused Hudson to hallucinate an entire wall of Fazbear merchandise blocking the exit.
Stealth
Thanks to the darkness of his suit, Springtrap is able to blend fairly well in shadows across certain layouts he’s trapped in, particularly in FNAF 3 when wandering around Fazbear’s Fright. This can make him rather difficult to spot when checking to see his whereabouts through the cameras. This talent is also showcased in the novels, with Afton performing a few stealthy take downs on unsuspecting victims despite wearing that clunky ass suit.
Soul Detection
Souls in FNAF have the ability to detect the souls of other people. This is possible whether it’s someone who is alive or not. This could also explain how characters like Foxy are capable of perceiving almost imperceptible noises in The Week Before.
Technology Manipulation
In Fnaf 3, the security cameras would temporarily short out whenever Afton moved his position. There are also cases of other Animatronics being able to tamper with electronics in minor ways, like in the movie continuity where the Animatronics could manipulate speakers and spot lights and it is insinuated that in the Week Before novel, they can shift images on the monitors to mess with Ralph. It also just happens in the original game.
Magnetism
Afton can drag any nearby metallic objects towards him to attach to his body. This can range from spare animatronic parts to an entire forklift. He mainly used it to form a new metallic shell for himself once the Stitchwraith had gathered enough scrap for him to use. It’s also possible for him to just eject metal from himself as seen when he ejects The Stitchwraith from the amalgamation he was forming.
Resistances
Fire: William was barely able to survive the FNAF 3 fire at Fazbear Frights, which destroyed the building and most of the Spring Bonnie suit. His body in FNAF 6 was severely burned and damaged but he was still hanging on until the final fire destroyed the Remnant binding his soul to the metal and killed him for good.
Electricity: The Spring Bonnie suit should be comparable to the OG Animatronics, who are built to absorb 1.21 Gigawatts of power. Afton and other animatronics within the games can take being shocked multiple times by decently strong electricity, even in the movie Afton was unfazed by a police taser. Which basically downed the other animatronics instantly.
Physical Trauma: As Afton’s body is just a corpse within the suit, his existence is his soul tethered to the Spring Bonnie suit by Remnant. As such, the suit is able to withstand most physical trauma, such as a gunshot.
Mental and Spiritual Trauma: Afton was able to endure UCN which mentally (was seen as a nightmare to the hospital staff) and spirituality made him endlessly “die” with him screaming in agony calling out to Mike and Henry.
Sedatives: Within the novels it's revealed that after becoming Springtrap, Afton cannot sleep regularly without taking enough medicine to kill a normal person. He also survived several direct injections of morphine, more than enough to kill an ordinary human.

Junko Enoshima
Headmaster Monokuma
Upupupupu. The Monokuma that we see in Danganronpa 1 while Junko controls him behind the scenes. While it may be smaller than the other units, the headmaster Monokuma is still rather vicious when it comes to crushing any form of hope that his students have. Obviously Monokuma’s sexy robot body lacks any organic limit our organic body has, such as needing to eat, getting tired or having stuff like organs or free will. Speaking of free will, All Monokuma’s are controlled by an A.I (More on her later) so getting rid of one won’t end it. It also doesn’t help that the robot body of his is durable enough to take hits from people like Sakura, Mukuro and Mondo. Obviously this annoying mascot has a bunch of features that helps him do his evil little deeds across the series;
Claws: Being a bear obviously he has some dangerous claws. Monokuma’s claws are made out of strong metallic alloys, capable of tearing through metal like butter, burst through walls, car doors and any victim near his vicinity.
Camouflage: Inside certain environments, Monokuma can appear completely invisible to the naked eye. Allowing for sneaky quick stealthy slaughter fests!
Monokuma Eye: Monokuma’s iconic red eye is capable of picking up their target's age, name, distance, heart rate and velocity. Allowing him to know whatever he needs about them. This red eye also has an “Eye Mode” which grants him night vision and infrared vision. They do have a limited battery supply.
Afterimages: By moving super fast Monokuma can actually create after-images of himself, insane.
Buff form: Somehow- Monokuma's capable of making himself extremely buff… how? We don't know.
Internal Bomb: Now here comes the interesting part, there are bombs installed into every Monokuma unit, which once detonated, cause a small explosion. It can be remotely activated or through someone attacking the bomb on accident. These bombs also come with motion sensors so that they can be activated immediately once they detect someone trying to tamper with it. Said Motion sensor does stop working if Monokuma himself is deactivated. Before it’s activated the bomb lets out beeps before exploding, allowing you to have at least a small window of escape, which thank god because these explosions are powerful enough to completely destroy a Monokuma unit, severely burn Mukuro’s corpse and were implied to be able to kill Mondo.
Spare Bodies
Naturally, being a robot, Monokuma is mass produced just in case, given a few of the Ultimates in Hope’s Peak are very capable of harming him. As such, if his body is destroyed in some way, a new one will pop right out right after to take the original’s place like nothing ever happened. However these Monokumas don't have to simply be Spare Bodies, as Junko showed in Danganronpa IF to be able to control a whole army of Monokumas at once to fight Mukuro, showing to pilot 100 of them at the bear (hehehe) minimum. And she can program their attack patterns or what they’ll do whenever she wants to.
Monokuma Units
Upupupupu. After the, mysterious, demise of the previous headmaster of Hope’s Peak, Monokuma stepped in to take over and pioneer the beginning of the first proper killing game. Over the course of not just this game, but also Ultra Despair Girls, it's shown that there is seemingly an infinite supply of them, created by the Ultimate Mechanic, Kazuichi Souda. In Danganronpa 1, when Mondo triggers a self-destruct sequence of one, and when the remaining student body finds a deactivated one in the Auditorium, a new one appears later to take its place. And as you can see in Ultra Despair Girls, the gloves are off as now legions of Monokuma are on the loose.
The units were originally created to be maid robots, that would act as domestic helpers and emergency aid workers, but in actuality, they were programmed by Monaca to kill anyone on sight, excluding allies of course. These Units are much different then the usual Headmaster Monokuma. These Units are much taller than the Regular Monokuma, being the size of or even taller than most humans, such as Toko and Komaru. Hell, these units are big enough to eat Komaru whole (UDG man…). Another difference is that these Units aren’t actually controlled by Junko’s AI but by a completely different AI. The AI Monaca gave them is full of bloodlust and is made only for killing anyone they see and spread as much of chaos and despair that they can. This does make these Units much less intelligent compared to the main ones. In fact, they’re more seen as “mindless” compared to the headmaster Monokumas. Regardless of their lack of intelligence they’re still able to use weapons in combat, capable of speech, climb buildings, and piloting vehicles such as helicopters and intentionally crash them. Their AI allows them to follow any order The Warrior of Hopes & Monaca gives them, so even if they are more “animalistic” normally, they can help through smarter ideas. And Lastly these units are much weaker than the Headmaster, although what they lack in power, they make up with their huge numbers.
There’s surprisingly a bunch of unique variants of these Monokuma units that will be listed down below;
Beast Monokuma
Bomber Monokuma
Destroyer Monokuma
Guard Monokuma
Junk Monokuma
Siren Monokuma
Ball Monokuma
Giant Monokuma Unit
Alter Ego Junko
Once inside of the Neo World Program, Junko’s AI gained full control over this simulation and could cause it to collapse into nothing more but a mass of coding. She was capable of manipulating the weather, changing and returning memories whenever she wanted (thanks despair disease), and hijack technology such as hidden cameras to keep track of her targets from anywhere. In fact, Shirokuma was able to hijack and control Big Bang Monokuma as just a head so it’s likely that her technology manipulation wasn’t limited to just the Virtual World. Speaking of bears, the AI is capable of creating our loveable mascot; Monokuma! Well, 10^60 Monokuma’s to be exact, a… bit much but hey it’s her plan. Hell, she was still producing MORE of them. Oh and of course she made a giant avatar of herself but you might have already noticed that.
However, its fault does come from the fact that it can only change and add rules to the Neo World Program and can’t delete them. This means that Junko’s AI would have to follow those rules much like the killing game’s participants. The original Alter Ego, aka Chihiro’s AI, can be thanked for this as it was holding the virus back throughout the game, albeit Chihiro was only capable of slowing her down as it was unable to outright stop her. It was only a matter of time before she gained full control as she stole his authority over the world and a portion of his abilities. Thankfully, they were able to force the Simulation to shut down for good, killing Junko’s AI…OR DID IT?! Because you see after Junko’s death, her AI didn’t only mess with the NWP but it also took over ALL the Monokumas’ brains in the real world. Now they were fully autonomous and had no need to be manually controlled by Junko (then again she was already DEAD), as her AI would be doing all the work of controlling thousands upon thousands of robots in her stead. It helps that the AI and all the units controlled by it, would have Junko’s personality, intelligence and all her ultimate talents, which includes her main one; the Ultimate Analyst.
Shirokuma
Kurokuma
Monaca Towa
As for the wristbands, they each have a special rule on them that the victim cannot break which can be random stuff like if someone else dies before you, if you get punched or kicked, or if someone lives a certain amount of time. Others are more strict and unfair, like witnessing violence, running in the halls, walking through a door, or even simply turning right. If these rules are broken, the victim will be injected with a very lethal poison, killing them almost instantly. They also will inject a sleeping agent after a certain period of time, which knocks everyone with a wristband out, mostly to mask the true nature of the “attackers” in the game. The Danganronpa 3 anime also shows us that she is capable of piloting any of the Warrior’s of Hope mech’s without their pilot. This includes Hero Robot Mark Guyver piloted by Masaru, Fighter Robot Highlander the Great piloted by Kotoko, Priest Robot Doctor VonGerolt piloted by Jataro, Sage Robot Hannibal X piloted by Nagisa. She is able to just self-destruct any of the mechs as well.
Hero Robot Mark Guyver has two twin drills for hands that it uses to attack. It can also do a spin move where it spins around the arena, hitting you if you get close to it. Fighter Robot Highlander the Great floats in the air and wields a giant axe, which it uses to slam the ground and hit you if you aren’t on an elevated platform. Priest Robot Doctor VonGerolt flies in the air and drops bombs and shoots missiles across the battle arena. Lastly, Sage Robot Hannibal X who can also float in the air, wields a sniper rifle, and is capable of moving at fast speeds
Mukuro Ikusaba
Mukuro Ikusaba, the 16th student, lying hidden somewhere within this blog. The one they call the Ultimate Soldier. Watch out for her.
Like Junko, Mukuro was another young homeless girl, who was devoutly loyal to her little sis despite their less than healthy bond with each other. It was also in childhood where Mukuro began taking a strong interest in all things military, which grew when she won a survival game tournament in elementary, which allowed her to write for military magazines. Just before Mukuro entered Middle School, she ran away to the Middle East and joined the elite mercenary group known as Fenrir. Despite her young age, Mukuro became a highly valuable asset to the group, becoming very proficient with firearms and in hand-to-hand combat. She also passed through many battles without getting a wound on her. Upon her return to Japan from the Middle East, she was taken into her sister Junko’s plan of causing the most Despairful tragedy the world ever saw.
Now when it comes to her Ultimate Soldier talent, well, it’ll be simpler to go over what tools she has. First off, she has been stated to be a military specialist trained in every weapon possible. She has a variety of firearms, ranging from handguns, sniper rifles, a large variety of assault rifles, shotguns, pistols, submachine guns, and even rocket launchers. She also has access to a baseball bat, grenades, and a variety of daggers. Combat knives, taser gun, her own poison lipstick, and needles that can brainwash you and remove your memories (in the right set up), among other equipment. She also has a bullet proof vest, which can help protect the wearer from bullets and stab wounds… if only if it actually saved her during the first game. Well if all else, she also has bullet proof… undergarments???
Regardless of that, now it’s time to discuss the main highlight of Mukuro: her skills as a soldier. Obviously she has been trained since young at the mercenary group; Fenrir and has been fighting through countless wars and hellscapes, yet she has not received a single injury throughout her entire life as a soldier. She was the best of all of them, a great feat given that Fenrir themselves were no slouches. Fenrir is an elite fighting unit in the middle east that went through direct combat unlike the military. It was said that a single member of Fenrir was the equivalent to that of an entire army of soldiers. They have been involved in countless military battles and operations, even those that were highly classified. Their mere presence is even able to strike fear into the enemy! Mukuro herself has killed countless people, taken care of ready-to-explode hand grenades, parachuted down the sky in the midst of a barrage of anti-air fire and even through all that, her heart has never been shaken in the battlefield, kind of scary to think about.
She’s also got remarkable endurance as Junko herself stated that Mukuro would have survived the Ultimate Punishment. Next, she’s incredibly adaptable, and can wield basically anything as a weapon, from an IV pole, to a pipe chair, to a lamppost, to even a random tea cup. She also can decapitate people faraway with just her knife and pick up on any sound of movement while fending off a hoard of Monokumas. This is part of her skill in mapping out the battlefield, where she can see out of every corner of her body. Through this skill, she can precisely predict movements and attacks in order to evade being hit by them, along with mapping out the entire field around her and figuring out how to use it to her advantage. Her senses are so strong that this mastery of combat allowed her to dodge an explosion before she even knew it was coming, instinctively destroyed a Monokuma unit with an IV Pole while missing its bomb, letting her instincts lead and dodge attacks even while her concentration is broken, slow down her perception of time, and beat hundreds of Monokumas who knew all of her moves. She’s even defeated other skilled fighters close to or on her level such as Peko Pekoyama, the Ultimate Swordsman, or the Madarai Brothers, the Ultimate Bodyguards.
Besides her terrifying skills in combat, Mukuro herself isn't that far away from having some weird abilities. She’s capable of… flat out teleporting. Not implied teleportation, we’re talking full on teleportation thanks to the shukuchi-jutsu technique. Her singing was also part of what caused the Student Council to murder each other in despairful cold blood, while also being able to throw others into despair just through her actions alone, as shown during the Giboura Middle School Massacre. Once she enters Battle Trance, the battlefield itself becomes a part of herself as she ascends to the level of a machine of violence incarnate. She becomes much faster, stronger and more skilled than she already is. Her very aura froze the air around her including her perception of time. It’s been stated that in this state, Mukuro can go toe to toe with a bloodthirsty Sakura without the need for weapons.
To put it bluntly, she’s called the Ultimate Soldier for a reason.
Springtrap
Circus Baby (Novels)
Quite possibly Afton's most loyal creation. While she may not be "good enough" for him, as suggested with her game counterpart, she's possessed by the soul of his dead daughter and desperate for her father's approval. She obeys his every command and is armed with superhuman strength, bladed weaponry and an extendable claw arm that can reach dozens of feet. She also is equipped with an Illusion Disk. She probably has the best showing when it comes to the use of Illusion Disks. As she was able to infiltrate Charlie's friend group disguised as her for a pretty good while. Even John, while sceptical if this was the real Charlie, was still heavily conflicted by this. She’s also been able to use them offensively, knocking John out almost immediately and making Carlton ill to the point of collapsing.
Balloon Boy Army
Needless to say this would be some annoying shit to encounter. There’s dozens of these little shits, all of varying colors, at least according to the original novel thanks to illusions disks. Even just one Balloon Boy could stealthily travel through vents and snatch your shit in Fnaf 2, so someone’s definitely getting mugged in this.
The Twisted Ones
A small group of animatronics subservient to William, with him having them all linked together with him controlling them through a system used to control their choriography. Thanks to the illusion disks, they can take two forms. Their regular selves, which are rather plain. Just being unremarkable animatronics with a plastic casing. Or they can take a ‘Twisted” appearance, complete with matted hair, tumors and razor sharp teeth. Read more in the upper sections to get more info on illusion disks themselves, but with the Twisteds, they use illusion disks to take a more friendly form and lure in unsuspecting victims. Of course, their main purpose is to murder people, but when the job is done, they’ll strategically bury themselves in hidden locations to keep from being found and Freddy specifically had the unique function to entrap people within his stomach. While these are mainly in the book canon, you can argue they’re sorta hinted at in Midnight Motorist. Chica is also technically a part of this, though she’s really just used in merchandise.
The Shadows
They are uh, certainly there. While we have little more than a couple crumbs to work with, we think it’s at least a reasonable assumption that Afton has control over these guys. Shadow Freddy specifically was used to lure the OG Animatronics into Afton’s trap in FNAF3. Shadow Bonnie does even less but it’s probably worth throwing him out there too.
The Nightmares
Used during Afton’s experiments with hallucinogenic gasses. Their ghastly appearance is a side effect of the gas, while in reality they are just basic animatronics attached to rollers that move around tracks laid along their environment. While they mainly take the form of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy within the novel, the fourth game does add a few more, such as Fredbear, Nightmare, Plushtrap and Balloon Boy. The halloween DLC is mostly non-canon, though it does bring Mangle, the Puppet and a variant of Chica into the mix. Their main purpose is really to just test fear within children.
Endoskeletons
In the silver eyes trilogy, Afton has a plethora of endoskeletons without any outside shell to do his bidding. Nothing special about them but any support is good support. One also appears as an easter egg in Fnaf2, crawling through vents and whatnot. Though Afton has equipped some of them with Illusion Disks or big ass knives in the novels.
Joke Inclusions
You might be wondering what this section is about. To put it simply, both of these two have characters that can be argued as support for them, though they aren't fully viable for one reason or another so do not take this section seriously, it doesn’t contribute to the debate at all. Regardless, we thought it would be funny to include them anyways.
Junko Enoshima
Monokuma Backup Dancers
Upupupupupupu. In the stage play these guys appear in a lot of scenes when it comes to demonstrating a kill, doing an execution, or just general despair-inducing shenanigans and what not. They present several pieces of evidence, wield the Spears of Gungnir whenever a student needs to be punished, can enter cyberspace and mess with technology, launch people into space, and so on. They also can wield a variety of weapons such as the aforementioned spears, katanas, knives, giant syringes, an imitation sword, iron skewers, the wrist bands from Danganronpa 3, and even guns for hands. Their physical showcases are just as impressive as they can also take on several characters in the series such as The Future Foundation and Class 77-B.
It’s worth noting that they also were part of the Suicide Video that was integral to the Killing Game during the events of the Danganronpa 3 Stage Play. This video would induce the victim with so much despair they were willing to off themselves, meaning they can likely apply this on their own as long as they aren’t interrupted. Ibuki’s music also seemed to have no effect on them. Best of all, they have the moves.
Now despite all this, they’re mostly jobbers, as the Future Foundation could beat them with ease and they were vulnerable to Seiko’s pharmaceuticals and Ruruka’s chocolates.
Springtrap
Michael Afton
Arguably William’s least favorite child, Michael Afton is the eldest Afton sibling who’s responsible for both killing his younger brother and letting Ennard out of the underground bunker by using his skin! Good job dude! He’s also a literal purple guy with a love of romantic dramas and art. How the hell did this guy ever get a job? Michael is pretty heavily insinuated to actually have done a fair bit of work for his father, as well as being a lab rat of sorts and having a good bit of experience tinkering with Animatronics. Being the entire reason why he went through the events of Sister Location in the first place. Doing just as his father asked him to. PJ Heywood, Michael's official voice actor, has even commented that Mike is trying to win his father's approval. You could actually argue him being legitimate support…. Until Mike had enough of his dad’s shit and wanted to kill him.
Michael, thanks to Remnant, survived being scooped and being turned into a flesh suit by Ennard. Some people speculate that he's another case of Remnant's healing properties and it’s also insinuated that Mike is the protagonist of most games in the series, surviving just about every location while going incognito with fake aliases, living in shadows. Mikey does have a few alternate universe variants, such as the movie and in the novel "You're the Band". These guys don't work for William, though. But if you really wanna stretch it, he's a pretty tough security guard armed with... a flashlight, a stun rod, and a taser. In the movie he drives a pretty shitty car too.
Go get 'em Mike!
Elizabeth Afton
So Novel Baby works for Afton, but what about Game Baby? Well she doesn’t work for him so here’s his regular human daughter instead. Elizabeth is a small girl who wants nothing more than to interact with Circus Baby, a robot that William supposedly built specifically for her but told her not to interact with. Alas, she did not listen to her dear father and her life was ended in a single strike from a giant claw. Ouch.
Crying Child/Bite Victim
We are not debating what his name is (It’s Evan. - Grimes)
William’s child with the least amount of attention given to him (probably for the best considering his siblings), the Crying Child… well… cries. Like a lot. Hey, he’s probably a good agony battery at least. There’s also a pretty good amount of evidence that Fnaf World actually takes place in his head as he passes away (how wholesome)
Alternate Forms
Junko Enoshima
Ryoko Otonashi
Ryoko Otonashi is a fake identity used by Junko Enoshima after the Tragedy had begun and used Yasuke Matsuda’s memory-erasing technology to wipe out her previous memories. Before those memories were wiped, she kept tabs on other students and previous events in a notebook. Her talent in this disguise is the Ultimate Analytical Prowess which allows her to predict what someone is going to do before it happens by observing for a certain period of time. Unfortunately, she is unable to use it very often after becoming amnesic.
Springtrap
Scraptrap
After the fire which burned down Fazbear Frights, Afton’s Springtrap suit was mostly destroyed, left with the remains of it you see here. Notably lacking an arm and most of the protective covering, one final fire would be enough to destroy it entirely, supposedly ending the monster for good.
Peanuthead looking a- are those fucking ear bones???
Agony
(Fan visualization by u/Alexissss)
Once The Stitchwraith had brought together an enormous pile of animatronic parts filled with agony, Afton took his chance to strike. He awoke his soul from the depths of The Stitchwraith and absorbed all of the animatronic parts. However, he didn’t stop at parts filled with agony. He absorbed all nearby scrap metal and formed a colossal 15 feet tall monstrosity. He was Afton no longer. He was Agony. In this form, William is far stronger, capable of breaking through entire sides of buildings. However, fitting for Afton, the form is not perfect despite its horrific looks. The form was more stable with Eleanor, a being composed entirely of agony (the emotion not the trash kaiju) being inside of it as well. Despite her leaving though, Afton was still able to maintain the form, just a bit shakier. Secondly, if a soul was to merge with Agony, they could potentially overpower Afton and take control of the form. This is exactly what Charlie, his very first victim, did in order to finish him off once and for all.

Scaling
Junko Enoshima
Surprising as it is, Junko is one of the stronger characters in the Danganronpa universe. She had shown to be tougher than Mondo, having defeated Juzo, knocked out Mukuro, took hits from Izuru, fought evenly with Sakura while controlling Headmaster Monokuma and even survived the many executions that had killed several of these Ultimates. Besides her, the headmaster Monokuma has shown to be able to compete with Sakura and Mukuro, while the weaker units are able to kill Toko and Komaru. So Junko and her legion would scale to the top of the series.
Class 78
Due to the fact Junko has shown herself to be physically superior to even Mondo Owada, and the fact Monokuma was able to trade blows with the strongest of the class, Sakura Ogami, Junko should have no problem scaling to the cast of Trigger Happy Havoc.
Mondo was implied to be capable of taking down Mukuro Ikusaba
Yasuhiro dodged bullet fire from a helicopter (33.8 m/s)
Mukuro could perceive bullets as moving nearly completely still (1.9% SoL)
Mukuro was also capable of ramming Monokuma units at this speed (170.9 kilotons of TNT)
Genocide Jack parried strikes from the Big Bang Monokuma
Genocide Jack was able to damage Big Bang Monokuma (Debatable, see Before the Verdict)
Class 77-B
Similar to the Trigger Happy Havoc Cast, Class 77-B is shown to be generally comparable to Class 78, and with Sakura obviously upscaling high tiers like Akane and Nekomaru, means Junko and Headmaster Monokuma would definitely scale.
Nekomaru’s jurassic shit was able to destroy part of a forest (78.04 Kilotons of TNT)
Nekomaru’s charge causes six explosions as tall as Hope’s Peak Academy (394.7 Tons of TNT per blast)
Kazuichi endured getting hit and crushed by an incoming truck
Peko held her own against Mukuro Ikusaba
Ultimate Academy
Now while Junko has never directly met the cast of V3, the stuff they do isn’t really too out of line in terms of raw stats, so scaling them to her wouldn’t be too outrageous. Plus Monokuma is shown to be superior to them.
The whole class survived multiple attempts at the Death Road of Despair
Gonta lifted a manhole cover and threw it with relative ease
Korekiyo lifted Tenko with the totally radical and awesome seesaw trick
Kaito survived his execution, and only died when he let himself die due to his illness (8.5 kilotons of TNT)
Monokuma Units
Considering Junko herself controls Headmaster Monokuma, it’s easy to justify her scaling to the feats they perform. And while she’s dead after DR1, Junko should be physically comparable to other characters like Komaru, who despite being ordinary, is able to keep up with and take hits from various Monokuma units across the series following her death.
Monokuma units can fight on par with Sakura Ogami, the Ultimate Martial Artist & Mukuro Ikusaba, the Ultimate Soldier
Monokuma could one shot an Exisal
Four Monokuma units could part a cloud formation (0.23 Tons of TNT per Monokuma)
Beast Monokuma can evade shots from the Hacking Gun (0.81 - 5.159 c)
It’s also very big (36.77 Tons of TNT)
Big Bang Monokuma:
Strikes with its scepter at high speeds (Mach 39, 67.737 Kilotons of TNT)
Splits an even bigger cloud formation from launching its head (2.3 - 298.5 Megatons of TNT) (Debatable for scaling, see Before the Verdict)
Misc
Thanks to either herself or her Monokuma units scaling to all relevant characters across the series, Junko should be comparable to feats performed by other characters that weren’t already covered.
Komaru dodged a point-blank attack from the Hacking Gun (1.07c)
Komaru and Toko survived an explosion that collapsed a tower
Komaru tanked missiles moving at relativistic speeds (Inapplicable, see Before the Verdict)
Nagisa Shingetsu’s robot can dodge a hacking gun bullet (4.4c)
Takumi sliced a resort in half (960 Tons of TNT)
The Great Gozu elbow drops a hole in the Future Foundation’s flooring
Springtrap
Springtrap is one of the tougher animatronics to come out of the world of FNAF. He’s completely dominated multiple of the tougher humans to come out of the series across multiple iterations, and has even been able to take out the OG 4 animatronics. His animatronics such as the Twisted Ones and Circus Baby are also incredibly advanced, with Baby in particular being arguably one of the most advanced in the entire franchise. So it’s not hard to argue that Springtrap and his animatronic backup scale to the top feats of the series.
Night Guards and Survivors
Afton and his animatronic friends have encountered many victims over the years. While some have managed to survive, they always struggle and just barely make it out alive. Naturally, this shows that Afton can scale to these lowly humans.
Jason evaded a swipe from Foxy.
Mike Schmidt beat a man unconscious and took several bites from Chica's Cupcake.
Jeff and Hank could smash apart glass cabinets, described as pulverizing and "almost vaporized".
Emmett Tucker dodged a taser’s prongs.
Oswald can break free from the grasp of the Yellow Rabbit.
Abe during a rush of adrenaline could break Bobbiedot Two's grasp on him.
Abe successfully dodges advances from the G1 Bobbiedots.
John ripped the head off of Twisted Foxy and took a punch from Baby.
Charlie could damage Baby in the novels.
Some random rug rats ripped apart Toy Foxy to the point employees just said fuck it and started calling it the Mangle.
Vanessa can casually toss around Staffbots.
Mike Schmidt withstood a relentless beating from Afton.
Charlie could dodge an attack from Foxy “faster than she could think”.
Edwin Murray, he made the Mimic. (No scaling to it though he got folded lmao)
On several occasions, characters are described to move within Nanoseconds or at Lightning Speed. (Inapplicable, See Before the Verdicts)
Bob the security guard is stated to move at “lightning speed”.
John threw a punch “like lightning”.
Jessica could act at “lightning speed”
Rory could only “sit still for a Nanosecond”
Jack could move at “light speed”
Mike Schmidt's heartbeat increases to infinity within a nanosecond.
This person’s face crumbles for a nanosecond.
Ronan’s smile dimmed for a “nanosecond.”
This guy drew a map at “almost the speed of light”
Lucia could replay a memory in her head at hypersonic speed.
Lucia could act within a nanosecond.
The Animatronics
The stars of the show, Afton has built and encountered many different animatronics in his time. He was even able to dismantle the OG 4 animatronics before he became Springtrap. So it’s not a shock for him to be able to scale to various animatronics in the franchise.
Five Nights at Freddy’s:
Freddy Fazbear:
Freddy can move at peak human speeds. (12 m/s)
In the movie and its novel, Freddy Fazbear bit a woman clean in half.
Freddy took a fall that shook the pizzeria to its foundation.
Bonnie:
Bonnie can snap necks and rip off a man's head.
Bonnie can rush through the pizzeria at high speeds. (46 MPH)
Bonnie can move so fast it’s speculated that he can teleport.
Chica:
Chica can stomp out skulls.
Chica and Foxy easily outpace a full sprinting man.
Foxy and Bonnie do the same in another ending.
Foxy:
Foxy could rush from Pirate's Cove to Mike’s office within seconds. (9.1 m/s)
Foxy can toss around arcade cabinets.
In the Movie and its novelization, Foxy could cover the entire distance of a hallway within the flicker of a lightbulb. (Mach 1.4 - Mach 1.9)
All four animatronics can withstand 1.21 Gigawatts of power.
Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy decimated the Twisted Animatronics.
During a variant of the fort scene, Foxy and Chica together could support the weight of Freddy and Bonnie.
The Cupcake moves with the speed of an arrow from a compound bow and eats a dude's face and some of his skull
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2:
An unknown animatronic was able to bite out the frontal lobe of a security guard in 1987, Fredbear in 1983 did the same
(Bang’s note: It was totally Mangle) (Grimes’ note: Eh, going off The Week Before it was probably Foxy.)
Withered Foxy can rush through several party rooms at high speeds. (11.7 m/s)
In the novels, Mangle could smash through a ceiling, a slide and wooden crates.
The Puppet can cross the Prize Corner all the way to the security office in mere moments. (16.4 m/s)
Miscellaneous

Happs is faster than a human and can tear them apart with ease.
Ballora causally dislocated a repairman’s arm and proceeded to pull him apart.

The Mimic could zip up a suit within a nanosecond.
Blackbird dodged an attack from Nole in a nanosecond.
Weaknesses
Junko Enoshima
Despite all her planning and machinations, Junko isn’t without her own flaws. She can get easily bored by the nature of her talent, which leads to her making new personalities…though she ends up getting bored with them eventually. Her analytic skills may come in handy but it’s not immediate as she does need to observe her surroundings for a period of time.
She’s also not much of a physical fighter and tends to make more use of her manipulation tactics and her army of Monokuma units. Even with her ability to make people fall into despair, it’s not always guaranteed to happen since others like Makoto have been able to overcome said despair with Hope. Her own drive for despair can also be used as a fault as she’s left holes in her plans just for a chance to feel despair herself. This was what ultimately led to her own demise at the end of her own killing game.
Springtrap
Afton’s greatest weakness has always been his ego. Although he is genuinely intelligent and talented, his own inferiority complex has led to his worst decisions and is directly responsible for his downfall, each and every time. He underestimated the souls of his victims and paid the price, he abused his son Michael and never thought his son would be able to stand up against him, his arrogance saw his physical body rot as a corpse inside of the Spring Bonnie suit, he willingly entered the trap Henry set up for him despite knowing it was a trick, and he played with his victim while he was Agony, giving Charlie the chance she needed to rip his ultimate form apart from the inside out.
Additionally, the Remnant keeping his soul tethered to the metal of the Spring Bonnie suit can be burned away by fire, as was the case with his canonical death in FNAF 6, and his extremely close call in FNAF 3. As seen with his canon death during FNAF 6, heat of up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius) is enough to melt the Remnant away from the metal his soul is tethered to. Additionally, destruction of his suit’s metal through other physical means would be enough to kill him, though this would be extremely difficult for ordinary humans to accomplish.
Before the Verdicts…
Should we use the FNAF Novels?
A big debate when it comes to FNAF, in both vs debating and in general, is whether the books (the Silver Eyes trilogy, Fazbear Frights, and Tales From The Pizzaplex) are canon. For the context of Springtrap, the answer is pretty simple for two of these. The Silver Eyes trilogy acts as a parallel story to the original saga that introduced key concepts and characters such as Henry Emily, remnant, and even William’s name! It’s a parallel universe that is still similar enough to William’s antics in the mainline universe to be usable. As for Tales From The Pizzaplex, it simply doesn’t matter because none of those stories are relevant for Afton. There is one exception, being Dittophobia, which is where the nightmare gas comes from. This story doesn’t contradict Afton or his experiments at all so it should be fine to use.
Where things get messy is with Fazbear Frights, an anthology series fittingly named after the location of Springtrap’s debut. These books get a lot weirder in their stories and it’s led a lot of people to question if the books are canon. So what’s the answer? It’s simple really. The books are canon as parts of the greater world of FNAF, especially the ones where Afton is relevant. They introduce key concepts such as agony and even give us the name of “The One You Should Not Have Killed” from Ultimate Custom Night. This lines up with how Scott said that the books would be used to fill in the blanks that the games had left behind. What these stories do for Afton in particular is show off his final struggle to cling onto this mortal realm as he refuses to die. Even if these stories are not directly canon to mainline Afton, there is nothing actually wrong with the events of these stories fitting into the timeline for him. That’s not even including the entire video game based on Into The Pit which helps reinforce some of these concepts. So for the purpose of this blog and vs debating in general, the novels are perfectly fine to use for Springtrap.
Should V3 be included?
Arguments For
There’s some debate on whether Danganronpa V3 should be included in this for Junko and to the majority of the blog members here, we agreed to use it, but why exactly? She does not appear anywhere in the game as she is long dead and the mastermind Tsumugi states how the previous two games are fictional universes and that the one in V3 an in universe reality tv show. But it’s not quite that clear as after Tsumugi is defeated, Shuichi questions if what she said about the first two killing games was really the truth, even stating that they probably could have happened but he had no real way to prove it. Kodaka even prompts the player to replay the prologue to confirm some details regarding the ending and it blantly shows that Tsumugi was lying about one aspect regarding the ending. How much she was lying remains unclear intentionally and it’s a heavily debatable topic in the fandom.
However none of that matters much if Junko never truly showed up in this game right? Well, yes, but Monokuma does, and he is a key element of Junko’s arsenal. She’s the one who originally created him and to the majority of us here, this is a full examination of Junko and Monokuma in an attempt to be fully comprehensive in what they can bring. Plus, given that nothing he does in the game is that much different from mainline Danganronpa, including V3 in this is generally fine and doesn’t affect too much in the grand scheme of things for Monokuma. In terms of this specific match-up though, we will address certain items from v3 in the verdict section. Also for the sake of this specific debate, given how Afton is given similar lee-way with the novels expanding on his full capabilities despite having their own dubious canon, it should be fair to give Monokuma who acts almost the exact same and doesn't detract from the one seen in the mainline Danganronpa games and anime. We should note though that regardless of its inclusion or not, the vast majority of the people on the blog agreed it would not sway the result one way or another. We’re aware some may feel it strange to include but know that it ultimately did not matter if we did or didn’t include it. Side note, but the Monokubs aren’t included as they are a new addition in V3 separate from Junko. They also really add nothing even with the Exisals as Junko already has so many robots and giant mechs that are superior to what the Exisals can bring.
So overall the majority are fine with V3’s inclusion as it does not contradict much of Monokuma’s previous showings in mainline canon and to be fully comprehensive of what he can bring as a major part of Junko. However there are a few who have their own take regarding V3 so…
Arguments Against
While arguments exist for including V3, there’s problems that can be pointed out in its usability. To address the most obvious, V3's inclusion in the Danganronpa timeline is purposefully dubious given the themes of the game. In V3, Danganronpa is viewed as a reality TV show that's ran for 53 seasons, stuck in effectively an endless cycle of hope and despair until Shuichi is able to finally convince the audience to help end Danganronpa for good. There are aspects of the game hinting at the tragedy potentially having been a real event in the universe, but that doesn't change that this... isn't Junko. Junko doesn't exist in V3, and even if she did before, it's an entirely separate group of people running the show in the first place with different motivations.
However, it wouldn't be fair to mention this without talking about Monokuma, as while Junko most certainly doesn't exist in the killing game V3's relevant in this blog for, Monokuma is. However, this... doesn't really matter. Monokuma is part of Junko's arsenal, but saying that Monokuma should get things only found in a killing game entirely separate from herself, run by a separate group entirely makes little sense in the first place. The two cannot be interchangeable here; given Junko’s the reason for the match existing, we feel she should be the one given focus. It should also be noted that arguing this for equal leniency to the FNAF novels in the first place isn’t the best comparison, given it's questionably canon material for one character versus questionably canon material that doesn't involve Junko in the first place.
All in all, there’s points to be made against including V3 for discussing Junko in this blog. It opposes the information V3 tells us, Junko herself doesn't exist in the killing game, and overcomplicates an otherwise mostly straightforward discussion on what Junko should have access to.
What’s the deal with Agony?
Agony was briefly mentioned earlier in Afton’s abilities, but what exactly is agony? Well you see, emotions in fnaf are a very powerful aspect of a human, constantly emanating off of them like sweat or scents without them even being aware of it. These emotions latch onto almost anything or anyone they come across. When it latches onto something, it acts like stored energy, not being used until someone or something acts upon using it. It can also be transferred between objects as if it was electricity. Emotions vary in terms of their energy and power. The more negative an emotion is, the more powerful it is and the more impact it has on the world around it. And no emotion makes this more clear than the most powerful one of them all, agony, the pain and suffering of others.
Agony (and human emotions in general) can act as a potent form of energy, as mentioned earlier. However what it is especially remarkable at is corruption. Agony has been shown on multiple instances to corrupt electronics. As mentioned earlier, Andrew, a boy filled with agony, corrupted the battery of an animatronic dog so badly that it could kill a man when used on them. There was also the time when a man, fueled by all of the rage and agony inside of him, managed to give the simple AI of an enemy in a video game (which was actually Springtrap funny enough) full-on sentience and even the ability to make itself physically real. It is also heavily implied that Afton’s agony corrupted a branch of M2/The Mimic, leading to this branch not only taking on a design based on Spring Bonnie, but start acting like it was actually Afton, though this is partially speculation as Glitchtrap is a very mysterious being (that being said it is not Afton). These are examples of how agony on its own can “haunt” objects without a soul needing to actually be involved.
Now there are some things that must be clarified about what agony can’t do and what it isn’t. Agony isn’t remnant. Souls can use the powers of emotions but they aren’t made of it. This means agony alone can’t keep someone on the mortal plain of existence. They still need a conduit like an animatronic.
Additionally, agony is like any other source of energy. If there isn’t enough of it, then it won’t be enough to power something. This was mentioned earlier with how Afton’s ultimate form, Agony, was struggling to hold its form without Eleanor’s additional agony.
This all leads to the ultimate question. What can Afton do with this stuff? After all, he needs outside sources of agony in order to do all of these crazy abilities, right? The answer is a bit more complicated than that. You see, during his time as Agony, his soul “was barely hanging onto this reality.” Afton was at his absolute weakest here, didn’t even have his springlock suit, and yet he was still able to make the form before even absorbing Eleanor. Compare that to a prime Springtrap who is wearing a suit that is coated in the agony of all of his victims, and you see why he needed an extra boost. Additionally, a soul can generate its own agony, such as Andrew who generated his own agony purely due to his hatred for William. Despite what his ego would imply, Afton is in constant pain in that suit, to the point where he sometimes tries to pry it open and yells out in pain. His own suffering can act as a twisted self generating agony battery for his abilities.
Steelwool Era Scaling
(Agony depiction by u/Alexissss)
In the future, years after Afton’s demise, Fazbear Entertainment is still going strong and has multiple sets of animatronics far beyond Afton’s own machines. These being none other than the Glamrock animatronics, who have multiple feats of their own. Now while they are certainly more advanced than Afton, there is nothing saying they should be infinitely above him in stats. These animatronics were made to please children, not fight. There are a handful of cases where regular people can somewhat tangle with this generation of animatronics, like with the Bobbiedots and Freddy. There are also multiple instances in the franchise of older animatronics being able to keep up with more advanced ones, such as the OG 4 beating the twisted ones in a fight, or when Roxanne Wolf struggled to keep up with The Mimic. The Mimic is a bit of an odd one for Afton to scale to. While he’s even older than the springlock suits that Afton wears, The Mimic has shown to be physically superior to even the most advanced animatronics like the Glamrocks and has survived walking through a pool of molten steel, a feat far greater than Afton’s own suit and endo skeleton getting messed up by a simple building fire.
However, Afton does have one trick up his sleeve that lets him scale to all of these freaks. That trick is his ultimate form, Agony. Being a 15 feet tall amalgamation of animatronic parts puts him at a level of strength far beyond what any normal animatronic can do, no matter how advanced. So in that form, he should be able to recreate the levels of strength of the Glamrocks and The Mimic with ease. On that note, this does bring to question if the Agony form should scale to The Blob in Security Breach, who is suggested to be responsible for an earthquake that shakes and destroys the Pizza Plex. However, the only link to scaling here would be the Mimic, who we do see get snatched up by the Blob. However, how this “battle” goes is entirely off screen and the little tid-bits we do get suggest the Mimic was completely helpless against the Blob (It was literally begging for help). So scaling to this feat, or The Blob in general is likely moot. It’s also worth throwing out that we don’t believe Afton should get anything from the Special Delivery game, outside of maybe some supporting evidence for a couple things. The main thing people point to for Afton being present in it is an in-game email that says the Spring Bonnie animatronic smells bad. Which just isn't enough evidence on its own and anything else is from scrapped content.
To summarize, Afton should reasonably downscale the Glamrocks and likely shouldn’t scale to The Mimic in base, but easily upscales all of them once he becomes Agony. Scaling to The Blob isn’t viable though.
Beloved Nanosecond Statements…
This is something that we knew we'd have to address before work on this blog even started. As these arguments are pretty notorious.
While you could just say they're outliers, that's not exactly the problem with them. All things considered, they're actually decently consistent. However, besides that, there isn't really much more to say other than that they are just blatantly hyperbole. When it comes to novel feats like this, how the word is used is important. Obviously, some of these should just be thrown out without discussion. Nobody is buying that this guy drew a map at the speed of light literally. Some on the other hand, a lot of people do put some weight into, specifically the Mimic stuff. But what separates these from other, more solid Nanosecond Statements is the fact that they're just pulled out with no special detail behind them and the author's intent is just pretty clear, that they're only trying to describe something moving vaguely fast and they're not trying to portray it as some grand feat of speed.
All in all, this is just really straight forward and there's not much more to it. They’re just hyperbole and shouldn’t be used seriously.
Does Junko get RoD?
Now given the fact we gave Junko two of her most devoted followers, Mukuro Ikusaba and Monaca, why aren’t the Remnants of Despair in this battle as well? Well to simply put, they’re extremely disconnected from Junko’s general plans and more so one piece of the puzzle. They also more so went off and did their own things. Even then, the best one you could argue for being part of this battle is Nagito, due to him being the Servant of Monaca, and if you know anything about Nagito, you know he probably wouldn’t do much of anything in a fight such as this. Now as for the rest, they really just went off on their own. Now while they were carrying off Junko’s wish to plunge the world into Despair, they were more so doing it their own way and not under Junko’s direct command. The only reason she gets Mukuro and Monaca is because she worked much more closely with them in a lot of their goals, with Mukuro joining the Killing Game for Junko and Monaca carrying out Junko’s wishes even after she died.
Tldr; She’d only get the Remnants of Despair in a complete army fight and not something more low stakes such as this since they went off on their own.
Higher End Danganronpa Feats
The Relativistic Missiles
An argument that has popped up recently for Danganronpa stat discussions has been Toko and Komaru taking missiles from their various boss fights against the Warriors of Hope. While not impressive on the surface, these missiles can yield absurdly high numbers up to 104.4 Megatons of TNT by comparing their movement from moving in tandem with the Hacking Gun’s EM waves, and then applying Kinetic Energy to their shells hitting Komaru and Toko. So, is this valid?
… Yeah, no. While the math behind the calculation does check out, it’s pretty incongruent with what’s actually happening. The EM waves in question are pretty clearly intended to be much faster than the missiles, as the entire design for the attack is for them to be slow enough to be shot down or repelled with Knockback, so saying they’re comparable in speed already brings problems. Additionally, logic like this can result in feats being grossly inflated then what they’re reasonably depicted as, and isn’t even consistent with how the missiles are portrayed. Judging by their size, the explosions themselves are far less powerful than the durability the shells would have, as if the shell was packing mountain level durability it would make it so they shouldn’t even break out of the shells in the first place. And if we do argue the explosions are that strong, it means that they would be packing 2 times the strength of the Tsar Bomba, the strongest nuke in the entire world. Not really consistent with how they’re depicted, given Towa City’s not wiped out in a single blast from them. Given these reasons, we disagree with using this method for calculating feats, and don’t believe this calculation is valid to use.
Big Bang Monokuma’s Cloud Split
Arguments For Scaling
Big Bang Monokuma’s major feat has some contention on it as a feat and while the majority of the people on the blog agreed it was fine to use, here’s a quick breakdown of the feat and why we think it scales.
The feat in question is Big Bang Monokuma launching its head after being defeated by Komaru and Toko. Is it viable as a feat in both ap and durability? Yes, it’s able to apply a ton of force to the head any by nature, it’s an output level of energy exerted onto the head, therefore an AP feat which should also scale back to its durability. It would be strange to claim it somehow doesn’t scale to its own feat. Do people scale? Yes, both Komaru and Toko fight and take hits from it until they eventually defeat it. In particular, Toko is able to parry strikes from it and harm them with her fever attacks. While it’s unclear what exactly happens given the attack animations are exaggerated showings of her attacks, we do know she damages the Big Bang Monokuma around its entire body as it visibly reacts to the attack and explosions appear all around their body, recoiling from the attack.
But wait, the eye is its weak point you might say. Remember to keep in mind that explosions appear all across their body, implying she slashed across the entire thing. This is actually similar to how she used fever attacks against other bosses where they react and explosions appear all over. And even if it was the eye, there’s very little to assume it’s 100s of times weaker than the rest of the body. But wait, Big Bang Monokuma has no visible damage on the model you might also say. This is true but that’s the case for all enemies and the mech bosses. They have no damage on the model but are clearly affected and destroyed by Komaru and Toko’s attacks. It’s just a gameplay limitation that’s mainly expressed through the explosion appearing all around them when hurt, including Big Bang Monokuma.
And in general there’s nothing that implies this feat is way beyond anything we see and if it had this much behind it, why would it decide to hold back when they’re actively trying to kill Komaru and Toko. And the feat only applying to durability can’t really work because the feat has force behind it, something that exudes energy and would make very little sense to say it’s only durability related. That’s pretty much the full stance on the feat. The feats scales in AP and Dura to Big Bang Monokuma, Toko is able to block attacks and harm it and it falls in line with how they harm and take down every enemy and boss. Headmaster Monokuma would scale via stalemating Sakura who is above Toko.
Arguments Against Scaling
Big Bang Monokuma’s cloud split is without a doubt the most interesting feat to discuss when talking about Danganronpa in versus. Before starting, let’s establish what the feat is in the first place for those unfamiliar. At the end of Ultra Despair Girls, Toko and Komaru engage in a prolonged fight with Big Bang Monokuma, where after countless hacking gun shots, scissors to the eye and a big hope bullet blast to end it off, the big bear finally shuts down. But before that, it suddenly ejects its head into the sky at rapid speeds, parting a massive cloud formation. While the feat itself is undeniable, the problems start to show when you look at what the feat is, and try to scale it to other characters.
Starting off, this feat isn’t as simple as an attack that splits clouds which Toko and Komaru can compare to. The explosion that caused Big Bang Monokuma (let’s call him BBM for short to save time) was from its body, but likely caused by its own self-destruct, given the Hacking Gun is meant to target the exact system in Towa City’s Monokuma units, and this is consistent with how it’s portrayed as an internal explosion during its defeat. While nobody has a way of scaling to this self-destruct, BBM would still need to be durable enough to withstand its own kinetic energy, given we see it’s fine after crashing down aside from its eye. The key word here however, is durable enough.
To quickly establish a basis though, there is sufficient evidence to show BBM’s durability should be above its attack potency. Keep in mind that this is a robot we’re talking about here, where they can commonly be built to be more durable than what they may dish out physically. This is supported through BBM being initially built as a defender of the city, and in addition for what we see in its boss fight. Throughout the fight, Komaru and Toko can only ever damage the mech in the eye, either by shooting it with the Hacking Gun, Toko attacking it up close, and knocking back the missiles into it. BBM can even shield his eye to prevent damage being done to him. This is important, due to the eye being considered the weak point for Towa City’s Monokuma units. Toko and Komaru could only win the fight through attacking this weak point, and the mech itself was still unscathed after crashing back down from its self destruct while the eye shattered, showing that the point attacked was way weaker than Big Bang Monokuma itself, yet it still took time to achieve. Considering Toko and Komaru can take hits from the mech regardless, the most reasonable conclusion to draw is that Big Bang Monokuma’s durability should be greater than the attacks it dishes out, otherwise the fight doesn’t make much sense. Not even too outlandish, given bosses you can’t hurt conventionally aside from weak points are rather common for boss design.
And following talking about the showings for BBM’s durability being > its AP, it also shows the main problem in scaling other characters to the cloud split: Nobody has showings that have them match or surpass this stat. Komaru and Toko can take hits from it, but that doesn’t say anything about matching its durability as mentioned earlier. Shirokuma broke out of the mech’s eye after it landed from the self-destruct, but they would only need to be taking their own KE given they were inside the head. Toko can knock it back with her taser, but would likely just be another showing of Towakuma units being vulnerable to paralysis… you get the idea by now. Even the Hope Bullet, Komaru and Toko’s strongest attack, was strong enough to send the mech back… but didn’t leave any signs of physical damage to its exterior, only causing its systems to malfunction and self-destruct like it did earlier. If anything, this would be a strong showing against characters harming BBM normally, given the game’s strongest attack lacked any notable physical damage to it.
However, despite Komaru not having any showings, her (definitely romantic) partner Toko has some interesting arguments that are worth discussing, her parrying BBM’s strikes, and showing physical damage via fever mode abilities. Starting off, Toko parrying BBM’s attacks doesn’t add much to the discussion here, as weird as it sounds, parrying attacks doesn’t require you to necessarily match the attack’s own durability. For a real world example, think of a baseball player knocking a thrown ball, they don’t need to match their durability to do so, just exert enough mass to move it back, otherwise we’d be seeing loads of broken baseballs by now. Less extreme example then what we’re given here, but the point still holds, especially given knocking stronger foes around while they’re unharmed is common in fiction. Next, Toko’s Slash Lust abilities showing damage to BBM. While the visual is interesting at first, this isn’t really meant to be a literal interpretation of Toko’s damage to the mech. The visual presentation isn’t meant to be taken seriously, given the Monokuma cutouts and various other over the top details. While these attacks do show resulting damage, the methods done don’t transfer to the actual fight once they’re done, such as cutting BBM in two, pinning it to a wall with several scissors or dicing it to pieces. The visuals do show her damaging BBM normally, but this is probably just due to the developers not wanting to cause complications with using BBM’s eye for the scenes instead given they wouldn’t be able to use the same animations otherwise, supported by Toko still being in front of the eye once the Slash Lust is complete. Also real quick, don’t get confused by BBM shaking their head at the end being from the damage, as this is a mechanic in the fight done to get Toko off its head after enough time passed. The same goes for the explosions that may appear on BBM, given they appear gradually across the fight as damage is dealt to the eye, not from the resulting Slash Lust or anything. It’s just a visual indicator on how much damage you’ve done to the eye.
So with that said, there’s not really a viable way to scale characters to the mech in durability, but one should also think on the implications scaling to a feat like this would have in the story. Across UDG, the adults are practically cornered by the Towakuma units, sitting by and waiting for an opportunity until they find Komaru with the Hacking Gun and Toko with her… everything to finally stand a fighting chance. But when they do finally get BBM, the war suddenly turns heavily in their favor, with the Towakuma units being unable to deal any meaningful damage against it as it’s unscathed when Toko and Komaru fight it. If normal characters like Komaru and the Towakuma units did compare to its durability, it definitely would have sustained much more damage by now. While this isn’t a primary argument against scaling, it’s still important to remember when talking about how characters compare.
To summarize, while the feat itself is legit, the problem with Big Bang Monokuma’s Cloud Split is that there aren’t any clear ways that you can scale it to other characters across Danganronpa. The feat itself comes from its self-destruct and its durability, the former nobody interacts with and the latter has no good showings of characters harming Big Bang Monokuma normally to scale them to the feat, and if anything have multiple ways to show they aren’t able to hurt it normally. So while comparing characters to its other feats is fair game, the cloud split itself should be off limits for scaling.

Verdict
Stats
Starting off with their stats, it isn’t as quite straightforward as Junko tends to let her headmaster Monokuma and other various support do the fighting for her as she tends to plan and scheme things from behind the scenes. So for this section, we’ll compare how Afton stacks up to both Junko and Headmaster Monokuma in stats. Starting with Afton first, the best his AP can get is scaling to the twisted one surviving the gasoline fire which gets around 0.04 to 1.4 tons of TNT which he should reasonably scale to. As for his speed, he’s moved at around Mach 2.93 via moving in the office very quickly. He should upscale both in his Agony form so pretty decent stuff but how does it compare Junko and Headmaster Monokuma?
Well for Junko herself, she’d certainly be above Komaru who has had no real fighting experience prior to UDG and at the start of the game she can dodge EM waves which are light speed and get around 1.07c. Multiple characters are capable of this such as the lower level Monokuma bots and the warriors of hope. They all range from 1c to 4.4c and at max 5.5c. At the very least, Junko herself would be 1c given how Komaru is just a regular teenager at the very start of the game. She would then go to keep up with Nagisa's mech which moves around 4.4c who dodges the EM waves and can even get up to 5.5c as beast Monokumas are able to dodge EM waves at this speed and Komaru can keep up with them. As for AP, she’d be around 2.15 to 53.77 tons of TNT via surviving the rocket launching into space and landing back on the ground.
As for Headmaster Monokuma, he would scale to Sakura (who is stated to be the strongest person on earth) as he stalemated her in battle. This puts him above almost everyone in Danganronpa, including Toko and Komaru. He would upscale to higher end speed feats as stated earlier and other students like Nekumaru who took a dump so hard he caused an explosion at around 78.04 Kilotons of TNT. Mukuro who could perceive bullets as nearly frozen (which gets around 1.9% SoL) and ram Monokumas at this speed which gets around 170.9 kilotons of TNT. As well as Toko who fought and hurt Big Bang Monokuma which gets around 2.3 to 298.5 Megatons of TNT via launching its head.
So yeah pretty strong and pretty clearly way above Afton with the high ends of headmaster Monokuma being 213,214,285 times stronger and 1,640,614 times faster than Afton's highest stats. Even when just focusing on lower end feats like the 78.04 Kiloton dump by Nekumaru and Mukoro moving at 1.9% SoL, Monokuma would still be thousands of times faster and stronger. And so would Junko by herself, while not as strong or fast and headmaster Monokuma, being comparable to other students like Komaru makes her at least be 417,747 times faster via the 1.4c feat Komaru does at the start of the game and 53.75 to 38.4 times stronger from Junko surviving the rocket execution when directly comparing their low and high end AP feats. Being blitzed and one shot regardless of which end you use and with or without Headmaster Monokuma. So with that wide of a gap, Junko and Headmaster Monokuma both comfortably take stats from Afton.
Tertiary Factors
For this category we'll focus on general skill, experience and intellect. In terms of skill, neither have much direct combat showings, preferring to scheme their own plans to kill their targets. Afton tends to be more direct in this regard as he goes out of his way to directly kill his targets and is quite stealthy at it while Junko commands her subordinates, her Monokuma or sometimes pressuring others into killing who she wants. And as for experience, while they have very little direct fighting experience, Afton has been a murder and scheming crimes for at least 10 years while Junko's reign lasted for a few years. So afton should get the edge in both right?
Well.... keep in mind that he'd also have to face Headmaster Monokuma which Junko would primarily operate as her means of combat and Headmaster Monokuma is on a completely different level. He was able to stalemate Sakura in combat, who is considered to be the greatest martial artist in the world. He's also able to match Mukuro, a world renowned and specially trained soldier proficient with almost any weapon and has never been injured in combat, and Genocide Jack, a serial killer who's wracked up thousands of bodies. Afton doesn't come anywhere close to the levels of these people and wouldn't be anything crazy as a serial killer when compared to Jack who has a higher body count and has more direct combat experience. Junko herself has also been personally around many seasoned veterans like Juzo Sakakura and made it out in one piece, making any of Afton's personal experience with killing moot by comparison.
And similarly, Junko also takes intellect with ease. While Afton has come up with some insidious schemes involving the murder of children and invented some impressive machines like the Funtime and Twisted animatronics as well as the Scuper, this does not compare to Junko. She's come up with plans that have led to massive riots, full scale wars, and left the world in complete ruin and despair. She also built a highly advanced AI of herself that also possesses her very own Ultimate Analyst talent. And with this talent, she's able to analyze any information and situation. Being able to predict what a person can do, what they think and what action they can take. This would actually give her a firm opportunity to manipulate him to put him in a very bad spot as Afton has had a history of letting his ego and inferiority complex lead to his downfall several times. Something Junko would take full advantage of as an expert of manipulating people’s emotions to commit atrocities to fit her own goals. That isn't even the Ultimate Analyst full capabilities but that alone mixed with her other accomplishments shows the difference in their intellect, giving her a firm edge.
While Afton is quite the crafty schemer and possesses a brilliant mind, he does not compare Junko taking on way more skilled and experienced foes through Headmaster Monokuma and her Analyst ability is something so far beyond anything Afton has encountered on top of most likely falling victim to her manipulation.
Support
Moving on to support.... yeah Junko takes this category with ease. Afton has a decent group of animatronics on his side, some equipped with bladed weapons or illusion disks that can play tricks on your mind or make you feel ill, mainly as a means of luring people into a trap.
Then there's Junko.... who has a full on army on her side.... which is much larger and more deadly. We've already brought up Headmaster Monokuma who outclasses Afton both in stats and skill, he also has multiple spare bodies if he is somehow destroyed. Junko can control up to 100 of them at once, already larger than all of Afton's support. But that's not all, Junko also has her sister Mukuro on side, a seasoned soldier who has been stated to be the equivalent of an entire army of soldiers by herself. There's also the various Monokuma Units led by Monaca Towa, each with their own unique trait. Ranging from flying, blocking attacks, throwing bombs and such. Monoca also personally can command all the Warrior's of Hope's mechs which each have their own unique attacks. There is also a giant sized Monokuma about the size of a large building as well and can destroy the top of a large building. And on top of all of that there is a second Junko in the form of her AI who is an exact copy of her and can control the Monokuma units should anything happen to the real Junko. This is all without mentioning the vast arsenal Junko's army can bring and that pretty much every single member here outstats Afton and his support by a massive margin.
And to be frank, a couple of animatronics equipped with blades are not getting through that. And those illusion disks aren't gonna help considering most of Junko’s support are robots so....yeah let's just move on to the last category.
Versatility
Lastly we have versatility, the real meat and potatoes of this debate. Both of their arsenal and abilities are quite useful and could potentially swing the result in either favor.
Afton is bringing a lot of weird abilities that could catch Junko off guard. He has many forms of hallucinations that can range from distorting your vision, make you hear voices, see things that aren't there or make you relive past memories. Agony also grants a variety of abilities such as detecting your soul, infecting you with his soul, data manipulation via corrupting certain electronics, causing electric shocks and making you relive certain memories. He's also tampered with electronics from what he's shown against the monitors in FNAF 3. He can magnetize any metal and absorb it to turn into his Agony state, a giant metal monster. All of this he can achieve while being incredibly stealthy and is theoretically tough to kill via remnants tying his soul to his suit and gaining extra agony from Junko and her army.
So with this in mind, could Afton turn it all around with all this at his disposal? Well... no, in fact Junko has an answer to almost everything Afton can throw at her and has abilities and tools Afton can't overcome. For starters, his stealth is useless as Monokuma's are built with infrared and night vision, allowing them to always keep an eye on Afton. Afton attempting to magnetize any Monokuma or mech to absorb would be his undoing. Not only would they all resist this via just overpowering him and being far greater than anything else Afton has absorbed, even if he somehow did, all Monokuma bots and the mechs are built with self-destruct bombs that would instantly kill Afton the moment she sees him attempt this.
Shocks wouldn't do much to Junko as we've seen her survive Mondo's execution shocking her and all the Monokuma units are too fast to hit them with it and other units who specialize in flight or blocking attacks. Infecting Junko with his soul is theoretically possible but it’s incredibly unlikely as she's too strong and fast to be hit by any of that, let alone with an entire army protecting her. All the memory based abilities really would accomplish much as that doesn't affect the robot army nor her AI, but also Junko's Analyst AI would circumvent this. She was able to predict entire events when she was brainwashed amnesic perfectly. While she personally has never experienced this, any attempt to make her relive memories wouldn't work as her Analyst ability can analyze a method around this and given her experience brainwashing and manipulating people's memories she should easily be able to.
Tampering with electronics and data corruption sounds useful, but they have no instances against the likes of any of the Monokumas, mechs and much less the Junko AI who had overpowered Chihiro's attempt to remove her from the NWP. Chihiro's AI would have much better control over data and electronics then Afton yet he couldn’t stop her, the simulation had to be completely reset to put a stop to her. The data corruption in particular requires Afton to put his full focus onto one at a time, leaving him wide open to the entire army of Monokuma bots. And even if he did somehow succeed, it's not even assured the AI would even work for him. In the two instances of AI corruption in FNAF, one tried to kill the man who gave it sentience as soon as it could, and the other was an AI built purely around the idea of mimicking people. Just in general there's nothing to suggest he can affect so many robots at this level at once and with being so far behind stats makes it unlikely for him to get it off.
There are the hallucinations though which would affect Junko causing her to hallucinate, distort her vision, make her see things and could maybe hurt her (though how much is unclear). He just has to get past the hundred plus army of robots, mechs and a giant sized Monokuma. There's also the fact that Junko tends to hang back, preferring to let her Monokumas do the work for her, there would be little reason for her to be put in harm's way in the first place and her Analyst ability can clue her on this as she's able to read the thoughts of others and predict their next move. Even past all of that though, let's say it affected her and Junko is in a bad spot or somehow dead, her AI can continue the fight and she wouldn't be affected by it nor would any of the Monokumas or mechs. So as it stands, Junko has answers to all of Afton's options that either don't work or have a caveat to them.
Meanwhile Junko has a multitude of ways to kill Afton several times over. Well you ask, how does she get past Remnant? Wouldn't that make him hard to kill? Not really, for starters she could just kill him without the need of destroying the suit as his soul is forever bound to the suit so he wouldn't leave it past his death. There's also the weakness of fire that lead to Afton's canonical death in FNAF 6 which Junko has a massive amount in her disposal. The Burning of the Versailles Witch, Cultural Melting Pot and Wild West Insecticide executions all involve fire in each execution and would be more than enough to kill him. The second one in particular would also destroy his spirit completely via the salt Monokuma uses to destroy a spirit completely. (That said if you are iffy with V3, she still has several methods outside of that to kill Afton outside of these methods). There's also the various Monokuma units with bombs and flamethrowers as well as one mech Monica can control that has its own various bombs and missiles.
Lastly every Monokuma and mech is equipped with a self destruct bomb that would incinerate Afton. While Afton survived the fire in FNAF 3, he barely made it out of there and would later die in the fire in FNAF 6 which had heat of up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. This can be easily exceeded by the various bombs, missiles and several flame based moves at her disposal to melt the remnant away and given the absurd application of her analytical ability, it wouldn't be crazy for her to come to that conclusion or just frankly happening by chance. Even if you want to argue the extreme hypothetical of Afton using remnant to try and possess a Monokuma, she can just instantly blow it up the moment it acts out of line, ending Afton instantly, via Junko herself or her AI. And if you wanna argue he can try to pull that on Junko, Afton in canon has never possessed a human, his soul never shown doing that and likely wouldn't happen here.
But wait wouldn't Junko and her army supply agony to him? Wouldn't his agony related abilities grow more potent? Yes but that would take too long to achieve and would also require to not be blitzed and one shot by an entire army. None of that matters if Junko just decides to kill immediately at any point and on the point of Agony, it's very likely Junko can sense Afton storing up agony within himself. Junko is able to sense if a person has hope or despair. Agony is an element of despair and she could take notice of him building more agony during the fight. With help from Analyst ability and generally intelligent mind, she should be able to pick up that she needs to end things quickly.
And she certainly can with an army of Monokuma's that all have various weapons and abilities that can easily overwhelm Afton at any point as well as her own arsenal. She can induce Afton to kill himself with the suicide video or mess with his memories via the despair videos. Subjecting him to several executions, one of which would launch him into space and crash back down to his death. Overwhelm him with multiple Monokumas with razor claws, long ranged attacks and explosives, or just crush him with the sheer size of the giant Monokuma. Then there's Mukoro who is proficient with every weapon possible and is equivalent to that of an army. Along with that Monica can also summon the warrior's of hope's mechs that have giant axes, drills, explosives, snipers and more. Even Junko on her own can realistically take Afton down by herself. Being already superior in stats than Afton and having the Analyst ability on her side, she can avoid anything he does and just toss a grenade to blow him up, killing him instantly. If by some miracle he is able to reach Junko who decides to be in harm's way and somehow kills her, that wouldn't be the end as he'd have to deal with Monaca and more importantly Junko's AI who can continue the fight and require him to beat the entire army. He has no chance of beating the army and with no way to stop or even reach the AI and having almost no defense to any of Junko's massive arsenal and deadly abilities, Junko takes the final category from Afton, leaving him utterly hopeless.

10 years to get added to Dead by Daylight only to be a mid tier
Junko is on a completely different level in almost every single department. She’s faced far greater threats, ones who are considered the strongest and most skilled warriors on the planet while Afton is a rogue serial killer who doesn’t get into direct combat often. And while Afton is quite smart and an excellent inventor, it doesn’t reach the absurdity of what Junko has accomplished in plans that ended the world and her Analyst ability being able to analyze any situation and information puts her so far beyond anything Afton could come up with. Statistically Junko wipes across the board with Headmaster Monokuma or even on her own, blitzing and one-shotting Afton regardless of what ends you use. Afton’s support, while useful, doesn’t compare to seasoned soldiers, mechs, giant sized monokuma, and armies of monokuma robots. And she’s able to pilot at least 100 of them at once and given how everything she has blitzes and one shot them, Afton and his support are completely helpless. And while agony and his hallucinations do provide theoretical win cons, none of them will ever happen given the large stat gap, how a good amount don’t even work against the Monokuma army, or just straight up countered.
Even with remnant, it can be circumvented or have its weakness to heat exploited by Junko. The stat gap, analyst ability and army are just way beyond Afton’s pay grade. Unable to match anything and having almost all his moves be predicted before he could react leaves him with no opening to ever come out on top. The sheer scale of their accomplishments says it all. While Afton is a murderous serial killer, Junko is a terrorist that brought about the end of the world.
